T'was beautiful

This is one of the best tunes I have ever heard on this website. I guess the game "Theia" had so many songs it was just hard to remember a single certain one that stood out as being good. With that being said, this was probably the best in the series. It gives off an absolutely perfect feeling of hope, love, joy, and wonder. It is among the most pleasant things that I have ever listened to. While the game may have been hard, at least you created this fantastic song to go along with it.

A good song

Well, I have to congradulate you on earning the #1 spot on Tom Fulp's favorite audio submissions of all time (as of now at least). It was pretty cool to listen to all that, even if it could have been shorter. While it was not very long, I would have liked it if there was some more variety going on. I am not sure what this "Power of 3" thing is, but congrats on making something good even if it is not really popular. It does give off a pretty good sense of action. It felt like it was changing in tone to science fiction at the end.

I do like this

I was pretty impressed at how this managed to keep such a steady beat. I admit that it was hard to listen to the lyrics, so it was nice for you to put them in the author's comments. It is perhaps not so much the music, but the lyrics, that really come out to me. I am a person who usually works alone and I have had trouble making friends. You know how to make a good emotion of loneliness and the utter despair it will bring us in the long run. The beat itself is pretty mesmirizing and original.

One of the best!

I loved listening to this song and I think it is one of the best that I have reviewed in awhile! I really love how it does not really stick to one theme, but really goes over the place. I had no idea what was going to happen next, and it was a great example of telling a story in a song. It is the kind of thing that could be made into a really great flash. This is at least great to listen to on its own and I liked the variety of instruments being used. It is obvious that this took a lot of time and effort to create.

YouriX responds:

Thanks man! I am glad that you liked it so much beacuse i did went thru alot just make this one. But i cant say i did it alone shooting star did a wonderfull job composing it!

How pleasant

I was impressed to hear so many loops being made in that game and I of course recognize this. What is really cool is that it manages to have such a soft tone to it. As a person who has worked hard to get medals, I can understand frustration with playing games like these. I enjoy merely listening to this in its own right. It may not be the most creative I have heard, but it serves it purpose in the game very well. It almost sounds like a Christmas melody I heard in "Home Alone" or something.

Tom helped you?

You must be pretty glad he helped you, as he was nice enough to rank this pretty high in terms of his favorites. This has been used in a lot of things, but I have not heard of any of them. I kept thinking it was trying to be like "Sonic the Hedgehog" because of the icon you had on your profile. Anyway, while I could not pick out the exact references to Newgrounds, it was still great. It was nice to talk about it in the very beginning and then go on to a really adventerous part. The different styles show off the site's uniqueness.

PaulyBFromDa303 responds:

LOL Tom really has this in his favorites? I would like to talk to him again, perhaps a Newgrounds gettogether that I've heard they have, once I get money to do such a thing lol.

But yeah these were hard times for me. I was constantly getting my account hacked by some doucher, changing my username and password. So I had asked Tom to reset it for me. Once I had it back this guy kept trying to harass me about it, little did I know that this was a guy I THOUGHT was my friend . . . fucked up.

Anyway, Thanks for the review. lol This is something I gotta see

How classy

I know this is just going to seem repetitive, but yeah, I listened to this because Tom Fulp favorited it too. I thought this was at least a very fun song in its own right. It does get a little repetitive, but what matters is that it keeps a good style. I was trying to figure out what this was trying to imitate. At first I thought it was going to be something like Sonic the Hedgehog ice theme, but then I heard these beeping sounds at 1:34. I guess it was a combination of numerous video game styles.

You and the truth

I could easily see this being made into a YouTube video that would get a ton of views. At first, I thought this was audio taken from "Full Metal Jacket" or something. It was apparently something that you simply made on your own and I am glad for it! This is quite impressive for not just what you are saying but how you say it. It really does seem like something that a professional rapper might make. It becomes personal because it turns a catchy song into a social statement.

linez responds:

thanks you,and i wish i could take credit from that speech but it was from alex jones a man that is speakin out against the fake.check him out on you tube.

Very nice song

At first I was thinking this was not going to be a song in the traditional sense. I thought it was just going to be just some sound clips or words taken from a chat you and your friends had. It was different from even that as it was a rap that took some truly smart satire on this website. Everything is synched together very well and it is interesting to hear this. I love the more casual things that are being said towards the end (heh, rhymes). The background music is also quite appropriate for this song.

Slow?

I was not bothered by the fact that this was a little slow at first, as that seemed to be part of its charm. With that having been said, this was a great song to listen to. Even in softness, you still manage to give off a lot of emotions. It does take off after awhile when it has more action sounds, but it still manages to keep its message. It is a triumphant piece of music that can keep its goodness throughout the whole run. It is pretty creative, even if it does probably need a little more variety at the beginning.

AudioVision responds:

Yeah sorry about the "slowness warning" in the description. I was just getting a lot of complaints that it was slow in the beginning.. i personally didn't have a problem with it.
Anyway, thanks for the review! I like this piece... it's a good display of my work :)

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
