The artwork is as fantastic as ever, but I couldn't really get this one. I imagine from this and your name that you are British. This just didn't seem to make any sense to me. Maybe if I understood Britain more, the satire could come off better. I'm fairly certain it's satire. I was pretty turned off by the fat green woman.

This reminds me of the "South Park" episode about the Kate Middleton wedding. It was something similar, only with Canada. Not saying you ripped them off, I just noticed this. I think there could have been more live-action/cartoon mixing in this. I am starting the recognize the characters.

teaandcheese responds:

Comments appreciated and yes we are British :D It might make more sense after you watch Part 2 of this episode: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/621963

Wow, this was one fascinating cartoon. I had no idea he would eat the poop at the end. Then again, anything that brightly colored should at least be looked close up. You didn't seem to really tell the origin of dubstep. It was already written on the bottle. I like how the wizard has this John Lennon voice.

The way the live-action effects work is as fantastic as ever. I wasn't that interested with the poop and fart stuff. It shouldn't be gone into poop. But still, it's very colorful and wonderfully detailed as it is. I can count on you on making unique stuff.

teaandcheese responds:

Good point about the 'origin' of dubstep, I guess Wizard just invented it one day :D
Thanks for your comment!

I thought this was a decent effort. I just failed to see a lot of good satire here. Are you British? I assumed this would be about the new baby the princess was having. I will admit that the animation was pretty good. I'm a bit confused now if you are a different person than Tim Urlacher.

At least I know Tim worked on this. There did seem to be some pretty steady movements in this. I couldn't find anything that foxy about it. Maybe you just need to draw more attractive women. I thought the boobs would be clickable, like in Epic Battle Fantasy.

Affinitia responds:

Well neither of us are British. My girlfriend Nikki who goes by the name "universalart" did the British accent for Dani Chung. This episode was also made about 2 to 3 weeks ago, we don't follow mainstream media or the news so we don't care or know about the princess and her baby? lol

Foxy Apartment is just the name of our show, I think it's really hard for people to understand that we just want an easy to remember name that applies to the animations we make. Foxy Apartment could very well be named "Party Pants Central" or "Bob's neighborhood".... you know?

I'm glad you like the animation and stuff. It was really fun to make and we'll probably do more of these. Next weeks episode is gonna be a music video and just like every episode of Foxy Apartment... it probably won't pertain much to the name. The name is like a brand. Although we like big boobs and will have more boobs in the future with this episode we really just wanted to make fun of how the news talks about celebrity's and gossip more than they do actual reporting.

So yes Affinitia = Tim Urlacher and universalart = Nikki E Poseidon. We live together, we have an office in our home, and we work on these episodes together on a daily basis. Really excited for next weeks Foxy Apartment music video that probably has more to do with birds than anything else...

When I first came across this, I thought it was going to be Resident Evil related. That seems like the automatic response on this website upon seeing that name. I think it would have been worse if it was. I was really intrigued by this. It seemed like you were trying to tell a really tender story here about a guy's girlfriend. It seems like it was the only rose on the planet.

I loved that giant worm thing. It reminded me of "The Empire Strikes Back". It's nice to have such a pleasant little story. I'm glad I came across it. It deserves its underratedness as being on the Top 50 of all time at the moment.

Noisy responds:

Naaah i don't think it deserve the top 50.
but i will do something that does in the future i guess.

thank you fella :3

I was quite impressed by this. I seem to be seeing a lot of incomprehensible stuff lately. I guess that's just what happens with Robot Day. I thought the CGI was freaking awesome! I was expecting more of a climax, but it's nice the whole way through. I like the name "Pip".

It reminds me of the MLP character or the lesser popular South Park character. It seems like you really went out of your way to create an amazing world. I think this will go big. I think there's just a lot of cool things going on. Congradulations on being the current thumbnail for Robot Day 2013.

Zictor responds:

Haha yeah I'm glad its the thumbnail! Thats really cool! :D

I know it seems pretty incomprehensible... but it has a simple concept "Do not press the button" this is why. You never know what it's going to do. So I got to make all kinds of different scenes and be pretty creative. I'd just go "I want an 8-bit section" and then do it... each one continues from the next...

I could have done all the ideas as sketches but I thought it was cooler to string them together into a story where the little robot can't figure out why he shouldn't press the Button! Check out the others. There are 6 other Pip cartoons!

Wow, that was one weird cartoon. I haven't seen the other two in the series, if they even exist. I thought it would have a lot more of a story. I assumed that this was actually an infomercial that someone was watching in-universe. I do have to give you credit for having some good animation. I just think you're better at serious stuff.

It is nice how you point out that this video makes no sense. Meta jokes can work like that. I was pretty much wondering everything he was talking about. It is nice to see you back to making cartoons. I was unsure of who you were because you changed your game to Affinitia, instead of TangledBlackHeart.

Affinitia responds:

Ohhhh! Yeah the other two episodes exist and have been uploaded to Newgrounds. We put a new episode out once per week. It's been an insane amount of hours crammed into spare time when I'm not working my fulltime "grown up" job. I literally miss entire nights of sleep on a regular basis to keep up with the schedule. It's a challenge and it's very enjoyable to complete each episode in a 6 to 7 day timespan. As for the Name change, BlackTangledHeart was the name I used on Newgrounds about 10 years ago. Affinitia is the name of my music project that was started in 2004 and it is most definitely the name that I am known for online. When I really started to get back into Newgrounds again I asked Wade Fulp to change my username to Affinitia so that I am properly representing myself across the web under one name. I may be "better" at serious flash, there's some serious projects that I'm working on too, but Foxy Apartment is meant to be fun and I'm no where near as depressed as I was when I went through my teenage years and made those animations from 2001-2003. Depression isn't part of my heart anymore so the music and animations I'm making are focused more on fun than anything else. My girlfriend and I are working on some other projects that will take more time to refine. Oh and Foxy Apartment has no story. It's just meant to be short skits of random things. You'll see some of the same characters from time to time but "who" the characters are doesn't really matter much. Thank you so much for watching and reviewing this, hope you can check out the other 2 episodes, and stay tuned for next week when we upload something completely different yet again.

I admit that I love this as much as everyone else. I think its biggest strength is how good the animation is. I didn't even think the guys in the meat place were that bad at first. They really do seem to be more evil when the shadowed boss appeared. Shadowed bosses are always trouble. The voice acting is great too.

I would love to see where this goes. It doesn't have much of a story to continue, but I don't care. I liked how he was willing to spare the other people after he killed the boss. Of course, they could have all just died when he blew the place up. This is truly an original idea. You deserve all the praise.

meridianisdead responds:

I have a lot of ideas for episodes :D And the guys who helped me on this project deserve praise as well.

When I first looked at this, I thought it was just going to be a bunch of blank spaces at first. I guess I'm glad it wasn't. It's hard to really know what to say about this. I had no idea you'd actually show most of that. You did eventually stop the film before he reached the end. There could have been something really cool happen at the end when that happened.

This music just suits everything so well. The turtle himself is drawn in a fairly good manner. He seems much like any other turtle. The grass is nice and green. You should have done it until he got to the other side.

Kwing responds:

I'm glad you liked the music.

I agree with most people that this is one of the best flash submissions ever made. I think it's mostly because I have no clue what's going to happen next. I thought that kid was just going to get himself raped at one point. I found myself rooting for him when he used his pickle. You know, I think I understand what a strap-on is. The funniest part was when the dad said he would fuck his wife again.

The voices and animation are absolutely fantastic. I get a feeling this is something that's going to change the world. Or at least this website. These really are good characters. It really isn't that silly and has actual character development. Yes, it's a sick world too.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

finally, 5 stars from ericho! after years of striving, of bitter disappointment, finally, five stars from the master reviewer. i am humbled.

Okay, my main complaint with this is that it goes on too long. I think it's the longest thing I've ever watched on the website since this new format was made. I appreicate you wanting to pay tribute to so many talented people. It's just that there should have been more motion. I know it's not about animation, but it would have been more entertaining. The voices are of course wonderful.

My favorite presenter was of course RicePirate. Speaking of prolific people, why wasn't Rina-chan involved in any of this? I don't see TomAto either (or however you say his name). I couldn't remember most of these flashes. As I have reviewed so many, I thought I would.

JaShinYa responds:

Yeah the video was actually a very last minute decision so the artist really pushed it out as fast as she could. We're planning on doing this again for the next contest, but will have a lot more prep time and therefore better stuff! Rina and Tomamoto weren't asked to do this because they never were involved with the contests (at least not since I've been doing them). Ricepirate entered in VAC7 and is obviously a great talent and all around cool guy as well which is why he was in this. Thanks for the review and I hope you like it better next time around!

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
