Getting better

Again, for something labeled as a parody, this didn't seem to have that many laughs in it. Don't get me wrong, the CSI jokes were awesome. Trust me, that will never get old. The coolest thing about it was probably how you do focus on having on ongoing story. The fight scenes with the monsters were really cool. It seems like I'm seeing Minecraft flashes everywhere I go on this website. It's amazing how much depth you can put in when you only use blocks for color.

The voices are wonderful too. This seems like what people would sounds like in a scenario such as this. It's amazing how resourceful you can be when you just have a bow and arrows. The monsters are fairly, pardon the pun, three dimensional in this. I am interested in seeing how far this goes and where our heroes venture.

Thanks! Nice review too! This is my first stab at a series so I'm glad people are liking it so far.

Not bad

As this is the first episode I have seen, it is a tad bit hard to judge, but I will do the best job I can. I thought this wasn't bad, mostly because of how good the animation was. It was great to see so many different shades of blue. It was a bit hard to follow in terms of story. I also did not like the part with the giant robot guy where it looked like it was building up to a fight scene, but it wasn't. Then again, the bit with the bills that followed it was kind of funny.

I am proud to be your first reviewer, as I am for several flashes given my prolificness. It was also cool to see such a wide variety of characters. They just had so much detail in them and there was good emotion put into their voices. You do need to work on having more of a story to suck the watcher in. These guys must have come from Pandora.

rbinturong responds:

Thanks for the review. I'm afraid you landed right smack in the middle of plot continuation from the previous two episodes. If I were a new watcher, I'd find this episode particularly hard to follow as well. The trouble with our toons is that the storyline depends heavily on previous episodes, so if you haven't watched them you'll be a bit lost.
If you like fight scenes, maybe you should check out the first episode (not the 2009 one).
I assure you, This Town isn't located on Pandora. We're missing the tails anyway. Hehe. Thanks for the useful review (don't know who voted it otherwise)

Too bad

It looks like you didn't make a good tribute to your girlfriend. Then again, maybe by not making it good you mocked your former girlfriend. I wish I knew which of the many actors crediting for this is the one who lost the girlfriend. At least there were not as many credited people as other Kitty Krew flashes. You guys could use a lot of work with design, especially with putting a background in. There was barely any color in this too.

You should have put in a lot more detail in it and it moves too slowly. Try to make it so that the text moves across faster. The music wasn't half bad, but it goes on too long. It's weird how you are even able to get that low in image resolution and still manage to make something out. Actual movement with the characters' bodies would have made this a lot better, too.

NE SHUT TH FUCK UP U DONT NO N E THING ABOUT FLASH

He does beat everything!

This was really cool because the title did the cartoon so much justice! The most awesome thing about this was probably how easily he beat everyone. I am not that familiar with the "Earthbound" series, but this kid is awesome! I think the best battle was probably the one with Zero. The Hamtaro battle was also awesome and it's great to see Short-Factor assembling all these people. While it seemed mostly incomprehensible at first, it did develop a story as it went on.

The music and sounds were sweet as well. I can not even believe that the Caramelldansen meme has been around that long. This kid is just awesome and even though I know nothing about him, it's so great to watch him fight. Seeing so many different styles of animation is always interesting. Even the credits are pretty cool.

Short-Factor responds:

You are like some kind of crazy review happy juggernaut. Surprisingly, after reviewing all of my audio work, you review this years later. Well alright thanks its a good review, as yours are.
Do not relate the song to the meme. I just used it because I thought it was a hilariously strange fit.

Nothing

Well, I think there may have been a mistake in this, because this appears to be a blank screen. It's too bad this got such a low rating on Clock Day. You could have at least made this Clock themed by putting some Clocks in it. I find it amazing that so many people managed to contribute to this. I didn't hear any voices or music, nor did I see anything at all. It seems a bit impossible for numerous people to work on a blank screen.

I suggest next time you try to submit something. I'm guessing it might have a loading error, but I think this is in fact what it's supposed to do, with just the blank screen. Hopefully, you guys can all work together to make something better next year. There are so many better things out there. I think this might even be my least favorite thing I ever reviewed.

ChandlerThompson responds:

Ouch!

It's different!

I thought it was really cool to reverse the situation. I guess most modern tellings don't have a sexual overtone to it, although I'm not sure if it was in the original version. It wasn't really so much a parody as it was a nice piece of art. I have no clue why anyone wouldn't want to make out with a hot girl like that. Hey, I'm so desperate for a girlfriend I'd turn into a wolf to get one! I knew that the color would show a twist in the classic story.

The wolf girl herself was really cool in this one. She didn't want to eat anyone's grandmother or anyone, just show off her hotness. The music played throughout the cartoon was also really cool. The only part I didn't like was when he struggled with the ropes. The animation just seemed off in that scene, but for the most part, it was fantastic.

gusana responds:

Thank you!

Attack of the blobs!

Probably the only thing I didn't like about this was that it was not in color. Everything else was pretty much flawless. I loved how these monstrosities just turned into each other over and over. There are a lot of infinite loop submissions here, but yours are the ones that truly work the best. They know how to put order into what they do. It's the kind of thing you can look up at and always see new things.

The music is great, and the animation is wonderfully fluid. The cartoon itself sounds like something that would be in a zen riddle. When do these creatures start and when do they end? You do the surrealist community great credit with this awesome stuff. There's even quite a few variations in what they do. I hope you never lose your touch!

TheBoogley responds:

thanks again for yet another lovely and detailed review. Knowing that there are people like you out there enjoying my work really motivates me to create my best work. I plan to eventually colour this and refine the drawing, but this is the best I can do for this one month deadline.

It deserves it!

Dude, you definitley deserve the reward for Daily Feature for Robot Day 2011! The coolest thing about this was the animation. At first, I thought it was kind of cheesy, but it definitley got better as it went on. You really went out of your way to put a lot of body movements into these ridiculous characters. If this was an actual thesis for school, I hope you passed with flying colors! It just shows you how a holiday can influence a person. It is the best submission I saw for this Robot Day, as you might have guessed.

The helmets looked a lot like the kind used in that game "Ching Chong" something. It's not as much about robots as it is about cyborgs. Of course, I'm being too picky because this is a fantastic cartoon! For those who haven't seen it, the final sentence contains spoilers. I imagined it would be real after all at the end, but not with the bird!

Nogfish responds:

thanks! there will be a sequel ;)

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
