I recognize this

It seems like a lot of songs do not get listened to on Newgrounds a lot, but this was a great exception! I loved every bit of this, particularly with how it had such a wonderful theme. It feels like it can go the way of a fast paced but also kind of relaxed at the same time. I have certainly heard it before from all these entries. It also transcends by giving a great feeling of wonder as the song goes on. It had a sort of 90's cool factor do it like being on skateboards but still sounding modern and updated.

And again!

Final Fantasy VII definitley gives us some of the best video game oriented music. I kept associating this with pokemon and that was because it was obviously used in a pokemon entry. I loved the variety in this and how it really went beyond the normal Final Fantasy music. It just seem so appropriate for any kind of battle, like a pokemon battle! It sounds so glorious like there are horns blowing or something. I admired the sheer amount of time and effort that it took to make something as good as this.

Good and long

I admire how you manage to make a long song and still keep it good the entire way through. I guess the weakest part was that it was a bit too long, but there is still enough variety to love it. There is so much going on, it is hard to pinpoint a main theme. There is definitley a lot of tension building up and I like the use of negative sound in some places. You hear about how that can be useful in things like paintings (with negative space) but it works for songs too. It is a great original submission with some elements of mystery and wonder.

1. That's what she said.

2. If you listen to any ACTUAL trance outside of the fake music shell known as Newgrounds, you will find actual "original mix"-es and they are the so-called "long versions." lololol

Aside from those two points, thanks for the review! If you ever get the chance, please listen to ACTUAL trance. If you don't know where to start, and don't know where to look, PM either Jape or myself.

Very cool

I do not know of the original "Omega", but this was a fantastic song to listen to in its own right. It almost seems as though you were trying to imitate "Mega Man" music. There were some parts in the middle that had a small technologic feeling to them. As it goes on, it even seems to have a sort of jazzy feel to it. For whatever style it is, it is a great one that incorporates a feeling of adventure and ambition. It could have used a little more variety, but still great because of how fast-paced it is.

EliteFerrex responds:

The original "Omega" was a song I submitted under the title Elite Ferrex. I was making it simultaneously with another song, Alpha, which I never submitted. THe two songs went together, Alpha and Omega. (See track entitled Alpha and Omega for original mesh.)

The best!

This song is among the most famous music that was ever featured in nearly any movie or TV show. I love this because it has so much going for it and crams so much into it in such a short time. If nothing else, it is great to have this fantastic music all in one place! It almost seems like a holy song building up to a great fight. While it always sounded like that, it definitley does the best job of imitating the true style more than anything else I have ever heard. I can not wait for when you make the full song!

Pretty good

You did a good job of managing to deliver exactly what the title of your song said you would. My biggest complaint is that there is not that much originality to it. It is still nice because it actually seems to work in its genericness. It is the sort of thing that can be used for a lot of different flashes and it has an overall pleasant theme to it. I appreciated the humbleness of the whole thing and it did manage to have some variety. While not the most satisfying, it is definitley good for a quick listen.

Great attitude

You were obviously referencing the website as a whole with this song, but I just loved it all around. It was a bit hard to see how it was just about Newgrounds, but that is a trivial matter. I do really like it how it tries to get all styles into one song. I do not even understand the overall theme as it is just so random by having everything that you want in a cool tribute song like this. It almost sounding like it was trying to imitate basketball or something. I notice a great technique is to sort of stop in the middle and then get back to the madness.

Very stylistic

It is great to hear somebody sing an original song on this website. Apart from having a great beat, I really have to appreciate it for having a style so unique I can not even understand what it is supposed to be. It has been used for battle stuff, but also seems to work for a more mundane love story. It gives off a tone of ambition and wonder. I especially like the use of the piano (it will never stop bringing back memories, I swear!). As it is long for a submission, it never lets down.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
