This is one of the best DailyToons you guys have ever made! While I am a standard reviewer, I still found this to be better than your other stuff. It was a lot better than the previous one I reviewed, because you were able to go back to the menu. The one with ThreeStar was the best. It's always nice to see some live-action stuff thrown in.

I know it's not encouraged, but it gave us "Numa Numa Dance"! I also liked Starberry's. I was disappointed I could not actually quick anything in it. I wonder if you guys will ever release a daily toon in mp4 format? I kind of doubt it.

TheStarSyndicate responds:

nah

Well, what can I really say? I admit it was nice to get a valentine that literally had my name on it. It is quite impressive with how many views this has gotten (received?). The song was pretty good too. It does remind me of older times when I gave away valentines in school. I gave them to everyone I knew.

Most people did the same thing too. I do want more than just a single image. Of course, I also liked that Foamy thing about Hurricane Katrina. That was, of course, more intellectual. A pity I didn't review this when it first came out.

PhantomCat responds:

How do you get down off a dragon?

I was pretty weirded out by this. I wasn't sure if it was a comedy at first. I knew it was when the one monster flashed a mushroom face for a second. Oh yeah, he did that. I appreciate how good animation is. I really did like how it was unpredictable. I guess I'd like it if I was more familiar with the story.

I didn't understand why that guy didn't get infected. He got bit on the neck! Maybe that's just not how it works. I thought the girl sounded like Rina-chan. I really am starting to miss her.

DuDuL responds:

Once he got bit i went with the game mechanic "You died... retry?" and you can say that the latter parts are from the previous checkpoint.
Thanks

I didn't really care for this. I think it was okay. It was still better than any feature length parody movie in the last seven years. It seemed like you were mentioning the clichés a bit too much. You don't need to do that. Parental abandonment is probably worse in anime than Disney movies.

The animation is pretty alright. The best part was probably when he exploded. Explosions are often cool. I'm not interested in more episodes. It was also a bit too long.

KKING1 responds:

about "Parental abandonment"... in here it was more of a Dead parents... like in Naruto,Bleach,DBZ,Kill la Kill... Come on almost every hero in anime is an orphan or have a dead parent because parents hold the hero back... like Chi-Chi hold Gohan back in DragonballZ! :P

I really liked this, because I had no idea where it was all going. It truly was interesting to see how one thing lead to another. I didn't quite understand it all. Then again, it's a comedy, so it probably wasn't meant to make much sense. I really like the animation. The newspaper and gluestick factory thing was pretty cool.

It really is a cartoon that tries to make sense with itself. I liked the constant nut jokes. I was hoping there'd be one at the end. Oh well, this is still very good. The music is cool too.

danmarkowitz responds:

I forgot to put a joke at the end? Aw nuts!

I LOVE this cartoon! I think the best part about it is how good the animation is. You just have no clue whatsoever is going to happen next. You don't even have any idea what's going to happen when the crazy stuff starts! I can see why this won Daily Feature. I just loved everything about it.

It was also just the right length. You knew just how to get the joke across as brilliantly as you wanted. The colors are gorgeous in this. It seemed like you were influenced by Gonzossm. I'm talking about the gritty parts, of course. It's just a wonderful cartoon.

Speedo responds:

haha o gee, thanks man. its funny you mention being influenced by gonzo since this cartoon was a step AWAY from that. as in, my styles always been compared to his constantly and it got a little annoying so i want to try some other things to maybe end the comparisons. but o well, thanks for the kind words tho

I thought this was fairly decent. From the title, I thought it was going to be from the Duck Division. That's a group on this website, right? I am pretty glad it wasn't. It would have just been one of those spam flashes. I like how quaint it is.

I was thinking that there was going to be some final punchline to this. It never really happened. Two million views isn't much for YT, I read that right, didn't I? I imagine this happens to most Internet animal celebrities. A pity they live shorter lives.

CameronMc responds:

The punchline was supposed to be the general goofiness of the escalation throughout the short, but yeah, it definitely could have been paced better. I did the audio in one afternoon then timed the different shots to that, so that'll probably give you an idea of how careful I was with it.

It was supposed to be less about this animal becoming an internet celebrity, and more about this silly mildly interesting thing that, because of pure luck, became something much greater than itself.

Maybe a little to nuanced for a silly doodle animation :)

I really did like this cartoon. I'm surprised Weebl wasn't credited for it. It's obviously his voice on this. I guess I'm kind of glad it isn't in an infinite loop. There must be some feature here that allows you to rewind it, like the audio submissions. I always like things with cats. It helps you didn't get too scatological with this.

I'm not that much into poop, at least not as much as cats. This reminds me of a strange fear I had in childhood. I was afraid the toilet had a giant ant in it. I'd have rather cats in it. The melody is as good as ever.

RWappin responds:

Hey thanks. I tried to add Weebl on the sidebar thing but he has to click something to accept it. I gave him an audio credit and mentioned it in the description, but I guess I'm kind of relying on people to read those things.

I admit that was freaking fantastic! I think the floating rabbit head said something about the guy who was reading a book wanted his life, I don't know. I freaking LOVED the animation in this. It's among the best I've ever seen! I can't believe I missed the first episode of this. Everything just flowed together wonderfully.

I even loved how creative the credits were. This was just the perfect length too. I appreciate all the effort put into drawing this. It's just fantastic to look at. I love the voices too. I'm glad to be introduced to someone as great as you!

ScaredyDave responds:

Wow thanks! If you haven't seen it already, you can catch the first episode here on Newgrounds as well! The link is in the description, or you can find it on my Newgrounds account. Thanks for the love! Haha in this episode I did ALL of the voices except for the evil laugh the Cow Skull Ghost/Demon (his name is Big Bad Ghost). Glad you had fun! More to come!

Oh, this is just so funny. It's one of the best examples of how good a really short cartoon can be. I think the main reason I like this so much is because of how good the animation is. I mean, it really is top notch! It's like you can really see all the bits of fur on these hamsters' bodies.

At least I think they're hamsters. It's hard to tell if they're gerbils or guinea pigs, or, well, hamsters. It's great to see someone go crazy like that from being away from the Internet. It works so wonderfully to get its funny joke across. I can see why it won Daily Feature.

WaldFlieger responds:

Thank you so much!! :D

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
