Another great one!

I really like how you put in a description even if that isn't what I'm looking for in an audio submission. You have managed to fit the theme you were looking for quite well. I thought this gave off a good spirit of wonder and an epic journey. I liked all of the uses of the instruments in this one. Seeing as how you have such a long story, you should put this stuff into a flash to make it truly good. It's great that you can not just make great music, but be able to put some real emotion and a story to it. It was simply a peaceful song.

Great song

I was very impressed by this. Even though this wasn't used in as many entries as a lot of other stuff, it turned out to be something very nice. I would think I would be able to recognize the instruments being used, but I couldn't even tell this was drum and bass. All of the tunes are great, especially the ominous echo it sends after awhile. It gives off a tone of adventure or simply craziness. All in all, this was an original kind of song and was definitley flashy enough to enjoy and recommend.

Awesome song!

That "Fear The Night" flash sure has the best music to go with it. I enjoyed every second of this, and I especially appreciate the more ambitious themes you put into it. It kind of seemed like it was about a haunted house, but really tried to be more adventerous and wondering. It would be great for a game or really any adventure like theme. I love how the beats rise and fall over time. While it didn't really give me a feeling of fear as it did action, this was a fantastic submission and I hope to check out your future work!

thanks dude! I'm glad you enjoyed it. and I agree that it doesn't give off fear so much as angst I suppose, but the title fit in my opinion still. thanks for the review!

Houston?

I congradulate you on moving to Houston and any other personal triumphant experiences you may have had lately. I was impressed at how well this was paced. It was hard to discover the theme or tone, but it was certainly something awesome! I guess it was more of a futuristic punk beat than anything else to me. I love this style of music and thank you for showing me more of it. Also congradulations on being Tom Fulp's new #1 spot for best audio submission!

LollipopNightmare responds:

Oh wow, Thanks! ^,^

I'm actually in Seattle now. I've moved around so much lately, but I think I'm in Washington to stay. I've been working on some new stuff lately, so keep an ear out.

Thank you again for your comment.

Very nice

I knew I had heard this before and I have as Momentum Missile Mayhem is one of my favorite games (I have a lot of course). I was very impressed at how this lived up to exactly what it was supposed to be. You don't need to have a lot of action or crazy stuff going on to make something good. The use of instruments was nice too. I thought it was funny how this has been used in more action games, although probably as menu music. It does indeed loop as do most (if not all) of the audio stuff here anyway.

SolusLunes responds:

And there's an extended version! :D

I guess it could be appropriate

I'm glad you admitted this wasn't supposed to be like anything at all and could have a lot of uses. It made me think of beeping noises, which I'm used to hearing from you. It was pretty cool how it did not get annoying after hearing it several times. As you might expect I'd say, it does like variety, but it works fine as a beat. I'm very honored to have seen all of your flash and audio work. It is such a pity that you've been gone from this website (at least from making things) so long; we'd love to have you back!

Freestyle?

It would have helped if there was some music being made with instruments, but this was still pretty funny. I believe that this was supposed to be a parody as it seems too silly not to be. Even if it wasn't, at least I was able to enjoy it in the best way I could find possible. I must say, this may in fact be the first time you used your voice in this. It helps that you have (or at least used) a really funny voice. The funniest part was probably "ding-dong, not penis or something" and the sugar hangover thing.

It is like a violin!

Well, this may in fact be the shortest audio submission at four seconds I have ever reviewed. That being said, I think this did a very good job of sounding just like an annoying violin. I'm no violinist, but I think this was accurate and it probably was used with an actual violin. I guess it's not something you could put to something really long, but it's more of a sound effect than an actual piece of music. There's no rule that says you can't submit sound effects to the audio portal! You have certainly shown that you can work with different things.

Maybe your best!

I'm not sure if this is better than the second triangle version of the banana song, but it's close! It was fun listening hard to notice the little tappings on the wood (or whatever that was supposed to be) that I heard. It sounded a lot like a flute being sung and if it was, then I would have to say you're a good flute player. I think this wasn't so much scary (for a horror movie) as it was strange. As you yourself say, strange was really more of the goal of this song anyway.

Very bouncy!

This was something that while listening to it, I got the feeling of bouncy stuff, especially balls. It works well with its description of being happy. While it may be a little repetitive, it's at least fairly short and manages to keep the listener entertained for awhile. I'm starting to notice that most of your stuff has that little send off at the end. It's just sad that you haven't submitted a flash to this website when you made so many before. At least I have music like this to enjoy.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
