[HBD Flounderman]

Poor guy

When I heard of "Flounderman" it was something from an episode of "Spongebob Squarepants". The strange thing was that this did not seem to be about anybody who was like a flower. Heck if I even know what "Kombuchanan" means. The best part of this was easily seeing how great the giant robot looked like. It seems like you were really mocking the anime robot genre by showing that and ending up with a fail. It is a pity this was not submitted on Clock Day.

Then again, you had a different logo (which seems to show StrawberryClock with a vagina or something?) so you probably intended it to be something different. Not that SBC would probably even mind. This was better than a lot of other clock things people submitted that got high scores at least. The animation with the giant monster was not that great, but I doubt you cared. Maybe you can show the robot in use next time.

[Nightmare Madness Trailer]

Looks great

The best thing about this is that you really put something new in the Madness series by showing the bodies like that. The way they are all torn up and still come back to life is pretty unique. It just goes to show that this series' tributes can simply never end. Now it is just a trailer so there is not that much action shown, but it definitley makes you anticipate what is coming up. It was cool to have a second character show up. When you have more than one guy, it makes it a little more realistic.

Well, these are zombies so it's obviously not intended to be realistic. The way the camera works (well, I guess it's a cartoon so there isn't really a camera being used) is really cool. The best shot is of the second guy killing the zombie in the dark. The way the bullets hit the enemies are well done too. While this seems to have a story, I doubt it will matter much with the final product.

Actually, I will put a LOT of effort into making a good story. And it won't be something you usually see, as I'm aiming to make it as unique as possible. And I'm glad you liked the camera-moves, as I will use those a lot to :)

I have wondered

It's been so long since I've looked at that thing on my mattress I have forgotten how easy it is to make jokes about it. The thing is, I actually read the answer to that in a book. I do not remember exactly what it said, but I think it was okay to do it. It seemed like this was made for one of those color collabs that was something the site did awhile ago. Blue is one of my favorite colors, so I liked the shading. While not the most original of concepts, it still manages to be entertaining pretty well.

The best part was probably at the end with the guy squatting over the guy they shot so many times. It looked like he was trying to take a dump on him or something. Hey, they were nice enough to shoot him so many times in non-lethal areas! The drawings were good, it's just that you could have used more of a punchline. While not the greatest, this is something good for a quick laugh to watch.

Wow, with something like this I was not expecting anything epic at all, but you really got it down well! The best part was how well you seemed to imitate this guy's voice. I have no idea what this guy sounds like, but you put a great voice on it. Gee, how meta can you be when you are reviewing another review? This guy's main fault was that he used bad grammar and just came off as negative. The funniest part was probably when you went out of your way to define "contrail".

It seems to be a major disappointment as this guy may in fact be the most famous reviewer on the website now! Guys like me who make thousands of stuff would never get a tribute video. Speaking as one of the most prolific reviewers on this website, I would know a thing or two about writing reviews. You really knew how to lay the words out all over the screen. Let's hope all reviewers can learn from this guy!

Fairly mediocre

It is hard to say that there was anything particularly good or bad about this submission, because there really wasn't. The animation with the stick figures is actually pretty good, as far as stick figures go. The biggest problem is that it really is too short. At least you did not pollute it with a bunch of obscene or stupid stuff. Next time, you should really work on a background. Having a pure blank one is rarely a good idea. I have not see the other episode so I can not fully judge this series.

The voice work is actually done pretty well, although I can tell what you mean by not cracking. It seems as though you will get better if you work with that. I hope you have a happy new year and make better stuff. Hey, it could be a heck of a lot worse than a 2.45! My final thoughts are that it really should be a lot longer with more of a climax or punchline.

I thought this was a very original flash if not the most suspenseful. I guess it just gives off such an interesting tone of mystery, it is hard to come up with a consistent theme. I would like to see this explained, but it's still a fine cartoon. The best part is the animation, as you really worked hard to put dimension into the stick figure medium. It seems like this guy was trapped at a mental asylum, which sort of happened to my brother next time. It was weird to hear that song played at the end.

Recognized it!

I had seen this before, but it is great to have it here on this website as this site can always use more popular stuff. It was submitted on Christmas, but the only connection it had to it was snow. This was still fun to watch especially the guy's reaction to the guns. I love how this big pile of guns just randomly appears, along with that dinosaur. It seemed like you were really trying to end it all in a big way with him knowing that it was a grenade. The voice work was really good and I hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Santa deserved it

Wow, the second short was really unexpected. I had no idea Santa was going to die, and I thought it was going to turn out like that old joke about a guy who was just dressed as Santa who was accidently killed. It was quite dark, but I have seen worse. Drat, this cartoon inspired me to now talk in verse. The animation was as decent as ever, and that intro just never stops being clever. It is great that you guys all contributed to this so well that I hope you have a Merry Christmas and your own great story to tell.
