[Picoday Pinata Party]

Sweet!

Easily the best Pico Day flash I've seen (well, technically it's my only so far). I just loved this because of how great the animation was. It was great to see some of my favorite artists and programmers to come together for this. I'm still up to do voice work, Hulalaoo! Anyway, this was a lot of fun because everything was actually done in a fairly realistic way. By that I mean both good and bad guys died in this. I didn't know you guys were going to kill everyone off like that.

It looks like the pinata was an Uberkid and I don't know why Pico and the gang would be saving one of those. I was confused if that was supposed to pe Pico at first, but he appeared later (or showed himself). It was great to see such a lively and colorful cast of heroes and villians. The best fight is easily the end. I can understand why you guys announced that as if it were a different flash.

[VentureBros FanFiction]

Venture Bros!

I think this is the first Venture Bros themed flash I have ever seen on this site, much less reviewed. What really works is how well the voices go. Granted, the most I have ever seen out of the Venture Bros is some commercials on Adult Swim. Still, I think this should please any fan of the series. At least I managed to recognize the Monarch and know who he was. I especially like how goofy the characters sound.

As for the title, it makes you realize that more people should address their work as fanfiction. People mostly think of written stuff but it can apply to flash work as well. That reminds me of how much Sobe my family buys. The weird thing is that I don't think I've ever had any of that stuff myself actually. Good for a laugh.

What sucks is that Sobe switched to plastic instead of glass, and so now I don't even buy it. Shortly after, the company in competition with Sobe (called Fuse) did the same dame thing... what a shame, I like it better in the glass.

Thanks for the honest review from a non-fan's point of view! This review should satisfy any content produced by anyone. An eight with a lot of nice things to say, definitely flattering for someone who doesn't know the show. Thanks!!

**EDIT - I guess I would buy Sobe again if it were in a can instead. I just really don't like the plastic. We should use hemp instead of plastic, but we're not allowed, now are we? Thanks again!!**

[elmo the zombie]

Your favorite?

I just find it funny that a true fan of Elmo would show terrible things like that. This definitley reminded me of Happy Tree Friends. The most obvious part was when Elmo was skinned (halfway) he looked a lot like Flaky from HTF. The animation is probably the thing that needs to be improved on the most. At first, I really had little idea where this was heading. It wasn't until Elmo appeared that I understood his namesake role.

I was not expecting the guy who caused it to be run over by a car. Nor did I envision Elmo eating his own brain and seemingly dying from that. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen a zombie do anything like that! I think the gash he got on his face disappeared and reappeared. Not a masterpiece, but nice for Halloween.

[Can you Diglett?]

Twisted!

This was so cool because it was just so amazingly ridiculous! I think you actually used an actual audio clip from the anime to accompany the Diglett. It was so weird how Diglett turned into this monster and beat that guy up. I think other people have envisioned Diglett as having a big musclar body like that. When Snorlax showed up, I thought they were going to fight. It's a good thing they didn't as them crushing up the abusive trainer was one of the most animated scenes.

Speaking of animation, this style was just so wild! It's Spumco with pokemon! The best use of art in the entire piece is at the end when you show that still image of Snorlax and Diglett together. Thank you for also making a rather easy Easter Egg. While it had nothing to do with pokemon, it was nonsequitor enough to fit in!

It sounds like you were trying to imitate the name of the Dragonball Z character, Piccolo. Of course, he's named after an instrument anyway.

6/10 - Woah, Robo Tails looks awesome! While the effects were not much, at least there was some action going on. Now I can remember that the ghost's name is Puco.
5/10 - This one was just incomprehensible. I guess I should have read the beginning the text the whole way through.
3/10 - Sand? It looks more like urine. At least you had that awesome Sonic music.

"Pickilow" is named after the instrument yes, I never watch DBZ so I didn't know of that.

*Puca, is the name of the ghost, It's Irish for "Ghost"

[The Nyan Invasion]

Too cute!

I have heard of this Nyan Cat meme before but not here on Newgrounds. I simply could not hate something that has such an adorable appearance! This flash is actually done pretty well as the details are nice as he smashes through the soldiers. I have seen enough of these guys to notice how they die. It's so adorable to see this little guy cause so much destruction! The music was also great as well.

I do wish that there was some sound in it besides the music. I also did not like how it seemed to be too short! It's still good for a really quick laugh and it's nice to look at. I also like the goofy sound effects at the end and how the camera focuses on Nyan Cat. I am not the biggest fan of Pop Tarts, but if anyone could make me a fan, it would be this kitty.

[L'Amour de Rasputin]

Eh, I've seen better

This was interesting for a really short cartoon but there was not much else to recommend. I liked how you put it in the style of an old black and white thing. I think that was what movies were the time that Rasputin was alive himself. I could not quite understand the joke with the shaved beard. This seemed to be something Russian, but the words appeared to be done in French. Still, it was a bit unique.

I find it odd you would want this to be in the "Noir" section. Apart from the black and white usage, I didn't see how it was much of a noir. In fact, I don't even think there were many noirs that were also silent films. It was interesting how even the advertising in this was black and white! The animation was good, it just needed more action.

This was a surrealist piece, which is why it was in (Googled) French. The beard thing was just weird for the sake of weird; it was a long time ago so I don't know if there was any other reason.

I actually don't think most of Newgrounds' "sections" have been updated in years. I don't know if it's just something that got left by the wayside or what.

Sorry you didn't enjoy this cartoon too much; try watching some of my other, more conventional work. I'm better at making funny cartoons than surrealist ones!

[Twilight New Moon parody]

I am not a guy who hates "Twilight" but I have to admit that was the least in the series. Anyway, what made this cool was just because of how amazingly silly it was! Every second of this submission there is something ridiculous going on. I love how you portrayed Bella as this whiny woman who went insane over everything. She had the funniest, stupidest voice ever and the animation was perfect. Every action the characters took was exaggerated to the perfect extent.

It does have a feel of dumbness in it, but it's so hilariously bad it's hard to dislike it. The best animation was probably whenever Edward had a rainbow on his skin. It was funny how Jacob seemed to have like sixty abs on his chest. Then again, I would not know the exact number of abs a person has. A zombie is really more necrophilia.

This movie doesnt touch everyone, it was made completely for myself and needs a special kind of audience to like it. Im glad it touched you and yes it was made to be silly and dumb, because that's how the movie was through my eyes :)
Jay did a great job doing the all the voices and little rainbows on Edward actually exists in the blueray version of twilight, just not so.. exaggerated!

[Teksi - Part One]

First project?

Dude, this was great for a first project! I am guessing that "teksi" is Japanese for taxi and it even sounds like it now that I really say it in my head. The coolest thing was just how slick this animation was. It's a great innovative style that is truly unique and your own. The only disappointing part was when it ended as I wanted to see more! It's nice that you are continuing to submit flashes.

I really liked seeing all the sketches you had in the credits. I wish we could have seen some of those characters in the actual cartoon! I bet this took so long to make you simply didn't have enough time for the second part. Everything in this just seemed so real and authentic. You are doing great and welcome to this site.

Fairly funny

The main thing I did not like about this was how long it was. If you are going to make something with that length, please put more than some screenshots for the story. I guess it's better than having the same image for the entire time. What I really liked were the accents and how out of the ordinary it was for these characters to sound so vulgar. The funniest part was easily at the beginning when they were listing the drugs.

We have so many words for them we would make the eskimos jealous. I think these are actual pictures from the books as they seem quite authentic. It's nice to know people still do parodies of classic stuff. You really didn't know what was going to pop up next with this. I thought it would be over when Sherlock said they were done with the case!

The screenshots are just pages out of the sherlock holmes book. I was looking through it and made some silly scenarios up from them. If there were more pictures RayG could have used, I'm sure he would have. Thanks for praising the voice acting though. I appreciate it.
