Very cool stuff

I am glad you worked to make something really decent with this. You are not the kind of guy who works with video game stuff much, so it's nice to hear your take on NES sounds. I honestly can't really recognize them which probably proves how good you have remixed it. This was indeed a bouncy, fun little thing that gave off a feeling of happiness. It's nice that I am listening to a casual song right before leaving for a big Christmas vacation. May I wish you a Merry Christmas as good as mine should be!

When I said "NES lead" I meant it was inspired by the NES. There are no samples in this one.

Very nice

I am quite impressed at all of the effort that was put into this song. I'm not that familiar with "Banjo-Kazooie" music, but this does seem like something that would be in it. It basically gives off the feeling of a somewhat goofy video game environment like Mario. I really like how it has such a soft tone and doesn't even try to be dark. While it does give off a sense of adventure, it is optimistic every step out of the way. Probably not the catchiest thing ever made, but certainly good enough to recommend.

More great stuff!

It just amazes me every time how you come up with extremely cheery melody after extremely cheery melody. I could tell this was using the guitar and maybe the keyboard. It gives off a feeling of not just joy, but also of wonder and looking for things. I am not familiar with Public Enemy stuff, but this seems much happier than something they would make. It almost seems like something that could go into a video game, like Sonic the Hedgehog. You have truly worked hard to make something that everybody can enjoy.

Simply beautiful

I was not expecting much when I saw this, but I was very happy to be completely wrong. This is one of the finest pieces of music I have ever heard submitted to Newgrounds. It shows true grace and can applied to a coming-of-age story or a slice of life story. It makes you think about the end of the day and all that you have accomplished. It shows a great sense of style and works well for its 3 and a half minute length. It has its flashy moments, its sincere moments, and all around it's 100% enjoyable.

I like this very much

I thought that this was a great piece of music made, and it really fits your ideals of an optimistic song quite well. With all the swearing in your Devvo videos and the dark flash stuff, it's nice to have more light-hearted stuff. I could not quite indentify the intsruments that were used in this. I was thinking it may have been about, what are those things called? While a little repetitive, the overall good cheer made it all fun to listen to. I am glad you were able to do well in this softer and nicer style.

Wonderful!

I must say that I am very glad that I am finally finishing reviewing all of your audio submissions. It is only suiting it would end with something that was one of your best! I would know a lot about 80s music as my brother is obsessed with it. This was quite loyal to the genre and manages to create a beat that is authentic as well. I am impressed at all of the work that you have made and put onto this website. I truly believed you have improved with all of the stuff you've made.

I like this a lot!

It was really interesting how you put a story with it. I was thinking about why you didn't just make a flash out of it but then I realized there were once things called books used to tell stories. I felt that this really fit the mood, and it was very sweet, if short. It does remind me of happy old winter times when I was a kid. Seeing as how I haven't played in the snow (I haven't been able to) ever since I was a kid, it really fits. I also like how it gives the feeling of meeting an old loved one.

Hah thanks. I wrote that over 2 years ago.. now that I think about it, it's kind of embarrasing, hehe.

Lots of fun

I'm not sure what "cake" means in this text, but this makes me think it was about a party. I was impressed at how cheery and highly joyful this one seemed. I have been checking out your other stuff and this is by far the lightest thing you have ever used. It was nice how you kept up that nice little style consistently for six minutes. It may not have had the most variety, but when it gets stronger around 1:20, it really takes off. I am glad you have truly experimented on a lot of different styles.

You're on a roll!

I am impressed at how you have managed to (recently) make consistantly good songs. The use of female voices was really nice in this one, and I'm eager to find out what kind of system you use. You really have worked harder to make better songs! While this wasn't as catchy as a professional song, it was still pretty good. You seem to be increasing the length so it becomes more professional seeming. It is nice to hear your progress throughout all of the stuff you have made.

Great!

I am glad I was able to catch this year old audio submission right when Christmas time is here this year! Anyway, I know this was probably more of a winter time theme, but I don't really care. I could swear I hear jingle bells or some instruments associated with Christmas. This had a very soft style but also managed to have a pretty fast pace. I liked how it started slowly and really built up after awhile. It was a very pleasant song and it's nice that this is a pleasant tune a person can just enjoy.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
