[The Black Fighter]

Very black

I would have been satisfied if you had shown that guy getting killed by the skateboard in the beginning and be done with it, but this was great! I never even thought of the stick figures as being black, as most of them are in fact, black. My favorite part was probably when the fighter was dodging the bullets. It was also nice to use two different environments, even if they weren't detailed much. This had all of the violence you would expect from a standard stick flash. I'd like to see ones about a green or purple fighter.

Nice prank

That seemed to be a bit too simple even by stick figure standards. I was, impressed at how funny this prank turned out to be. I had never wondered what half of cheese would be like before. For the simplistic animation, it does give a good representation of the people on the phone and their expressions and activities. I liked the picture of the pig with the apple that kept appearing. I guess I'm just not a guy who's into prank calls, unless of course, they use celebrity soundboards.

How useful

I probably only like this because that really would be the perfect product or at least a good one. I couldn't help but be reminded of David Firth when I was watching this. Only the animation and voicework wasn't quite as good. That isn't to say this didn't have its merits, but it could have used some more detail and it was a little annoying how the lines seemed to be all squiggly. It did, however, give off the idea that you were using a style of your own, even if that was probably unintentional. I'd suggest working on moving effects.

[Freedom Flakes]

Hilarious

It's great to know we had find quality flashes this far back. I was extremely impressed by the animation and especially with how stupid the kids looked in this cartoon. My favorite part is, without a doubt, the part where the kid doesn't find the WMD's and how they were freed. I'm glad you got some recognition with this, even if this didn't win any awards. Sugary cereals are a great example of American culture anyway. What makes this even funnier is that you're apparently Canadian.

I'm...gonna kill you

You seriously made that in only ten minutes?! I was expecting it to be pretty choppy, but it turned out to be pretty funny, even if the animation wasn't that great. I liked how you could hear that great Sonic music in the background. What makes this particularly funny is how quickly the characters talk and their mouths move. I kept thinking it was going to stop abruptly, but it managed to hold out until the final punchline. A great way to end something brief is with blood and violence!

[DumbassDude Short ep 1]

How mediocre

I remember seeing you on the forums, DumbassDude, so it's cool to review one of yout submissions! I'd have to say that the animation was really good, but it needed more of a punchline. It would have been funnier to show the stick guy actually falling off the stairs. I liked how not only was his head shaped square, but so was everything in the house. I guess that judging by the name, this was supposed to be really dumb. I especially like how the trees were drawn in the beginning.

I was 13 at the time and I couldn't really use flash at all, I could only 'draw' so to speak. I remember not knowing how I would go about animating him falling down the stairs, so doubting my abilities, I just decided to do a black out instead. Ha.

[The Orphan: Part 2]

The animation was perfect

I don't remember the first one, but this is a fantastic addition to the site simply because of how sweet the effects were! Everything just seems to be done wonderfully and it has a great original feeling to it! My only complaint is that I would have liked it if there was some dialogue, even if it was just the guy talking to himself. I loved the scene at the end with that monster in the background. I was expecting a big screamer or something like that at the end. It's a very interesting and well crafted cartoon.

You are dead

It's very strange as out of all the reviews I have written, I have never written one for somebody who is dead. I can't talk directly to the author or expect a response ever as it is impossible to get one. This was really too short and did not have much going for it. The animation isn't terrible, but I prefer the longer stuff made by Livecorpse. I'm glad he just left so much work behind for us to look at and review. The music was nice in that it was pretty eerie even though the flash itself was kind of pointless.

Now that was weird

Call me silly, but it was really funny when that girl acted so dumb about being beat up and blood everywhere. She didn't change emotion the entire time, even when killing people. As this is a prelude, I guess she's going to turn out to be a robot or alien or something. I could swear that's Rina-chan doing her voice. Of course, if you go on Newgrounds long enough, you tend to think every female voice is done by Rina-chan. The action and animation were done in a very nice style and it was quite unpredictable.
