[NYC NG Meetup 2011]

That was disturbing

This started out really good, but the end didn't do it much justice. I didn't know you would randomly show pictures of sh*t in the toilet and Courage Wolf, whoever that wolf is. The song that you parodied was actually really well done. That's a very pleasant show by itself and it's cool to see someone put a dark turn on it. Maybe it got too dark at the end. It's always great to see what the high ranking people do in their spare time.

It makes me wish I could attend something like this. Everyone just seems to be having so much fun, or at least as much fun as they would any other place. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Hispanic guy's Luis. Everyone is still presented in a very ordinary manner. As a prolific reviewer on this website, I would know that a regular's no different than anyone else.

[Fire Flower Folly]

Short?

Dude, that was in no way a short because it was at least two minutes long and had tons of variations! In case anyone's wondering, there's a total of 20 different parts. The saddest part was when it ended. Of all the submissions that feature the Mario characters doing stuff like this, I think this was my favorite. The sprite work was just so wonderfully done! Everything had a perfect sense of fluidiness in the animation. You had no idea what would happen next.

I think my favorite would probably be the one where the alien bursts out of his chest. I am so glad it kept going on with more ridiculous things. You also really know how to go out with a bang. There was puking, gender transforming, farting, an army of koopas and every other crazy thing you could think of! It took real creativity and maybe some drugs to come up with this. It's also great how everything moves so fast.

Really well done

Probably the only reason I didn't like this more was because I think you might have stolen my idea! As a big fan of the episode "Time Enough At Last", I have played out a similar scenario in my head. I, myself, would want nothing more than to just go on the Internet forever. Then again, if I was the last man on Earth, there would be no one to make any new ones or moderate the websites. The animation in this was just plain fantastic.

I was in no way expecting that twist at the end as the ending itself seemed like a twist enough. It seems like people should make more "Twilight Zone" parodies. You deserve your Daily Feature for this year's Clock Day. The lack of emotion in the voices (as usual) made it pretty entertaining. It took me awhile to understand the "Clocklight" title pun.

Congradulations!

I imagined that the Clock Day submissions would all be really high, as I thought that was the day everyone got 5's. Still, I have to congradulate you on having the highest rated flash for Clock Day 2011. The animation could be better, but everything else is great. I espeically liked seeing the frowny faces getting whipped. This seems like something from the movie "The Ten Commandments". It just seems like I would know as it's one of my favorite movies.

The Clocks featured in this have fairly unique designs and are not the kind of ones you normally see in flashes. It's great that you give everyone a chance. The animation was probably at its best when it showed the giant cubes in space. It works well as a music video because the song is so nice. You made me want to go and listen to "Whip It" which I am currently doing!

What indeed?

This is one of those submissions where there doesn't seem to be anything that good or bad about it. It was interesting to see a new series being made. You did do a pretty good job at introducing the characters. The main fault with this is the animation. Everything just seems too off model to really enjoy that much. I think most of the jokes weren't that well paced, especially how they seemed to be a bit too short and jumped too quickly.

I suggest you also put some sound effects that play during the episode. It was a bit funny how I saw that there were windows in the beginning of the episode. Okay, that was a lame joke. Your characters should probably have more depth to them, so put them in a situation that might express their personalities better. There did seem to be some heart in this, though.

[TWEEN: A Flash Odyssey]

A bit funny

There wasn't much action in this, but it was still something interesting to watch. This is easily the highest rated thing that ever had TheStarSyndicate name on it. I'm not sure what they did, but it's nicely done. It tells you what it's like for people to put so much effort in flash animations. Gee, I would hate to see what this guy is like when he animated the full depiction of Mario and everything. That music and scene simply never gets old.

I liked how there was so much detail put into everything he did. I did think it was a bit too silly to depict an entire flash like that. There were a bit too many closeups of the computer screen. Of course, given the outcome of this scenario, it probably set up the best tension it could. I hope my review is as epic as this cartoon.

Nice gold chains

I didn't really see how this was that much of a parody as it seemed to have so little going on. Stuff like this can be funny on its own, but it doesn't really belong on a website like this. It's still really cool to watch Mr. T throw his head everywhere. The way he actually changes his head's direction with his arms is pretty cool. The music doesn't seem too loud for me to even keep up with. I guess it was supposed to be ironic.

I suggest you putting more effort in your work like having some actual flash in it. Short things like this don't work that well, especially when they exist in an infinite loop. I have followed most of Mr. T's rules so I don't think this will make me think lesser or more of him. Yeah, the song is basically about poverty. We can help prevent it.

That was odd

I kind of thought it went on a bit too long. I just I am just so used to watching machinima when it's on a format that tells you exactly how long it is. It's still nice that you put stuff like this up on Newgrounds. The resolution could have been better, but trust me, that can be difficult. It was certainly enjoyable in the long run, particularly with how random it was. It's always hilarious to see these characters' heads and body parts just fly around everywhere.

You'd think they'd go to the hospital for broken bones. These dudes are basically the Plastic Man of video games. It was kind of hard to understand the jokes, but still done well. All the voices sync up well and they fit the surrealist humor the cartoon gives off. These guys are so ridiculous they can make any scenario funny.
