Pretty good

I was hoping this was going to be a game and to be honest, I probably would have preferred it if it was. This was still definitley a decent flash cartoon because the animation was good. It must have been awhile since I played any of the games because I was confused as to what was going on. Well, randomness can be really great especially when it gives you popcorn. My favorite part was probably when the chicken landed on the corncob at the end. It seems like we should have more orange characters, as that's my favorite color.

I would make a simple CC flash game if I knew anything about Actionscript, but I don't, and learning enough to make a game would take a while, so I'll focus on animations for now.

Not terrible

This was very mediocre, in that it seemed to have equally good and bad things about it. The bad parts were that there was so little that happened and it needed more of a story/punchline. The good parts are that the animation is actually really good. I was expecting something dumb when I saw this, but was actually a little surprised. Next time, you should work on making it longer with more going on. I will say that it seems as though you got the animation part down just where you need it.

I also felt, when i finished and looked at the thing as a whole, that everything went far too quick and nothing really interesting hapenned, but i didn't feel like going back and revising everything.
Next time, the plot will be given more thought and be written down before i start animating!
Thank you for the input :)

Fairly imaginative

The best thing about this is that it just has a very casual feeling to it. It is fun just to see this guy skip along for awhile and it seems as though he might represent a stereotypical ghetto guy, but at least he acts normal. It is interesting to watch how he goes out of his mundane life. Probably the best thing about this was when he went through the candy mountains, or hills, or whatever they are. The music was of course quite suiting. I also like the drawing shown at the "Play" button and how it contrasts with the flash's simpler animation.

Wow thanks for the detailed review. :)

Quite random

It was hard to get into this a bit, because it was just so unfathomably silly. I am still probably glad that it was made because it certainly showed what you are capable of with no scripts (all of you). The best animated of the whole bunch was easily Sh0T-D0wN's, as I expected. Everything was just so nonsensical it was hard to describe it as being good or bad. In most collabs, more people have structure or at least similarity in their stuff. I am sure you guys had a lot of fun with this wacky experiment.

RicePirate responds:

It's true, randomness ran rampant. With other collage there is generally a unifying theme that is easy to see. I think the fact that the unifying theme of this collab was more in the process and audio, just made it less about a common visual thread. Good thoughts though :)

Weird...

I am so glad to see a collaboration between Sexual-Lobster and TheWeebl. When I saw the "mandance" cartoon, I could not help but think SL was ripping off Weebl. Now, of course, I know that you guys are on good terms. This was pretty fantastic, because it had a wonderful sense of wonder to it and the moral at the end was really goofy. It's hard to tell if the Earth turning into a giant owl is really an improvement. The animation was great as always, although I was kind of hoping the two of you would both work on the animation.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

haha yes i strayed deep into the weebl's territory with Dance of the Manwhore
glad you liked it!

That long?

I can certainly believe that in the future, we will have 3-D glasses for virtually (heh) everything. The funniest part was at the end where he threw up money like that. It was also funny to see the designs and animation even though I did think this was one of the lesser episodes in the series. It seems like you could have worked with more jokes and made it longer. It is still interesting to see this back and I myself can not believe it has been gone for such a long time! I guess I have reviewed so much stuff it is hard to keep track of the last time I saw something.

RubberNinja responds:

As much as I would've loved to make it a longer episode, I had a very specific time frame to work in. The interval skit had to be under 1 minute, which was different to write up being that these were generally anywhere from 2 to 3 minutes in the past.

Don't know why

It is hard to pinpoint exactly why, but I just thought this was a really amazing cartoon. I guess it was mostly because the animation was really good, probably the best I have ever seen in a cooking cartoon. The best part was how you had no idea what the punchline was going to be. It was also great to include all that extra stuff about the original storyboard and other things. While it did not have much going on, the way the characters just react to each other is priceless. When was the last time I saw food prepared like that?

DrpOpZ responds:

In these times where everybody does everything, being told that you have the ability to surprise others with something "unexpected" is much more than a compliment.
Your words means a huge personal success for me :)

Thank you

It never ends, does it?

It is always nice to hear that music (dang that is everywhere nowadays), but your game needs improvement. I did not find much "advancing" into it, except more blood on the cliff. A better thing to do would be to have people come down the cliff and you could aim at that. I did kind of laugh at how you managed to make it have such a simple premise. The graphics are decent, it is just that there is not much that happens with this. I suggest some more elaborate effects and more going on next time.

Lorkas responds:

You're right, I could've made it a lot better than only this. Now that I've played it again I've realised I could've had stickmen coming down from the hole in the cliff. With enough work I could also make the cannon rotate and make it an actual game and not an interactive movie. I'm still quite happy about how it turned out graphics wise at least, given the fact that I was a 7th grader when I made this.

Thanks for writing this review Ericho, it actually gave me something to think on.

It would go something like this

It easily lives up to the notion of being made by someone young, as there is no sex in it. This made me realize that "Jaws" is a classic movie, but few people have actually written fanfiction about it. Of course, it would probably look like this. One error was that "Jaws" was not even the name of the shark as it was given no name except for "Bruce" by the filming crew. The animation does a great job of expressing child-like stuff. If I was a fan of "Jaws" at that age, well I probably would not have even seen it.

Falconer02 responds:

Thanks a lot for the informative review!

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
