It's interesting to see all the stuff you've worked on over the past couple of years that never got finished. A lot of Madness stuff seems to be in the Top 50 now. Anyway, I thought this was pretty enjoyable. I have in fact seem so many Madness things, it's hard to find stuff that original, but this is still pretty well done. I like how you also had a pretty appropriate title for it as well. You could have put a Replay button or something at the end.

Then again, maybe I'm just not used to using the right button part of my mouse. I think the best scene was in the snow. It looks like there was some nice detail put into all of the parkas and stuff. The sound effects are as good as any other Madness tribute. I didn't even notice the HML thing in the corner.

I think this had some really good designs, but the overall animation wasn't that great. It's mostly because most of the guys look kind of bad with how they appear. I will give you credit for having some really good ideas that are done fairly well. That was what really saves it, especially at the end when you see that giant henchmen with the acid. The acid is, I think a great effect and it really causes damage to the environment. It's sweet to have the enemies have metal claws like that.

Not the best Madness flash, but still good. I think the sounds were synched up pretty well. I also appreciate how there are a lot of good angles being shown in this. It comes off as strong enough to make you forget that it doesn't have the best animation. Brush up on that and this could be better.

This has one of the highest scores I've ever seen on a flash cartoon! I can tell because it has so many great action scenes and stuff. It's so satisfying to see Steven Seagal take out a celebrity like him. It's a pity Christopher Hitchens is dead (he hated Seagal, as well as Mel Gibson, Mother Teresa, Bill Clinton and everyone else) or he'd be dead too. I loved the insane ending. It's stuff like this that makes me realize how awesome you are.

I notice how the dumb guy who killed himself has a T-shirt saying that he loves "The Phantom Menace". Congrats to Seagal for being able to cut an entire fat guy in half. Granted, it was a dream, but still great. It seems like whenever I hear this guy being satirized, it shows him killing everyone around him. I'd love to see Chuck Norris show up in this. He would, of course, easily defeat Seagal.

I don't think I'll review the fourth episode. Well, it's been a long time since I watched the first entry. I think the sprite work was actually pretty good in this. There were a lot of problems, though. First, there wasn't enough action. I have no problem with there being dialogue everywhere, but it doesn't really add up to much.

I noticed there were some spelling errors and when the characters show up with their dialogue, they get kind of a scrunched image of themselves. I think "Dragonball Z" and "Sailor Moon" are the two most popular series for crossovers. The credits also seem pretty slow. You could maybe work on having the characters fit into the series better. There's just so much stuff out there, it's hard to find stuff that unique.

Punisher33 responds:

I chose these two cause i did a story of them when i was in jhs of the redo of the cell games it involved the street fighters also. so i said why the hell not. i will go into everything in my new series.

It's been awhile since the last episode. I really think it's cool how the voice works. It's not exactly like James Earl Jones and that makes sense, because it's a cat doing the voice, not a person. It's sad to think about what kind of accident might have burnt that poor cat's face. My only complaint is that the animation seems really outdated. Then again, perhaps that was the appeal of a cartoon like this.

My favorite part was probably when Cat Vader attacked using his red lightsaber. I wasn't expecting that bit of action. This seems exactly how Darth Vader would act if he was a cat. It's hard to even tell the difference between masks as the only differences are the prescence of his whiskers. It's funny from beginning to end.

It might be the worst cartoon you've ever made. Of course, as you are my favorite animator of all time, even that would be good. I thought it might just end after the original joke. Other April Fool's stuff has gone like that. Well, I didn't think you guys could get more utterly insane than you already have with the sheer ridiculousness in everything you've made. I should have seen that penis coming (no pun intended) with the "M" rating.

Happy April Fool's Day! It seems like it's become a yearly tradition. I had no idea that Martin was moving to the United States or that he had a (new) wife. TGWTG has been affiliated with absolutely EVERYONE ON THE INTERNET. You guys are basically the Internet version of Hollywood.

It's too bad the lyrics never surfaced. Then again, this did have some music with it, so it does have sound in a sense. What's funny is how I was a bit disappointed with how this didn't seem to be as wacky as some of your other submissions. I was pleasantly surprised when it randomly had the Devil appearing and destroying things. It's really the kind of cartoon where you have no idea what is going to happen next. I guess it could have had more action, but it doesn't need it.

I guess the moral is something along the lines of don't steal doughnuts or the Devil will destroy everything. Well, at least you're sending a good message! This seemed to be something new as it didn't have any recognizable characters from your other stuff. Dude, I think this is the highest score of anything I've seen since the new website layout! Congradulations!

thanks ericho

What I thought was funny about this was that it really did seem different than other things you had made. It's probably the darkest thing you ever made. It seems more like something David Firth would do. I appreciate you trying on a new style. There wasn't a lot of wacky animation in this, but the overall premise was wacky enough. I think the best part is when the baby burns the person's skin.

I like how you consistently keep up that voice. It's great how you used the name "Penny" as it's a very cute name. While not very long, this still delivered the goods. You will simply never stop submitting good stuff to the Portal, will you? One of the most prolific artists I've seen.

LazyMuffin responds:

This is dark? I think that Desktop Stripper and even the second half of Lazy Writing 5 is a lot darker than this. I don't even consider it a new style, I just tried to make it more commercial-ish cause it's also sort of making fun of toy commercials.

Thank you for all the comments, I read them all.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
