Right in the middle

This was a fairly mediocre flash and it looks like you had a nice Clock Day indeed. I believe the purple thing was supposed to be thdrk. It was strange because I can usually just assume that every character in a Clock Day flash is going to be a clock. He looks a lot like Black Doom from the "Shadow The Hedgehog" game. I was kind of expecting more of a climax. It just seemed a little pointless to be showing it go into night and then really have nothing come out of it.

There are so many clocks I could have sworn I saw a GoldenClock who looked nothing like this. I guess I just thought he would resemble a gold bar more. The animation in this was fairly standard and if nothing else, it was harmless. You could, however, use some more jokes and action. I liked the child voice at the end.

KombuchananClock responds:

Still at it and still getting dates wrong, huh?

Shine on, Ericho.

What day?

I have no idea what day you are celebrating, but you appear to be doing something with the "Day X" thing. I also do not know what this had to do with chocolate. Oh yeah, TriangleClock eats DwarfinatorClock's poop and it's supposed to look like chocolate. The animation in this was fairly good and I was eager to know when he was going to eat someone's soul. I almost thought he was already eating a guy's soul with the poop! There still could have been some more action, though.

The intro with the ocean waves was really cool. It will probably sadly be the last time I see that today or really ever. I was expecting somebody to yell out "Eat Da Poo Poo"! Dang, that meme will never stop being hilarious to me as long as I live. You seem to be loyal to the Clock Crew and let me say you also have a pretty creative Clock name.

ClockOfBlob responds:

It's the Flash Flood (Where we flood the portal with flashes) and I am making a flash a day for january. Also, thanks for the compliment.

You're back!

It seems like it's been such a long time since you guys had something be the most popular of the day. You always make great work seeing as how there are so many people contributing to these cartoons. All the more impressive by the fact that this was made in only ten days! The one thing that would have made it perfect is if ExplosiveLock blew up at the end with Weezing. I have heard this song so many times it's about time someone make a Lock Legion flash out of it. The Lock Legion sponsor specializes in this.

The best thing about this is that there is so much heart put into this. The Clock Crew members are just seen having so much fun dancing and stuff. Sure, there's some violence but this is the Internet, what did you expect? It could have been a bit more creative, but still good. I hope you guys had as much fun making this as much as you depicted yourselves in it!

BobtehLog responds:

Haha yeah, it was great fun getting back into the flash making spirit!

Better

This was far better than the previous thing that I reviewed. This is mostly because the animation (well stop-motion) is done far better and I can see how it got a higher score. These Super Mario Bros. chess pieces just look so awesome! If nothing else, I praise you for introducing them to me. Everything was presented in a very clear manner, but the big downside was that there was not much action. If you want to work in stop-motion, then you should have a lot more things going on.

The music was pretty appropriate but there needed to be some more wonder. You could make it like a battle between the characters and throw in the Mario icons. That still does not take away from the fact that this looks nice. It just did not have much going on. All of these figurines look great and I would love to see them engage in a lot more action with sound effects.

doppler73 responds:

Thanks for the improvments, and the 5!

I'm a ball?

I guess you were just trying to make something really simple, but it did not work well because so little was actually happening. It was just these shapes talking. Oh wait, were you trying to get into the shape meme of cartoons here? Whatever your intention was, there needs to be a lot more action going on and many more jokes. Seeing as how this was "experimental" I guess it wasn't supposed to make any sense. Congradulations on working on your first independent cartoon, I suppose.

The only good part about this were that the lines were drawn pretty well. It was far too short and needed to have far more going on. I guess it works as a test but you should know that on this website it is generally not polite to submit things that are simply tests. Too bad you did not win the Underdog Of The Week award. Have more going on with more jokes for a higher score!

doppler73 responds:

Let me guess, I'm a Ball 2?

Also, FYI, doppler14 did the voices.

Whoop!

I think this footage may in fact be from the first Japanese Godzilla movie. That is known for being the best in the entire series. Normally, I am not a fan of these submissions where it's basically one short joke, but this was an exception. In fact, the only thing that kept me from liking it more was that you did not put in the Shoop Da Whoop sound! It is great to see footage from a classic Godzilla movie. It is also neat how you included a list of all the other flash cartoons you have made.

Sometimes it is not enough to just mention them, but also show screenshots of them! It's hard to say more, because this really works well in how brief it is. The footage itself just looks so good and in no way campy or cheesy. That atomic bomb scene is pretty popular, isn't it? This is funny because Godzilla himself is supposed to be a metaphor for the atomic bomb.

Psychopath responds:

No it's not, it's from the first one made in the '90's; specifically, it was Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah [1991]. The first Godzilla movie was made in the fucking '50's and was in black and white.

Now that was crazy

Nearly everything you guys work on seems to at least get a rating of over 4.00. This had a lower rating than that, but it still managed to be really good. I was thinking that you were going to reference the "F*cking Magnets, How Do They Work?" meme. This was great to watch because it was completely random. Were the birds going to pluck out the giant breasts or were they going for the crabs or whatever the other things were? You guys have a great spirit about how silly you are.

You had no idea what was going to happen next. Seriously, if you thought that dropping magnets down a toilet resulted in breasts appearing in this cartoon, I would have called you crazy. It seemed as though the water seemed to be going away at first. I then realized I should focus my attention on the much bigger thing of the boobs everywhere. Thank you for making this short, but sweet.

DestructoBox responds:

While it's actually a lake full of dead fish, the idea of a boob lake is very intriguing.

Thanks for the review

Tofu?

I could have sworn that I saw this before, but maybe it was just a demo or something. This was really cool to watch because it had a great sense of adventure and action. The animation really made it. While it was not the most original of ideas, it still had a lot of things going for it. As there is no dialogue, you are really allowed to let the action do the talking and in something driven by good animation, that really works. The best part is probably when she fires that white ball at the chamber thing.

I really have no clue at all what is going on in this cartoon, but niether do I in a lot of other ones. The animation style was authentic and there was so much detail put into it. This was also a great use of colors and shading as everything looked so unique. Now that I think about it, I think I have in fact heard of that graphic novel before. While not that long, it manages to be really cool and fun.

danomano65 responds:

Hey thanks for the review. You put a lot of thought into it.

Found the A!

Dang, you really should have submitted this on Clock Day when more people are giving out "5"s. This is probably the best of any Clock cartoon I have seen where it is simply the letter B. While I doubt I will be able to count it, I trust you in having over 200 Bs. This was not a great movie, but definitley better than what a lot of other people submit on Clock Day. You should join the Clock Crew as you have not before. I was not even aware that there were that many ways of expressing that letter!

It is hard to say you should improve, because it probably can't get any better than this in terms of a "B" tribute. It is too bad you have such a low score. You have definitley shown us that a single letter can go a long way. Maybe next time you could put in some music or sound effects or have the letters be different colors. This is a fairly watchable cartoon (yes, it has movement so I'll call it that) but put in some more effects.

Koolguykai responds:

Trust me, I am MUCH better then the crap I submit here. I plan to put on a thing that I worked hard on for Clock day though. And besides the name 'Koolguykai' I consider myself 'Castleclock'

Fairly nice

At first, I thought this was a fighting game because it certainly seemed like it was nice. The best part about this was that the animation was really good. I especially like the background with all those paintings. Granted, they really had nothing to do with the theme of the cartoon but they are still nice to look at. It also took a little bit to realize that it started on its own as one complaint would be that it did take awhile to load. Anyway, this was great fun to see these robots fight each other.

I have no clue who the robot besides Bender is or if he's supposed to be an original character. I suggest you turn this into a game because it definitley has potential. While a little short, it still does a good job of delivering the goods. Many of the animation styles seem to contrast with each other in simple appearance. This was an enjoyable cartoon to watch and you obviously have some talent.

DoomedChi responds:

Thank you
