While not as good the previous entry, this was still great. It's really interesting to be introduced to all of these new pokemon. There were just so many of them, I think I lost track after 500. If YOU can seriously recognize all of them, I appreciate you. I liked how there were a lot of different art techniques being used. You used a Digimon game music in a pokemon fan flash, you traitors!

The best part is probably the dynamic between Teejay and Gardevoir. If fighting pokemon could talk, that's probably what they would say. I'm not even familiar with the new gym leaders now. I didn't know he'd get a new pokemon here. There's always something going on in these cartoons.

teejay-number13 responds:

I'm still working on learning some of the new pokemon as well, since I didn't get into B&W as much as the previous games. The gym leaders are fan character entries for a gym leader contest I held. So they are not from the games.

This was going to be a five star cartoon, until you suddenly had a bunch of kittens die. Seriously, that ain't funny! Anyway, what I wanted to mention was that it was great to see Death with some new friends. I know he appeared in previous cartoons of yours, but I don't think the others did. I didn't even understand what the others were at first. It really helps that the animation is so fantastic.

I liked how they all have fairly unique designs. The funniest part was probably when Death mentioned that no one cared about them with all the new medicine and stuff. Well, everyone dies eventually. Famine has a funny looking hat. I'd like to see more stuff with these guys.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

fuck cats.

I'm surprised this doesn't have a higher rating. I love this because it makes me really think about what it takes to make a cartoon. There are just so many things you have to do. It was great to see so many talented people come together for this. I didn't even know most of you guys, but knew a good number by the sheer amount of reviews I have. I just found this to be really cool.

It's hard to tell which parts were my favorite, because there were so many of them. I appreciate so many different styles being shown. I think some of these were already made. I recognized Robocop from some other of 53xy83457's work. I also loved how the music.

Carr77 responds:

Thanks for the comment! I'm sure 53xy83457 and ESTAR48 will be glad to hear that you liked their work :)
We had a highter rating before, but lost 1/2 star when we got front paged xD

Dude, I freaking loved this! At first, I was afraid it was just going to be some lame, cheesy thing with no effort but it was anything but! It was just great to see these Garfield comics being deconstructed over and over. The animation was fantastic in everything. Are you guys serious that there was a 1981 comic strip where he did nothing but sleep? Yes, I am one of those people who used to be a big "Garfield" fan.

Now, I really can't help but hate it like everyone else does. I guess it's sad to see how something like this was never even funny to begin with. Thank you "Pearls Before Swine" for existing and pointing this out. I think my favorite was the one where Garfield and Odie appeared as Beavis And Butt-Head. It reminds me of that Lasagnacat channel, I think it's called. May Garfield continue to lose popularity!

TmsT responds:

The strip where Garfield did nothing but sleep for 3 panels was the set-up for a weak gag the following day, where Garfield wakes up and realises he's missed an entire day of his life. If Jim Davis hadn't continued to make (or at least take credit for) consistently unremarkable strips for the next couple of decades I would've thought he was poking fun at the already self-limiting "3-panel daily" format.

Oh, I thought this was really funny. It mostly just shows you how the whole financial crisis is basically a vicious cycle. I will say I was kind of expecting more monsters and stuff in this. At least it manages to still be great and satirical. For something that didn't have a lot of detail, there was really good animation in this. The funniest part was probably when they all acted like zombies.

It makes you think it probably does work like that. I was thinking maybe Captain Planet or some economic symbol was going to show up in this. I wish there was a money bazooka that could hit me with so much money. I just have to continue with my job in food service aide. This really has a nice tune to it after awhile.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

i like this review ericho, very stream of consciousness. 4/5 stars.

I wasn't that impressed by this submission at first. It wasn't so much that it looked bad, it's just that it didn't seem like much of the ordinary. I was quite pleasantly surprised to find out that it got a lot better with how the monster appeared. Or rather, how the guy turned into the monster. It was also really cool how he turned into a live-action guy at the end. It also has a nice beat.

I have no idea what's even going on in this. It's great to see that guy just slicing and dicing people up, not to sound morbid. It might not be one of your more noted flashes, but it's still great. I promised I wouldn't look at the time to test myself and I didn't! It was worth it.

MindChamber responds:

ya sorry, I did a bad job with the story I think..

basically the cablines that connect to apt to the studio was hit by a crashed ufo, that ufo is giving off energy thats turning the rappers words into reality.. I hope that helps.

thanks for the review.!

I hadn't seen the other ones in the series, but this was really cool. I think the main reason it works is because the animation is so fantastic! You really have characters moving their bodies so much! Granted, it could have been funnier, but it's still awesome to look at. I think my favorite part is when Neji turns into this monster. The voices are wonderfully done too.

You did make a mistake, Rock Lee isn't able to use jutsu. Of course, this whole thing was just done for fun, so it probably wasn't meant to be accurate. It's funny to see how you portray yourself in front of that computer. I'm pretty sure that's what you were aiming for. It's great to look at.

KKING1 responds:

lol yea you are right about all of those things

I thought it was really cool how this is the first submission I've seen for Robot Day 2012! I believe it first started in 2010. I didn't think this was one of your better cartoons. I think it's mostly because the animation wasn't as good. It still managed to be pretty catchy when you taught onto the beat. The techno effects used were nice too.

I liked how you created this as a prequel. Granted, I've seen so many flashes, I don't even remember the original, but it's still some nice work. I appreciate you keeping the spirit of robots up. The stuff shown on the menu is nicely done too. It looks like his feather brush is made of cotton candy.

koit responds:

Yay, that was the look I was going for on the duster. :)

Well, I think this was a pretty good cartoon. I didn't like it how it was a bit too short, but I guess a cartoon made in not much time is expected to be like that. Dang, you guys are throwing in every contest you can come up nowadays! Anyway, I did think the animation was really good. It kind of reminded me of the stuff by Sexual-Lobster. I liked how you showed a dog randomly appearing and winning.

At least it made more sense when the scene continued. It seems like it's been awhile since there's been a wrestling flash that I've seen, much less one that was frontpaged. It's interesting to see what you can do with a single theme. I liked to see what happened in the other wrestling fights mentioned in the titles. Kpheeyat's the new TomAto!

hillrdavid responds:

I ended up cutting out the entire middle of the animation and putting together the beginning and end, due to time constraints. Thanks for the review :)
