Face to face indeed

I think this lived up to its name because it did seem like it was a very strong piece of music. The voices were really omnious and it was very nice to hear such a good style. I could have sworn that I heard something in there about a vase. This appeared to be technological based as it had a good futuristic feeling to it. I also like how, at the end, it really spread itself out well in terms of volume and tone. It also started off very well with how those words were being used in that pretty weird way.

Pretty suiting

I liked this song because it was nice to hear something so appropriate. As final bosses usually take a long time to beat, I was kind of hoping this would be a lot longer. It actually is quite well paced for what it is and it is even hard to tell where it starts or ends. I guess that means it has pretty good organization. This certainly seems to be good for an infinite loop as it flows with the beginning and ending so well. While it was not the most gripping of boss songs that I have heard, it was good.

Star Wars!

I believe those sounds were used in the "Phantom Menace" Star Wars movie. It was weird how the title did not even reference how it was. It was just great to hear all these great lines, especially Chewbacca roaring. The tone in this was really dark and it had a great overtone to it. I could just hear the Stroomtroopers running upstairs so dramatically, or maybe that was Darth Vader or someone like that. The original sounds and music used are also really cool and flow together quite well.

Breed responds:

Thanks sir, the bassline is supposed to be like a lightsaber. I can't say that any sounds are actually from the star wars movie. Many are made to just sound like it. I know the sound designer for the series and I've seen him do some sound design clinics, so there's really easy ways to make some start wars stuff for me, Anyways, thanks for your time and a nice review again!

Cheers!

T-O-Y, toy

This was great fun to listen to if only because the "Toy Story" movies are probably my favorite film series of all time. It was probably not more fun because I wanted to hear more sounds from the movies! Still, this was great to listen to because it was quite surreal. I generally do not think of these things when I think of "Toy Story". I visualized something like a great bowl of jelly just jumping around everywhere. There was certainly variety, as there also seemed to be some Christmas sounds.

Breed responds:

Yea I wanted it go from a real light and major feel(which dubstep doesnt have often) and kinda jump into the real style with some kind of demonic vocals. Turns out Buzz's voice did just fine. Thanks for putting the time into an awesome review! I always love hearing other peoples imagery.

Cheers!

Pretty good

I wish I understood what MAC stood for and if you got far in the contest. This was weird because I kept trying to identify the stock sounds that were used in this. It seemed like I could hear Stewie Griffin at the end or maybe some of Chris Tucker in the middle. I recognize the phone sounds and I understand why that was used as the theme. It was not a great theme, but it did seem to set itself up pretty well. I just liked how there seemed to be some futuristic sounds which are expected in a tech based song.

Quite bouncy

This was a great song because I felt as though it had a very optimistic tone to it. It is interesting to take note of how cheerful and gleeful it sounds. It seems like something you would put in a science fiction flash, or maybe a tribute to astronomy. Its overall tone is quite ambitious and it tries hard to entertain the audience. I could get the feeling of going on a great journey through the galaxy. This is also quite energetic as it just keeps going from tune to tune with no stop at all.

It is pretty weird

Of all the crazy stuff I have heard, this is weird, but probably not among the weirdest songs I have ever heard. There is a lot of style in this because it keeps up a continual rate of insanity. It was fun to visualize what was being represented here. I guess everything I visualize seems to be related to "Sonic The Hedgehog" these days. It made me think of not so much a broken rollercoaster, but really any fun and crazy thing to do. The use of drums is very good and so is the record stratching.

Pocketpod responds:

Well with "Broken Rollercoaster" I thought on something like youre on a rollercoaster which is dangerous to ride^^

Thanks for review!

Crazy again!

This was great to listen to because, while not as ambitious as some of your other stuff, still utterly fantastic. There was a ton of action going on. It did not seem to bring on a tone of violence so much as it did a tone of coolness and neat stuff. It almost sounded like part of a sound a car would make, like when you are honking the horn. They seem more like fired shots in a well done song. The rythum is easy to follow and it just has a very strong style, but not too forceful as some other songs might be.

Twisted!!

This was great to listen to because it was just one of the most insane songs I ever heard! I had no clue what the theme was supposed to be, if there even was any! There were a lot of technological or simply mechnical sounds. Everything blended together to make one awesome compilation of a song! It was especially cool when I saw the "eye" background because I really felt this song was trying to look into my soul! It is so fast paced you can barely remember anything because you are so caught up in what is currently going!

Second voter!

Woah, it is weird being so early with the votes. I just find it strange that so few people have voted when this is actually one of Tom Fulp's favorite audio submissions! Anyway, what really makes this good is that it knows how to experiment in such a short time period. It seems to give me a feeling of calmness, albeit still with a zany overtone. The beats are well done and they sync up well. I think you may have set a record here on Newgrounds for the shortest author comments.
