Short, but sweet

I have indeed heard some variations of this song, but this was a great example. Oh wait, you meant variations in the song itself, which was nice. I really liked how it was loyal to its feel of a sort of Middle Eastern style but also more like "The Legend Of Zelda" games. I am probably only saying that because one of those songs is one the list of related submissions. The beat was interesting enough. It was in no way action like and it had a lot of feelings of casualness, but still cool.

I loved this!

This has got to be one of the coolest things I have heard in a long time! What really works for this is that is very demanding music. It has so much going on it gives off a great feeling of adventure and even a little bit of mysteriousness. My only complaint is that it was in fact a little repetitive, but it's such high class music you really forget about it. I hope that this becomes more popular as it at least has a high score right now. You really know how to put emotions into your listeners.

Good stuff indeed

This sounds familiar so it's strange that this has not appeared in a single entry. I am glad to be introduced to this music simply because it's so awesome. Everything is just synched up very well and it gives the listener a true sense of epicness. It just keeps rising more and more as it goes on in certain points. While that may not be a new technique, the other things you experimented on were good. Action is obviously a popular theme here on Newgrounds.

Perfect indeed

I was quite impressed at how everything seemed to loop together and even more so about how I finally got to review this! I have heard this being used in so many things! I keep seeing the name ParagonX9 from people and it's great to be reviewing more of your stuff! This had a great upbeat to it, and it was quite adventerous. It does loop greatly and it's an action song that you can put to a lot of games. It just goes to everything that you could ever want in a really epic song.

I liked it much

I thought that this was a really nice song to listen to, simply because it was so pleasant. It did get more fast paced after awhile, but it evens out to be peaceful. The one thing that could have made this better is if there was a little more variety. It still manages to get a good message to the listener, as it visualizes (because of its title) nostalgia and the like. It makes you think of a more simple time in your life when you could enjoy things simply for being there. In short, thank you.

It is calm

It's strange, because I can not seem to recall this music from any Mario game, but whatever. It is still quite a pleasant song and it is fun to listen to, because it is pretty calming. It could have used more variety, but still good. It almost seems like it's something that would come from a lullaby. Some of the notes were a little too high, but it's probably just something with me using a different compuer, so it does not really matter. I am glad you took time to make something so peaceful.

Very nice

While there wasn't much variety in this, I have to give you props for making something that was really pleasant. I couldn't quite understand what you meant when you said "Never Forget". I was thinking it was about 911 or something like that. It was a very emotional song that really tug at your heartstrings. I have heard many emotional sogns, but this really gets the idea of sadness down with its tone. I'm glad I was able to listen to this and all the sadness it was able to bring out.

A great song

At first, I thought this was going to be an authentic feeling of rain falling everywhere, but it was almost entirely vocal. I'm glad that it at least turned out to be something great. I liked the use of the piano and the coming up and down of the notes you made. While I don 't think I'll look into your other stuff, this is pretty admirable work. You seem to have a nice voice that knows how to emphasize things. I guess it's supposed to be a metaphor for struggles in life or something.

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Thanks! If we continue the song we'll make some adjustments.

Absolutely beautiful

This is among the most pleasant and authentic songs I have ever heard in my life. I don't think I have ever heard a more realistic representation of rain in a song. It must have been cool to have it rain when you were done with this song. I enjoyed this thoroughly and thougt it was among the most emotional experiences I have ever heard. It would have been great if you just left the rain by itself, but to add variety in your work with that gorgeous piano playing is absolutely fantastic. This gave off emotions of love, hope, and great joy.

ObsidianSnow responds:

Thanks for the review, Ericho! It certainly was fun to write, and I'm glad you enjoyed it, too.

Very intense!

I can see why this has been used in stuff like "Red Moon" and the Super Mario Bros Z series. This never lets up, simply because it doesn't even try to build itself up! When it goes from the end to the beginning, it's just the same kind of music. It's just pure action and doesn't even try to tell a story, just set a tone of adventure. I'm not familiar with "Devil May Cry 3", but this seems to be great for any video game theme. It's a pretty unique style that I am glad to hear.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
