Man, I am really getting used to the new animations we show while the song is being played. I really enjoyed this because it was just meant to be a short, funny song. It's probably not a song in the sense that it doesn't follow any ongoing rythum. This is, of course, just fine with me. I like it how people make songs that are just meant to be short and fun. Even the title gives you a fun sense.

I enjoy how there's always things going on in this song, how incomprehensible it is. It has no real beginning or end when you make it loop. It doesn't build up or anything, it's just the same goodness over and over. There's not much else to say about something so short and sweet. It's a happy song.

When I first heard the name "Marcie" I thought this was going to be a "Peanuts" remix. I am rather glad it wasn't, because it might not have worked as well if it wasn't. This sounds like something that would be in a Final Fantasy game. That might only be because I've been looking up information about FF lately. Was this done with your voice? If so, then you have a freaking fantastic voice.

You, xKore, have truly given us some great music. It's a bit hard to make out what you're saying sometimes. I guess it's mostly just, "Never lift it up". I have no idea what that would mean in any kind of context. This is a song that really encourages high spirits.

I thought this was a really cool song. I think the reason it mostly works so well for me is because it has a great feeling to it. You get the sense that you're in a strange world where crazy things happen. It even seems to be the right length as it doesn't delve too deeply into itself or too less. I like all the little things that go on in this game, like how there's this one human scream in the middle. I think that's probably the most common used scream, next to the Wilhelm scream.

I like how it sets you off to being in a strange, technological world. I appreciate songs that try to take their audience on journeys even if it's incomphrensible. Most songs here are probably like that anyway. It also does a pretty good job of building itself up. There's tension everywhere in this nice song.

I'm getting the weirdest feeling of Deja Vu when listening to this. Oh yeah, it was used in a submission that I had played before. All I can say is that this is one great song! It's unbelievable how everything is so fantastically well paced with how fast it is. It's the kind of thing that never lets up for a second! It's nothing but hard tension being built up and created the whole time.

It seems like it's really buildng up to something. It doesn't even matter because it's so awesome how everything's so perfect in itself! I appreciate all the weird transitions this thing goes through. It makes no sense at all, but dang, it is tons of fun to listen to! I salute you for making something so good.

Woah! This is one of the coolest songs I've ever heard here! I really don't even understand what it has to do with zombies, which I am in fact a big fan of. I guess even something that at least has zombies in the name is bound to be something I would enjoy. There's just so much going on with every single sound effect here. I appreciate the sheer willpower to make such an awesome song!

It's hard to even pin down a single style because everything's so insane here! Mostly it's the beats that make this, although the voices are great too. It's extremely ambitious music and I can see why Tom Fulp likes this so much. It doesn't tell much of a story by itself. You can really assign any cool story to this awesome song. I am SO glad you realized its greatness.

I thought this was a great song! It's mostly because it has this really hopeful mood to it. Then again, the description you gave of it was anything but. Oh well, either way, it's a great song. It seems like you were trying to create the impression of things sparkling. It just sounded very ambitious to me. You don't often come across songs this long and one that is so long usually turns out to be really good.

You may have also been trying to imitate some game taking place in a castle like "Castlevania". It had sort of a medieval atmosphere, now that I think about it. There are a lot of good, contrasting styles going here. It's just a very enjoyable song that has a lot of atmosphere. It does it better than most songs.

ZaronX responds:

Thanks for the feedback! c: Glad you liked it!

The song is part of a larger project that I've continued to prod at over the last year. Hopefully soon I can follow up on this and Artificial Nature with something, as it's been slow going and my time is kinda scattered. The goal of the whole shebang is to fuse electronic sounds with more traditional instruments, most notable here being the piano. If you like this one, you may wanna keep an eye out for the others as I slowly trudge along~?

I thought this was a very good song, probably because of how zany it was. Now that I listen to it harder, I can definitley see the Madness influence. That stuff appears all the time on this website. I like how it even has a cybernetic technological tone to it. It makes you think about some future where a war is taking place. I have no idea what that guy is saying in this, it sounds like "Bangarush"!

This struck me as fairly unique even in a website where there are so many things out there. I like how it kind of has a haunting melody to it. It seems to experiment with itself with a lot of nice styles which is good for variety. It's even at a good length. It's funny when the woowoo sounds come in.

Oakwood responds:

Thanks for the review! I'm hearing a lot of 'woowoo' synths myself, but I think I know what you mean ;)

I thought this was a really cool song. At least it was good enough for Tom Fulp to favorite! I think what's most appealing about this is how it has this really funky jive to it. There's a nice sense of being laid back, probably because it says so in the song so many times. It might not be that original, but it's really good for what it's worth. It could have used a tad more variety, but I appreciate what it does have.

It's mostly what you would expect in a song about shrooms. I think my favorite part is when you hear some of the weirder sounds. That certainly goes along with the theme of the song. I also like how you don't notice when it loops at the end. It flows together well like any surreal song should.

What a coincidence! I was just looking up information about the Castlevania games and stumbled across this. It would fit with those games or really any other kinds of games where you fight zombies and/or vampires and/or any other supernatural creation. I think this song has real ambition to it. I even like how some of the sounds sound like Simon Belmont's whip. Again, I don't know if that was intentional.

What was also sweet is how it was organized to the point where it didn't matter where you listened to it. Everything flowed together so well. I didn't hear any pauses or anything when the song when to replay itself that much. It does build up at the end, but you hardly notice it. This was a fun song.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
