Sparta?

Ah yes, I really should have seen King Leonadias (or however his name is spelled) emerge from this sooner or later. He was easily the coolest thing in this cartoon. At first I thought it was going to be a more generic Tetris parody. That still didn't make it something I would recommend, though. For one, it's a loop, which I guess isn't your fault considering the problems some people have to work through. It was weird how the same scene happened twice.

At least the Tetris graphics were fairly decent in their own right. Of course, I imagine it would not be that difficult. Next time, I suggest that you make the action move faster, especially with the king. You could also work on a more original song. It makes you realize why Tetris is so popular in how simple its design is.

Yo I made this on Windows movie maker and ms paint that's why it sucks.

Too funny

This was a great entry in the TOFA series, because it was just so random. Geez, I have followed Kirbopher since he started, and I can't even tell who he voiced in this! From the description, I actually thought this was going to be a lot more serious. It was cool how there were so many things going on with this. Even the end credits that showed the reflections of hte creators was cool! The title seemed like it would be a game.

I love how amazingly dopey, but also charming everyone sounded. If there was something that could dispense cupcakes like that, I would fight for it. It kind of reminded me of the random stuff that LazyMuffin makes. It's of course great in its own right because it's ironic talking candy would want something that dispenses sweets. While not that detailed, the body movements were good.

CyanSandwich responds:

Thanks man :D
If you would like to know - Kirbopher voiced the lollipop and the main kid.
And that's quite nice of you to compare me to lazymuffin :O

Great!

Wow, these are some of the most colorful and vibrant voices I have ever heard in a flash cartoon! It was just amazing with how fun everybody sounded. At first I thought you had taken audio from something else, because it seemed too cool to be your own! It's amazing how much depth these characters have in appearances despite only being pixels. Every character has an extremely wacky personality. The coolest thing is that they are all different degrees of wackiness!

I could just go on all day about how cool these characters are. It's sweet how they're involved in such a mundane activity like getting the groceries. It's the kind of thing that could happen in real life only without the magic. Everyone was just jumping all around and acting silly in this. I do hope this becomes a full fledged series, and I would love to be an actor!

Mutteo responds:

Thanks. The people working on the project with me really did have a good time working on this stuff. Durinh the hiatus, I did have time to vamp up my skills so visually the work has improved and I have learned a bit more with the work and it will continue to shine as I work on more stuff.

Yes each of these characters have an interesting personality that stand out on their own. Some of them are people I knew in college and I wanted to characterize them in pixel format. Though the drama with voice actors was hard, it is nice to see everything come together. This could potentially be a series, but I am not sure at this point, though act 2 is in the works.

Currently I do not need any voice work done but I'll keep it in mind in the future. Thx for your interest in my work <3

He wasn't in Episode 2!

This is a premise where you can simply do no wrong because it combines two things that are really popular on the Internet. The most impressive thing was how all of Darth Vader's lines are always related to what was going on in the situation. I expected Cat Vader to force choke someone. The animation was not the best, but it doesn't matter because it's so darn funny. I especially love watching this little guy point his paws at people. When he was talking to the guy in bed, I thought he was saying, "Growl".

He was actually saying, "Meow" or something like that. There's no real story, it's more of a series of jokes that are used with this character. That's all you need to make this great. I didn't even notice until now how good Cat Vader looks with the whiskers around his helmet. At least his entire body did not get singed, but he is black.

koit responds:

Glad you like it.

He's a "rowl"-er. That's the sound Vades likes to make, not a meow, a rowl.

Oh, a penis

I suggest you try to do better on a variety of things like some music. I know it was just a single image but it seems like there could have been some sound in this. If not that, there could have been an infinite loop showing some crude song. I realize that a lot of flashes are like that and it makes them a bit better. The only thing I liked was how it was kind of funny how the penis was shown. Every one of those fruits does look like parts of an actual penis!

You rarely see fruit clocks and vegetable clocks together like that. Maybe you were trying to promote some sort of peace? I was not even aware that the cock had been away. How can a cock take a shit anyway? I really should stop wondering right now how a cock could have shit come out of itself in any way at all.

icyh3ll responds:

You are thinking way to into this... This was just a clock day submission. To put effort into one is a real waste of time. I used powerbullet to make this in about 5 minutes just to have something to submit. Considering one of the highest rated Clock Day submissions is the letter B, I'd say I put too much effort into this. This is the second submission of Clock Day 2010.

Kind of different

It's great that people always manage to come up with new and original things in their Madness flash. While this was not from Madness Day, it managed to do quite well. The best part was probably the unique idea of people becoming red. While it doesn't make much sense, it's still original. What I did not like was how there was no music until the second half. It was weird how you were listing all the countries in alphabetical order.

I knew you wouldn't make it to every one of them. I am glad to understand the airborne is why it affects the dead. Science has proven that those are in fact the most dangerous and widespread of all viruses. The animation could have been better as it is standard for a Madness flash. I didn't know the title would be literal.

XXBlinx responds:

thanks for the comment, the countries in alphabetical order is a conicindence. The story does make make sense? People are trying to survive and at the end the dad (guy in blue) kills himself cause his family are infected

Not the worst out there

You spelled "since" wrong, as it's actually "since". There were a lot of problems with this, particularly with how everything seemed so disorganized. What was good was that the sprite works weren't half bad. Everything just moved so slowly as there was not much action in the beginning. I don't know why everything seemed red with Shadow's fight with Sonic. At least it cleared up when Knuckles and Tails arrived.

It also ended too abruptly as I was expecting some credits. The font that the characters used was a bit too small. It would have been better to have the dialogue contained in a box too. You need to brush up on some stuff, as being just introduced, I can not say much for the story. I am used to sprite movies like this on the website.

tal9x9 responds:

i am a beginner first i don't no a lot about flash but wait for part 4 it's gonna be longer and i will use 24fps on it and you didn't watch part 1 so you don't understand this part

Now that's weird

This was a cool caroton even if I had no idea what was going on. The only thing I did not like was that the image resolution seemed way off. At least you still worked on an amazing trailer with a very original premise to it. I thought you were saying the names of video games at the beginning with "Grand Theft Auto". Gee, I guess I've heard about so many video games, I didn't even know that phrase had another meaning. The most visually pleasing thing is easily the orange thing.

I suppose that is supposed to be the "Verdacomb"? Most people just assume that the main character or thing in a work has the name of the title. This definitley seems like something that belongs at an art festival. I congradulate you on your success and can not wait for the whole thing to come out. The main character seems nice enough.

danomano65 responds:

I had to lower the image resolution for NG only because of the 20mb limit. Otherwise the film is highest on my vimeo and YouTube. You can see the links in the authors comments above. As for the "Verdacomb" I'll only hint that it is the name of the society. The infrastructure and government and rituals are the Verdacomb. The orange thing is called an Orb Suit. Used in the game you see in the arena. There are four nations and each attempts to capture the middle white pillar in their corner. :)

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
