16 bit?

I really have no idea what this is from, but it's certianly great to look at. True powerful artwork is something that anyone can appreciate no matter what the source material. It really does seem like you drew this entire thing simply from looking at that single sprite. The detail is wonderful in this. If I was a bit more familiar with it, I might have liked it more, but it's still great. It's nice to see a person like you who really experiments with different kinds of stuff.

I don't recall designs similar to this appearing in any of your other artworks. It's great how well you define the shading. It makes you realize how important shading is to a great drawing, even if the original is done in sprite form. I like how his eyes make him look so stupid. You certainly have a creative talent with this guy.

Here's your score

I wish I had some idea what causes certain submissions to have no ratings on them. Of course, we always have the reviews! I thought this was kind of one of your weaker entries, but it's still well done. Its strongest point is probably how you use these sketches so well. It reckons back to the old days in the Renaissance period where people like Leonardo Da Vinci showed off their art work. Hey, we're the modern day Leonardos!

It would have worked better if there was more background. Then again, that was more of the point with the sketches. The colors are pretty well done and I really understand where you're coming from with this. The bright yellow colors are easily the most elaborate. It doesn't really seem so steampunk, more like standard fantasy.

MindChamber responds:

The reason some submissions have no score is because its submitted as a "sketch" or WIP. so its not officially in the Art portal.

thanks for the review

Wha?

I have no idea what you were trying to make, but this is freaking awesome! I have little idea as to what is going on in this amazing picture, but I don't care. I had no idea something called assorted jellybeans could be so ridiculously awesome! It looks like the Ghostbusters are in this scene. Whatever monster they're trying to fight, it sure is being destroyed in an awesome way! I'm just going to go out on a limb and say that's the Stay Puft Marshmellow Man.

I don't know what jellybeans would have to do with Ghostbusters. All I do know is that this is really really sweet! There are explosions and a wonderful arrangement of colors in practically every part of this masterpiece! This is truly a website that shows how creative we can all be. The busters themselves look like monsters with their monstrous sharp teeth. Teeth and claws were always something I loved in drawings.

Flawless!

This is probably the best Megatron picture I've ever seen. I'm not a fan of the series (although I know as much about it as most popular franchises) but this is great to look at. I just love how there is such a fantastic amount of detail and style put into this masterpiece. Every single part of this picture has something screaming out in detail. It looks like his thorax is showing off his ribs, if that's possible for a robot to have. It makes me realize how much art this series has inspired.

I even love how the background and all of the objects around are very well detailed. It gives off the good sense of being in a strange world that's under attack. I love the lengthy description. It truly shows that you are able to tell a story even if it's just one picture. Everything about this is awesome and I love emphasis on machinery. According to the stratches, he's killed about fifteen autobots.

Yeah, she's hot

As much as I love Yoko['s body], I think this could have been a bit better. I guess it's mostly because Yoko just looks kind of weird in this with the expression on her face. Of course, it's still a great picture. It's particularly good how you get a shot of her breasts bobbing up so well. Everything about this character (and the series she came from) is just amazing. It's really saying something when a character's gun is longer than her own body.

It makes you realize how many little details there are about her. Like how on one hand she has a longer gloved one than the other. Fans of the series (as well as pinup calendars) are sure to enjoy this. The shading is well done in this, especially with her eyes. It's simply a series so awesome its elements will never be forgotten.

How sweet

I really like how this picture has a good sense of hominess to it. Gee, I bet you haven't heard that phrase not being used as a slang term before, huh? Anyway, this is good to look at. It's especially cool because it doesn't try to be elaborate or flashy or anything, just show something realistic. I like how it is so easy to see all of the individual markings on the picture. It really makes you appreciate the work and effort that goes into a drawing.

It's nice to look at something that has such a good state of modesty. This looks very realistic, although I don't know if it was based on anyone. If it was, I'm sure that person appreciates this very much. I love how you get to do so much shading with the streaks. I can tell her eyes are meant to be the focus, given the picture's title.

Ah ha, sweet!

Here's another great art piece from you. It really makes me glad to be someone who looks at all of your stuff. I think the strongest part about this is probably how pathetic the creature looks like while it's being destroyed. It is hard to feel something for something that is so ugly. It has a really nice cartoonish feel to it while still seeming hardcore. It looks like a Creature From The Black Lagoon-esque character.

I also like how you are showing motion through the throwing of the sword. There's a great amount of detail put into everything. Rednecks would probably know more about killing wild things than anyone else in the country. It looks like the monster is trying to summon some magic or something with his hand. It's also missing an eye.

It's brilliant!

I guess it's only because I'm listening to a "Star Wars" song right now, but this reminds me of SW. It's just unbelievable how good you managd to make this. Only now am I noticing the little figure at the bottom middle part of the picture. This artwork is so good it seems like something from "Knights Of The Old Republic". I just love the utter craftmanship that was used in this. Granted, it wasn't actually built, but it sure looks like it.

You're a true credit and treasure to all science fiction fans. It just seems like you could write an entire book based on this. I guess it's because I've seen a lot of books with amazing covers. There's just such a wonderful arrangement of shapes and colors in this, it's so cool to look at. May you continue to grace us with your magnificance.

A bit strange

What I found weird about this was that it looked barely like Joe Zombie. Then again, it's been the longest time since I've seen the original cartoons. I do have to give you credit because you seemed to be trying to make an interesting take on this character. I especially like how all of his facial expressions are really exaggerated. And this is from a character that doesn't have ears or a nose! The background is pretty decent.

I seem to hear little about this character nowadays. It's nice to see people remembering him, even if this was made back in 2009. The teeth might be the best part as they really show off his insanity. As a stick figure, it's not expected for a character to be detailed like this. This was fairly unique even if it wasn't the best.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
