It was nice

I'm not the biggest fan of this game (in fact, I don't think I'd heard it before) but it was well done. This didn't even have anything fancy simply because it just didn't need to and it works well in its simplicity. I'm glad I was able to watch this. The animation could probably use some work, as it does look kind of bland. I thought the guy who was taking his clothes off was going to have sex with the woman! It's a soft take on what is considered to be regular life.

Vitty responds:

Thank you!

How did you make that?

I am as glad as anyone else that the Clock Crew exists, and that Clock Day exists. This did in fact look like it took more effort to make than StrawberryClock's "B". It was pretty creative to show muscular StrawberryClock with a mustache. Being only one screen, it is quite difficult to find anything that I would recommend to anyone. I guess it has significance, but on its own, it's really nothing special. I guess it was nice to do a tribute and you do not just have an okay score, but a great one!

masamu responds:

yeah,I wrote this a long time ago,but think of the fact that SBC started the same way

AWESOME!!

It's simply fantastic you were bold enough to make something really great involving "Pokemon". At first, I was going to think you hated the anime, but you apparently don't! I've gone on places like YouTube and Deviantart and found that "Pokemon" is indeed very popular, so there is nothing to be ashamed of, my friend!

The flash itself, probably due to the fact that it had some of the best music scores I've heard in a cartoon! The animation wasn't perfect, but was good, especially how Steelix popped out of the ground. The epicness of it was simply unbelievably intense, and I love you for making this!

Tyrant-D responds:

Thanks for the review! honestly im not ashamed of making a flash involving pokemon, even though I'm 21. its the fact that I hear alot of fools go "pokemon is gay" or "lets kill pikachu" really! i say why say it? saying that just makes you immature. so i briefly explain that in the submission description.

Now I can say that in Spanish

I was half expecting to see him go up to a female dog and say that, but it was something else. I kind of thought this was some of your lesser work, as it didn't have much of a punchline. What really saves it is how good the animation is. It's funny to just see him jumping around (apparently, you can say, "la la la" in Spanish). It's easy to follow and it helps that there's a lot of setup for the final joke. It may have been predictable, but it isn't terrible at all.

Darkar responds:

Thanks...?

Hey, that was really funny!

The animation is as interesting as ever, and it's nice to be more associated with this popular series. I was a little disappointed that it seemed to only have one punchline. It should still be noted that this was still quite funny, due to the fact that it addressed that issue. I heard that are many gay penguins, but didn't know this was the cause. It's a pretty realistic representation of a reaction to something like that happening. I found it odd how one of the penguins was green, when they normally are not [green].

Darkar responds:

Apparently you put a lot of effort in the analysis of this type of artwork.

Well, you shouldn't. Cartoons are meant to be unexpected and ridiculous.

Very well done!

I was indeed quite impressed at how this managed to have a reference to every single entry in the Madness Combat series. It was great to see all of those guys in the same place. My only complaint is that the animation did seem a little goofy at times. Still, this had all of the action you would want in a Madness Combat flash. It was also funny how you ended with the moral of not making fun of clowns. The music was also very cool and fast-paced and fit the theme quite well.

RazorShader responds:

Thanks :D
And I know what you mean about the sometimes goofy animations ;)

I loved the tone

I really like this one, if only because of the philosophy that it preached. The animation was very nice, especially how the blue clouds were made. It really hits you hard when you realize the person in this movie died at the age of 21. The flashback scenes were very nice, and it seemed like something from an old painting. You have taught us that we should always appreciate the people who come into our loves, as we won't have them forever. Thank you for spreading this warm and important message.

Jessismith responds:

Thanks man. That means a lot to me. Yeah, it's sad to think about. It's too bad we only get one chance at life, but at least there's still good that come after life. Well, I didn't mean for those to be flashbacks but shots of the afterlife. I should have made that clear, but I was animating directly to the song, so I guess the meaning could only be interpreted through the lyrics. Thank you so much for the insightful comment. I wanted to say just that. You never know how much you truly need someone until they're gone...for sure.

Nice text

I have to admit I don't like it when people submit one frame stuff to Newgrounds, especially on Clock Day. I hope you had a very happy Clock Day even though you are not a Clock yourself. I was impressed by the kind of text that was used. It looked like some ancient Roman or Greek thing or something and I haven't seen anything like that. At least you were able to be original and send something not everyone is familiar with. Speaking of which, I haven't seen the albatross skit, so I couldn't understand this thing at all.

SilentCobra responds:

Actually, the font is the Iron Maiden font. And yes, while I am not a clock crew member myself, I did have a rather nice clock day. I really did enjoy the "Life In The Portal: Clock Day" and the "Ruled By Clocks" submissions. Those are damn funny. Thanks for the review.
