That was random

Apart from the fact that the animation was absolutely gorgeous, this had one of the coolest endings ever! I was NOT expecting the girl to enjoy her sex with the monster...much less marry and have a kid with it. Those Cthulthu like beings can be unpredictable. The voice work was absolutely brilliant as well, especially the girl. I am glad to look at your stuff because you have done a lot of great things for this website. I kind of suspected that guy was going to be the monster.

This had a great way of creating tention and stress and complete unpredictability. Too bad you missed getting this out on Valentine's Day by a single day. I like how everything is normal until the monster actually shows up. It's especially cool to see how much detail you can put into a more mundane story. I am glad it did not result in rape.

Glad you enjoyed, and got the joke... really though, I wasn't aiming for V-day, it just sort of fell like that, and I also feel like a good story idea (even if it's just a 5-minute short) should be able to transcend any of the holiday/theme days that give it context, you know? Its good to hear that people sort of think it did, especially because the valentines thing was kind of accidental. Take it easy man, keep up the reviews!

Could have been worse

I am not familiar with the rest of the series, so I was quite confused as to what was going on. I did manage to think this a little entertaining because the animation was so bad it was good at many times. That being said, you could work more on animation. It seems weird how the characters just move and even tell jokes. You did seem to have a good understanding of what color effects to use, though. I think there were some uses of the cutaway gag from "Family Guy".

Anyway, the voices could also be better, although they were certainly not terrible. It was also hard to understand what was going on. It seems like it was trying to have a story when it really did not. Random humor can really work for me but it can clutter something that tries to have a story. I am reminded of Dr. Kelso from "Scrubs".

[Chrono Trigger Unglued 12]

Again!

It seems like you just never had a bad submission under the Chrono Trigger Unglued title. This was fun because of the funny sound effects. I loved hearing the Muppet noise at the beginning as well as the ending music. It is too bad Jaspar had yet to be introduced into the series. Still a good watch, because it had a lot of good humor, especially when Fritz entered the story. It was funny how you had to click on the shiny thing because it was so frigging obvious!

Well, I guess that was the joke. It seems like there could still be some more action scenes put in, because I do kind of expect that. The humor is good, but it is a parody of "Chrono Trigger" after all. It's amazingly how consisently you guys have made this long running series. It was weird to see Lucca on the title screen but not the cartoon itself.

I'm glad you liked it, and thank you so much for your kind words. I will admit that CTU isn't very battle driven, but there is a nice fight scene in Episode 15 with the Dragon Tank. There will also be a major action event in the upcoming Episode 24 (or possibly 25, it depends on how the writing works out). As for the title screen, that's actually Jenny (an original creation of CTU). Jenny was originally meant to first appear in this episode, but the flashback where Fritz explained how he couldn't possibly tell how young she was eventually got bumped back into the next episode.

Twas okay

It is nice that you got something with a really good rating even if it was not that popular. I really liked it how it was easy to transition from scene to scene from the simple "Next" button. I am having mixed emotions about the animation. It's hard to say they are bad, because a lot of the times it's so cheesy you can not help but think it was intentional. Some of the designs of the dots are actually fairly good. Another good thing was the random death of the mushroom guy.

There were just not too many things that were elaborate. I felt like the jokes could have used some work, but it was random of course. It was nice to put all of these in one collection and not just seperate submissions. In case people do not realize this, you have to watch every episode to move onto the next one. There were few things really particularly great or terrible about this.

Lots of potential

The best part of this was the animation. I felt it was funny how there was such splendid animation regarding the title and the transition effects but the other parts were fairly bland. I suggest you try to throw in some more music and more jokes. It seems like this ended quite quickily and there was not a "To Be Continued" or anything. At least you had some funny jokes like the random "Banana Phone" joke. Geez, how long has it been since I heard that meme referenced?

I also liked the little easter egg with the tiny words. For those of you wondering, it says, "If you can read this, you're too close to the screen". I do not think I am so much close to the screen as I am just a guy who likes at those things. The monser itself had a pretty good design. Try to work a little more on jokes and have more of an ending, but congrats on getting so many voices.

The script had actually another ending, but it was 2 months past halloween already, so I made it an open end.
I noticed myself too that there wasn't too much music, I worked on that in the next animation I'm doing now called 'The Mine'.

[Captain Planet Rampage]

I wish the Planeteers were here

I heard they were actually thinking of bringing back that show to combat global warming or something. Anyway, this was really funny because of how stupid Captain Planet is. I thought you were going to say something about him killing everyone in the world, but that would happen anyway with the Earth's atomsphere being destroyed. He should have just eaten them! He said birds were the only thing that kept him from doing it in the first place! I love how insanely strong Captain Planet is.

He seems to be Dragonball Zesque with how many cities and stuff he destroys. I also loved the joke about eating plastic for some reason. The animation is great as always and stresses how pathetic Captain Planet looks. I see you have changed your name to The (Sexual-Lobster) for some reason. Well, it adds to the abstractness of your submissions!

[Chrono Trigger Unglued 15]

Tried everything

This was based on an RPG (I think) so it would only fit that it would be an interactive movie. It seems like about time this happened in the series. I am so glad I managed to watch one of these right after another. Granted, I was not able to advance beyond trying everything I could, but it was a fun trip. I am not sure why the guy had to call out that trampoline, but whatever. The funniest part was when the two guards were arguing over who should get the playing cards.

That scene was also funny with the wounded guy there. I did find it strange he was not bleeding, so of course he was not dead. It was cool to see some action with Chrono using the flaming sword, even if it did not defeat the dragon. I guess I am now glad "Flee" was not the final option as it would have made the scene a bit pointless. The dragon tank is very well designed, too.

If you weren't able to see the entire movie, the option to fight the Dragon-Tank works after you've first tried all the other options. As Crono says when you select it earlier on, "This should be a last resort." I'm sorry if you found yourself stumped by the interactive scene and unable to proceed onwards, this episode actually contains a 1 minute fully animated fight sequence once fight is selected after first doing all the other options first (and I know more action is something you've often asked for in your reviews of other episodes).

As for why the Chancellor asks for a Trampoline, in the original game he would jump straight up and down a ridiculous height when he was angry. It didn't really seem practical he could just jump like that, unless he had a trampoline underneath him. So, when he fails to jump up and down dramatically at the beginning of his speech, his has the guards bring him a trampoline so he can complete his dramatic effect.

[Sasuke shorts Part 3]

Very neat!

It just goes to show that people will simply never run out of ideas to show these characters off in funny scenarios. The coolest part was easily the beginning. It was hard to tell if this was supposed to be a comedy or not. It showed humorous things like Hidan and Asuma, but also showed serious things like Itachi beating up Sasuke. It was still fun to watch this and I could easily tell after awhile it was supposed to be more of a parody. The way the characters move and are designed is really well done too.

It was sweet with how you had no idea what was going to happen next. The zaniest once was probably when Rock Lee had a race with Sonic. It was so random how he just blew up at the end! I liked the cameo by Blockhead and the brief appearance of Sasuke in his demon form. The voices seemed to connect with the characters well too. I love how Kisame just glopes over Itachi.

[Blachnon & Flora EP 1]

Certainly decent

It seems like you were really working on making an experimental flash with this. I know it does not say that in the description but that is how I interrupted it. The only problem is that it is in fact fairly short with not that much point. I recognized the sound effect as being from that one bomb game with medals. This was certainly creative, as I had absolutely no idea what was going to show up next on the screen. The green main character kind of reminds me of Oogie Boogie.

It seems like you were vaguely going "Ghostbusters" with what his appearance was. I love how it transitions to a scene where the art is completely different. He did seem to really contrast with the background in the first half of the cartoon. It was nice to also know what he was thinking. It doesn't matter if a story makes any sense, as long as the animation is good.
