[Escape Pico's Mansion]

Great point and click stuff

This is one of my favorite submissions for Halloween 2009. Everything is done at a seemingly low pixel resolution, but that does not take away from any of the fun really. In case anybody wants some hints, you die by choking on the one candy piece that is on the medal. I have recieved every single medal and as a prolific reviwer, that is quite special for me! I like how it is a faithful tribute to Tom Fulp's original Pico games. No guns or stuff blowing up, just some familiar ground and funny costumes.

[The Gun Game]

Lives up to its name

Of all the stuff featuring guns you see in gaming, it is interesting to find one that does not actually involve killing. I admire this a lot because there is just no bull crap. You have tons of things to do, but they are all layed out in a very simple fashion. I love to watch the little things like how funny it is when the gun reloads. I think my favorite bit would be the Challenge part, because it is the most creative. The way the gun moves and everything even manages to be an original feature here on Newgrounds.

Got every medal!

I really enjoyed this, especially as it has some of the most unique animation I have seen in a game! There were just so many things to do for fun, like hit people with your slingshot. The characters look like their heads are made of potato chips, which is a compliment, BTW. I think it knows how to fit the theme of the original fairy tale genre. That is, it is really good with the grainy design and the way it is designed. I liked how it is also large in size so it gives you a lot of room to journey on.

Hey, I rated it the same thing it had!

First, the good points. I admired the sound in this and how it all fit together and how there were certainly a lot of designs and things to choose from. While it is not as popular as something like "Drag Racer" it is actually very detailed in its own right. The weak points were that the gameplay with the actual racing was not done that well. It may have been something that I was just missing, but I did not seem to do much at all, really. I assume that driving over the white line in the MPH thing was wrong.

Hard but good

I am always looking for creative games to play and this fits the bill well. I really had no idea what was going on at first, especially with how I did not bother to read the instructions. There is just so much going on, and yet the game can be beaten rather easily if you know how to play it. I like the little silly sounds it makes when you flip the things around. It lives up to its name as it is pretty fast paced the more you play it. It might take me awhile to understand the best strategy, but it is something I would recommend.

Good and hard

Given the fact that the graphics are so simplistic, I was not expecting this to be hard at all. The graphics are of course the weakest point of it all, as they are not that detailed. I was going to rate this lower because I did not understand why there was so much blank space. It was pretty cool to have it fit out the black space as the game went on. The music is fine, but can get a little monotonous. The hardest part is that it is difficult to determine just how far away you have to be in order to ensure survival.

So cool

I have always been interested in figuring out brain puzzles and stuff. A lot of times I got the answers right simply because I knew it was going to be something unlikely. The weak point about this was that the animation was mediocre at best. It also would have helped a lot if there was some sound or a song to it. It is still good to play, because the questions are just so fun. I especially want to get the answer right just so I can have it explained to me, in case I was just lucky one of the times.

Not bad at all!

It does give off the feeling that it did not take much effort, but I thought this was the best thing the Kitty Krew ever made! It helps that I just love adorable little animals, especially cats. The wierd frog at the end was something that I should have seen coming. One complaint is that it omitted the normal opening, which would have made it better. You guys are obviously not intending on going something great, but are good for a cheap joke. At least you did not show a disgusting image at the end.

[Star Kirby Brick War]

Great physical game!

I loved playing this, and I think it is in fact the best Kirby game I have ever played on Newgrounds! I thought at first you had to make sure that Kirby did not touch the ground or you would die, but it was easier than that! You get to have tons of freedom with putting that rainbow line everywhere. Kirby just looks cute bouncing around everywhere. I never played the Kirby games myself, and this one is not even like the games! You have such a pleasant and cheery atmosphere to such a fun game.

Pretty mediocre

I have been as much of a fan of Tetris as the next guy, so this was at least loyal the style. My biggest complaint is that some of the graphics are a little cheesy. It was not that original, but I can not blame you for wanting to imitate such a popular game. It was cool how you had in all the original music, especially how it really got good after awhile. I suggest that you work more with Flash and use some better effects. It is not terrible, but with something as legendary as Tetris, it does need some work.
