Not the worst thing

I have to give you some credit for coming up with something that actually was a bit fun to play. It was nice how you were able to turn off the sound as the music did get annoying. The biggest problem with this is that the graphics are just not that good. You still managed to be pretty creative, with all the ways of hiding the green button (or object). I got as far as the Newgrounds level. It is pretty nice how it is unpredictable as to what will happen in the next level, and it is not all that simple to play.

mothballs responds:

Thanks man, that's good to know. Graphics don't really matter to me, I like to stress a point that
Gameplay > Graphics. But I think I should have made it a little longer, that's all.

Sonic Boom!

It was great to see a tribute with this name that was actually about Sonic and used actual cannons. The opening cut scene was really cool and I proably would have been satisfied if that was all it was! There are really a ton of things going on in this game that all work well. I do have the problem of not being able to advance as hitting "Continue" just brings me a refreshed page. It helps that you are using some of my favorite Sonic music and still have lots of variety. All the sprite work is nice and flows together well.

Xanadu32 responds:

I did rather enjoy making that opening cut scene X)
Im not sure what you mean by 'refreshed page' when you press the continue button. I designed it (with probably in not the best context) to function as a 'next' button of sorts if you are playing a game and you press back to the main menu. its so you dont have to press new game or load and lose what ever progress you had made that session.
Anyways, thanks for playing~

I do like basketball

Well, maybe I do not like it that much, but I definitley have a brother who is (or at least was) a super basketball fanatic. I did not understand what the chattering teeth had to do with anything. You might want to work on having the medals being displayed here. Anyway, the music was nice and it was great you used so much stuff for it. The animation is simple, but because the premise is so simple, I think it really works out. Of course, it also helps that with a lot of determination, it is fairly easy to get far in this game.

Sajyd responds:

Yes. With determination, you can easly bring the 100,000 score but it's not pretty simple. For the medals. I'va contacted administrators and community managers but I don't know why they don't respon to my message. I've contacted also other authors how putted the medals in them games but no respons again. Thanks for your review !

Simple at least

I thought the graphics in this were really good. The only problem is that with a point and click adventure game as short as this, it is hard for me to advance that far. I can still appreciate this for having the failing medal being a good 10 points! The controls were at least pretty easy to use, especially considering you had so little to work with. I keep trying to put the coin in the slot, but when I hit "use" or whatever, nothing seems to work. This was made with good intentions and is definitley nice enough to have medals here on this site.

JackSmack responds:

To use an item you have to click on it in your inventory. If you try to use the coin slot without actually choosing the coin it won't work.

I can't really make it work with just use either because you should be able to use all the items in your inventory on any object not just the one that works.

Still I'm glad you liked the game and it is really short and I think that is actually a good thing because it's important to leave the audience wanting more.

I will be making more games like this in the future. I have several projects in my pot right now that I need to finish first, but you can count on more like this eventually.

It is difficult

I was never a fan of the "Bionic Commando" games, but this was a pretty fun thing to play. I did not like how it took so darn long for the dialogue to finish. At least you have wonderful sounds that seem just like something on a Game Boy or something. I especially like how you are so literally flexible and can be really nimble. Even when I die, it is kind of funny, because I keep hitting the dangerous balls as I fall down. While hard to play, it is certainly worth a look, because it is so authentic.

MrPodunkian responds:

if you enjoy this game, you should REALLY try to play through the bionic commando: rearmed, or the original bionic commando on the NES.

Has its moments

I thought this was okay at best, because it did seem to have more style than the previous games. My biggest complaint is that the animation and effects are still pretty primitive. I am sorry that you do not have Flash Player (if you actually do not), but maybe you should try to get it. The best design was probably the eye monster in the beginning. I loved how it was changed to "F*ck-et" for the medal name as it reminded me of the Mr. Bucket commercials. I had no idea how to solve the gum level.

BanglaBoy96 responds:

:) Thanks for the review on this flash too. You're the only person it's worth taking feedback from seeing how others cannot review for their lives

Very bland

It is still fun to see the little 0 pt things to show up on the screen even though they do not mean everything. It would have been nice if you could have the medals on the screen like other games. This still did a pretty good job of being something easy and pointless. The weakest part is how bad the graphics are, as you should try to use the most recent Flash Player programs. I knew there was going to be a medal for quitting. Hey, I get just as many medal points for playing it as I do not playing it!

BanglaBoy96 responds:

:) Thanks for the review! :) It is a bad game I know, the 2nd game I ever made

That is strange

I have to admit that this is a very educational game to play. I managed to get the "Easily" ending, not that there is much difference for an ending anyway. I doubt I will ever be stuck on a desert island, but I do believe these are helpful hints to have. I was kind of hoping there would be more gameplay, but we can not always have games like that. It was a pretty original game, but the play is so different it takes some getting used to. I also liked the jungle music that played throughout this.

Lare responds:

You should play The Secret of Monkey Island. For multiple reasons.

Oh, it was cancer

I was wondering why everybody turned green when you hit them. For being something of such low quality, it actually did get kind of challenging the more it went on. I think the funniest part is how the stick figures scream when they die. It sounds like you used stock sounds of Sam Kinison or something. The weakest part is that there just really needed to have more work put into the graphics and quality. I love games that have waves, but this did not even seem to give you a reward for kills or anything.

SHUT THE FUCK UP
