A different kind of game

The weirdest part about this was how it sent a peaceful message. I was expecting an option where you could kill Dumbledore at the end. It's so great to know there are people like you making awareness of this. I guess killing everyone will probably only cause more trouble. In fact, I imagine it's something you could also go to jail for, which is generally frowned upon in society. At least I got to use a chainsaw!

There's not much else to this, but of course, there wasn't supposed to be. I appreciated you wanting to go out and send a message like this. I like the music at the end. The graphics, what little there are, are actually pretty good. I assumed there'd at least be a few Congressman smart enough not to vote in fear of being killed.

First review for a game with medals?

You'd think more people would flock to this, but I kind of doubt it because this game is so freaking hard! Everything was just perfect on the first four levels. The fifth level, however, was simply unbeatable! I tried as hard as I could to get a strategy and nothing seemed to work at all! There must be something that I'm missing on that level. At least some people have found a way to get past it and stuff.

Now for the positives, the graphics are actually pretty nicely done. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to move all the tiles on the fifth level but I could. Granted, as you might assume, that didn't do anything to help me. The music is decent and sends off a good sense of being in an Indiana Jones like world. The appearance of the character certainly does.

Should have a higher score

It's nice that you managed to create something so authentic to the original "Angry Birds" game. We should have a category listing all tributes to that game here. What I found to also be cool was how good the graphics were. I have played games like this before, but this seemed to have the best gameplay. It's also nice that you included the sound effects and music as well. It does get pretty difficult as it goes on.

At least you were kind enough to give us a medal for every level we completed. It's stuff like that that gives you the sense of having a lot of time to do something. I also liked how it didn't go to the next level right away. I'm guessing all catapult games are going to be compared to "Angry Birds", nowadays. I doubt it was the first of its kind.

Great game!

It takes awhile to get used to the jumping automatically, but it's well worth it. I didn't like it how you had to figure out how to use the Z and X letters to fight at first. Still, I'm being nitpicky. The graphics in this are great and it's nice to see some familiar faces both in game and the creators. The sound effects are really good and give you a sense of being on a great adventure. It paces itself very well, too.

It's most satisfying how those pigs and things die with one hit. I'm surprised this doesn't have a higher score, given how popular you guys are. I thought the cutscenes at the beginning were pretty nice too. The music is also great for setting a medieval atmosphere. It's a game where you can really go out and explore a new world.

Very unique game

I'm going to admit that I couldn't really understand how to play this game, but it's still a very cool thing to play. It's mostly because you really did go out of your way to make this different than other games. The coolest thing was probably how good the graphics are. There wasn't that much movement, but it simply looked great overall. Music is something people seem to take for granted. While not the best rythum game, definitley worth playing.

It was weird to see a puzzle game combined with a rythum game or whatever they are called. It's also great to see how organized everything looks. The instructions do seem to go on a bit too long. Well, you can skip it pretty fast by just clicking on everything. I appreciate you working on something that seems to be really cultured.

Has its good and bad points

I think the weakest thing about this is how the graphics are not that good. I have played games like this and not really been interested because it was too bland. Now, this does have some good color effects, but that's really it. I wish you would have put more detail into the drawings so the finished product would look better. I don't really understand how it was supposed to be that appealing. I guess it was a good idea to have so many medals.

That music is a bit too overused on this site, I think. It just seems like there wasn't anything that original. It was just some blue block guy jumping around. I admit that the game wasn't too frustrating or anything, but you need a lot more to be appealing. The backgrounds should especially have more detail and there should be more emphasis on shading.

telinc1 responds:

1) I know this. That's why in my upcoming game, some of the graphics will be made in Photoshop. Thank you for telling me that!

2) I also know about the music. From now on, I use video game songs.

Hard to dislike

Well, thank you for creating the game that sets the record for easiest medal to get! Or should I say, the easiest way to get all the medal(s) in a game. It looks like all the games are starting with rewarding medals with that new screen thing popping up. It's a pretty cool effect. What was frustrating was how it was annoying with the first level being so easy and then on the second level you had to work so hard to get all the dang robots.

At least it's satisfying when you finally topple those buggers. I couldn't really understand the notion of using an "X" as the main thing. It was a fairly non-sequitor game. If this is in fact just a demo like the medal says, then I would be eager to play the final version of this game. I wish they would die easier when they get hit.

jomarcenter responds:

mostly we make the game a lot harder... we will added different gravity system, portals, etc... so the final version may be epic....
(with added weekly level updates)
and mostly the people who get this only medal for version 0.1 - 1.0...
so if the game reached version 1.1 you cannot get this medal anymore...
but we have plan to add more medal...
spoiler: used power-ups medal

So right

It is awesome that you made a game about SOPA. Now the game itself isn't that good, but it doesn't matter at all. What matters is that you are the first person on this website to show true interest in this bad situation. It's hard to recommend anything to be improved, because it is what it is. The best thing is probably that the gameplay actually is fairly similar to the game. And I thought it was bad how everything was a Censored bar.

Is everything in this game supposed to be genitals or something? I guess they're afraid that the image of Mario will offend Italians. Maybe him eating mushrooms offends people allergic to them. This is a great demonstration of the power of the people. I am glad everyone is going up against this, like Anonymous, TGWTG, Wikipedia, etc.

The bouncing is good

There's not that much to say besides it works pretty well for what it is. I admit that it's a pretty cool idea to have powerups for a game about keeping a soccer ball up in the air. The best part is probably how good the graphics are. Everything looks really slick in this. Soccer is probably my favorite team sport, particularly because it's one that I'm fairly good at. I can't really recommend you adding more things because it's pretty much just fine the way it is.

Hello down there, XwaynecoltX! The music was pretty decent and I think there was some nice heart put into this. The sounds are nice, even if the only sound effects are those of you clicking the ball to keep it up. People who are bigger fans of soccer would probably enjoy this more. It's something that you might use for a quick play.

Can't hate it

I am in fact a fan of shooting games, but this one didn't entertain me as much as I thought it would. It's hard to hate on it, because it does have a lot of good things about it. What I liked most was how slick the graphics were. It's especially cool to see how well the targets go up. The only irritating thing was that I swear I hit on the bullseye a few times and it said I didn't. At least my score was pretty consistent with how well I hit it.

It seems like it would appeal to someone who is a fan of shooting targets. I have never done hunting or anything like that in real life. I have played a few hunting games, but those are better because you get to hit moving targets. I am fairly good at this, and probably too good to even enjoy it. It's fine for a quick little play.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
