Very nice

This was a very satisfying song to listen to, because it just had so much going for it! I just find it hilarious that it was used in a game called "Throw Rocks At Shit". This is great because it starts off extremely soft and finally goes into an uproar! The uproar does not really start until the last minute, which is really my only complaint. There are times where it is so soft it's hard to listen to it. That is a compliment as it shows how subtle you can be with your music.

It reminds me of the classic music by those old composers. I thought of that also because you have an old timey photo as your icon picture. It's great to know of someone who enjoys that classic stuff but still knows how to appeal to the masses. While I was anticipating the harder stuff, the lighter stuff was a bit more classy. The notes are all quite adequate.

What a song

I kept thinking this was something from "Megaman" but that was only because you have a Megaman picture for your icon. That being said, it was hard to come up with what this was supposed to be because the description was a bit vague. What was truly awesome is that this is just a song that has a ton of heart to it. It does kind of make you think of a technological setting. I guess the title kind of made me think of vampires. I now understand what you mean when you intend it to be epic.

It keeps up its pace for the full four minutes and never seems to let down. This song is indeed not very complex when compared to some other stuff, but it's still great. The style is consistent with how it gives off a sense of escalated music. It gives off a great sense of adventure and a little bit of wonder as well. It sends itself off at the end so well too.

It's not bad

I am not quite sure what MSC1 stands for, but I think it has something to do with the Metal Gear Solid series. The main flaw with this is that it comes off as a little repetitive. If you want to make something original, try to put more variety into it. It's still entertaining because it has the classic feel of heavy rock the whole time. I know little about making music so I don't know if it was made with an actual guitar. I like how it just goes off so quickly at the end.

Those kinds of guitar tunes are so good it's hard to make them uncool. This certainly seems like something that could be in a fight scene. I guess I have seen so many stick flashes, I just think of one when I envision this as a cartoon. It does manage to go through some change for being only two minutes long. It's not the most unique, but definitley not terrible.

It turned out wonderful

I am very familiar with the stuff by ParagonX9, so I was able to recognize this well. The coolest thing was how this had such a good strong spirit to it. It tried to put real emotion but still had a technological feeling to it! You seldom see a good combination used like that. It makes me envision a great journey or perhaps a futuristic city. Of course, the futuristic cities we think of in fantasy will probably never become reality, anyway.

Full length songs are the best because they have to be good enough to keep you interested the whole time. I could just imagine every single note being stamped down here. It doesn't come off as too forceful as it has a joyous tone to it. I like how there are stages like the stronger ones or the parts that build up to a change in the song. It's the kind of song you can even relax to.

Lives up to its name

I suppose it's been awhile since I saw the flash "The YuYu" but this is still a very nice song to listen to. This reminds me of the original Irish sounding tunes. You never would have thought Irish tunes would be combined with heavy metal! It's nice this got some recognition and now that I listen to it more, it seems to remind me of pirate music. I guess the pictures of the entires it was heard in seem like pirate submissions. The best thing is that it builds up after starting a bit softer.

Of course, even a softer note for heavy metal is still crazy! It gets a little redundant, but it still manages to keep enough variety to make the listener interested for three minutes. That's fairly long for a song here. The tone seems to be one of adventure or on a great journey. It's easy to envision that with any kind of heavy metal.

rtnario responds:

Oh, you just don't know the entire subgenre of folk metal waiting to be heard! And yes, there is even a pirate metal band if you must know. It's called Alestorm if you're interested.

Well, even though NG Audio is free for everyone to just put anything, I'm sure the people who want to stand out are the people who will work really hard on songs regardless of length and make sure that others will enjoy it as much as they did creating it! Glad it makes you imagine many things, and thanks for listening :D

Soft and hard

I think this was a really cool thing to listen to because there were times that it was hard and times it was soft. That is pretty impressive, considering it is only 25 seconds long! It seems like you used the xylophone to create most of the sounds for this. This was great to listen to because it's the kind of song you can hear over and over and can still leave you anxious. I am guessing the tone was one of action, but also one of subtlety. You do not need see that in a lot of songs on Newgrounds or most other places.

Woah!!

Dude, I think being used in 71 entries may in fact be a record for the most entries in a single song! I knew it sounded familiar. I had heard it on this website so many times it seemed like it belonged to some internet meme like "All Your Base". My only problem is that it does take a little while to get revved up. The ending is however, classic, and it's great that you have managed to create something so popular. I wish I knew more about the statistics of the audio portal and I am glad I got to review this signficant piece!

It seems familiar

I kept thinking this was a remix of some other song I had heard, but it does sound original. This was great to listen to because it takes a truly talented person to create a song that lasts seven minutes long. Pretty much anything that long is good if it is worth listening to. This did come off as more of a journey than a simple trance tune. While you do not describe this song as having a story, I can imagine how it could. It sort of gives off a technological beat as well as an optimistic one.

Good and slick

I am not sure if I know much about the original song, but whatever it was, this was a fantastic tribute. This has a really good sense of hope and joy and really elevates a person's spirit. It is not a tone of humor or action and certainly not despair. It has the tone of going out and causing change in the world and being thankful for all we have. The little bumps in this are great too.I guess I wish I would have heard this around Thanksgiving or something, but Christmas is coming up and that's kind of a similar holiday.

=D Thank you very much Ericho

commentaries like yours is why I make music for =)

Quite hypnotic

This was a really cool song to listen to, because it had such a great spirit to it. It was hard to pinpoint the exact thing, it was like you were just trying to confuse the listener. The best part is how it consistently keeps up its insanity. I could have sworn that I heard some music that was from the "Matrix" movies used in this. It is the sort of song that can go with really any surrealist work that focuses on action. When I think of a "sick" song, I usually think of something disgusting, but what do I know?

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
