Nice preloader

Oh, I am rather glad that it was not just the preloader, although that would have been nice. The problem with this is that it doeosn't have any sound in the cartoon itself. I can still tell there was some nice effort put into making the preloader. The song can get a bit irritating when it goes on for such a long time. It was also nice of you to have more than just the same image over and over. This is the Clock submission for 2011 that has the highest rating of one I have ever reviewed!

I'm surprised this didn't win Daily Feature. It seems like there could have been more really popular Clock flashes this year. I hope you guys do not dwindle out of popularity because you have at least made some good things. It looks like you guys had some of the best Clock Days for 2011 given your score! You will still always be better than the Kitty Krew.

Ericho... The greatest honor I've received on NG was having you review this movie.

Thank you for showing support, I am blushing like crazy.

How strange

I have to say that this was pretty interesting. It's hard to say if I would classify this as a comedy or parody because it doesn't have a consistent theme. It really messes around with what it is. It was cool to have an interactive movie that isn't that hard. It reminds me of some guy (forgot how) that said most video games are just interactive movies anyway with all the cutscenes. It was really cute how they were depicted on little sticks.

The funniest part was when the animals were playing the video games and they swore at her. Click on the branch in the upper right hand corner to make it fall and kill the animals. It's interesting how everything has a fair amount of depth in it. Was the secret mini game the one with the floating heads you shoot? That was pretty entertaining.

the fun of you, the viewers, is my goal.

Thanks for watching the movie and have a nice day :)

Trust him?

I just keep thinking that this would actually work better if it wasn't a parody. Everything just seems to be presented in such a subtle way. I guess I am just so used to madcap comedy with no real plot. I am glad to be learning more and more about this game as the series progresses. Everything just has so much depth even if it isn't presented with the standard graphics. I guess blocks can show a lot of detail too.

It's interesting to see them interact in a new city. It kind of makes you realize how you have the Internet to go and escape like that. I think everything is presented in a fairly realistic manner too. I imagine that people would probably act like this in the game. It's interesting to see how the characters play off each other.

Thanks! Cool review! This story is VERY loosely based upon the events of our server.

Very good!

I am probably only giving this such a high review because I think animutation is the best flash work that ever came out of Newgrounds. It's mostly a meme in itself. It is great to see an updated version of it with new references. I liked how the main character was Togepi with Shino's glasses and hair. It was a bit hard to identify the characters that were in this, but it's still quite creative. I do, however, have to say I am disappointed Colin Mochrie did not appear in this.

It's great as usual to hear that awesome song. It's about pokemon and you can actually hear the chorus say "Pokemon" at one point. When it gets to the part with the three dancing guys in "TV says doughnuts etc..." I believe I heard "Homestar" being said. Then again, this did have a Homestar reference in it. You could have also used the Cheatball, the Homestar Runner anime equivalent of The Cheat.

Lucoshi responds:

Colin Mochrie want kill the togepi got it?

Short?

Dude, that was in no way a short because it was at least two minutes long and had tons of variations! In case anyone's wondering, there's a total of 20 different parts. The saddest part was when it ended. Of all the submissions that feature the Mario characters doing stuff like this, I think this was my favorite. The sprite work was just so wonderfully done! Everything had a perfect sense of fluidiness in the animation. You had no idea what would happen next.

I think my favorite would probably be the one where the alien bursts out of his chest. I am so glad it kept going on with more ridiculous things. You also really know how to go out with a bang. There was puking, gender transforming, farting, an army of koopas and every other crazy thing you could think of! It took real creativity and maybe some drugs to come up with this. It's also great how everything moves so fast.

Sunrie responds:

Thanks for the great long and detailed review!

Really glad you liked the variety put into it and felt it transitioned smoothly into each skit.

I love the chest burster and the leprechaun ones the most myself :)

Congradulations!

I imagined that the Clock Day submissions would all be really high, as I thought that was the day everyone got 5's. Still, I have to congradulate you on having the highest rated flash for Clock Day 2011. The animation could be better, but everything else is great. I espeically liked seeing the frowny faces getting whipped. This seems like something from the movie "The Ten Commandments". It just seems like I would know as it's one of my favorite movies.

The Clocks featured in this have fairly unique designs and are not the kind of ones you normally see in flashes. It's great that you give everyone a chance. The animation was probably at its best when it showed the giant cubes in space. It works well as a music video because the song is so nice. You made me want to go and listen to "Whip It" which I am currently doing!

CorpseGrinderClock responds:

Whip it is an amazing song

Nice gold chains

I didn't really see how this was that much of a parody as it seemed to have so little going on. Stuff like this can be funny on its own, but it doesn't really belong on a website like this. It's still really cool to watch Mr. T throw his head everywhere. The way he actually changes his head's direction with his arms is pretty cool. The music doesn't seem too loud for me to even keep up with. I guess it was supposed to be ironic.

I suggest you putting more effort in your work like having some actual flash in it. Short things like this don't work that well, especially when they exist in an infinite loop. I have followed most of Mr. T's rules so I don't think this will make me think lesser or more of him. Yeah, the song is basically about poverty. We can help prevent it.

i no rite
