Pretty fun

I find it odd how Arnold Schwarzeneggar will take time off from being the governor just to kill grammar nazis.

Seriously though, this flash had a lot of spunk to it. The animation was nice and while there wasn't much action what was there was pretty cool. You know, if these people are writing post after post of grammatical errors in forums, they can always just be banned by the moderators for making too many posts that are too short. Oh, well.

;).

Impressive!

While you were a day late for Clock Day 2009, I was very impressed by this! The joke at the begining about the fat people was pretty funny and it only took off from there. I really admired the animation style in this. CorpseGrinderClock was particularly drawn well, and I believed it shifted art to a sort of 3D-like thing near the end, so I praise you for creativity.

CorpseGrinderClock responds:

Thanks fella!

Fantastic!

I could've sworn I saw this before but for whatever reason I didn't review it (ever), and I'm very glad to review it now after it's been on the portal for nearly a year! I'd just like to say that I would have been satisfied if it had ended with the man being eaten at the beginning. That wasn't the end, there was a news report and then I thought "that" was the end, but then after all of this time, you actually extended it even longer to make way for a classic "Madness Combat" style tribute with some good shooting and killing and stuff! I'm looking very forward to the next Madness Day and hope you continue on your success. I especially liked the style of the zombie drawings, not to mention it was very impressive audio (even if it wasn't your own).

LittleLuckyLink responds:

Yep, one more week. Thankfully I'm pretty much just wrapping the thing up, otherwise I would be bouncing off of the walls trying to finish it.

It was okay

I wasn't that too impressed with this one. I wasn't really a big fan of your stuff to begin with, although I do have to praise it for its excellent voice work. Congrats to everyone who worked on this! The use of sprites wasn't too bad, but I guess I'm just too used to seeing a lot of action in a sprite thing. The humor didn't come across as being particuarly funny, but it wasn't terrible at least.

Emptygoddess responds:

I'm glad it did not cause your face to melt with its terribleness. That would have been unfortunate.

There you go

While admittedly it was just a single screen that said, "A", I can at least praise you for making something that is truly relevant to Newgrounds. Happy Clock Day of any year and thank you for coming up with this interesting tribute. I seriously can't wait until someone makes "C for Clockday", which would make sense as "C" is already in the beginning of Clock Day. Uh, anyway, happy 999!

ReignOfHell responds:

I'm fascinated that someone dug around to find this.

Thanks for commenting though.

Marichu?

I like the idea of Marichu (a combination between Mario and Pikachu obviously) and I really have to appreciate the sprite work. Baseing Curse on Emerl is something you don't see often around here. My favorite part was definitley when Marichu had the pole and was hitting Curse with it (reminded me of "The Matrix" which you probably referencing). My only complaint was that it could've been a little longer.

Pienkaito responds:

Thanks for commenting. =)
Yeah, I could've been longer if it wasn't for a collab.

This was for a SMBZ collab, but I think it died. =(

Congrats on your front page

It took me awhile to realize the irony in this is that the letter of the Clock Crew was "B" and it would make you wonder what did happen to "A". Thank you for clearing this up for me. The animation was really good (I especially liked how the colorfulness of StrawberryClock contrasted with the more plain artwork shown otherwise especially seeing as how it could be used as a metaphor for how the power of "B" blammed the poor "A".

devilsgarage responds:

hehe well said =D

Not bad at all

While the animation may not have been much (well, it's scruffiness really did attribute to its authentic feeling). It was a nice song to hear and since it didn't have a story as you yourself stated it was nice for what it was. The movements of the characters (if you could even call them characters in something with no plot) were pretty good.

TheElSalvador responds:

Thanks for the review.

I'm so pathetic

I'm aware of the very low score, but I still just had to go and say this wasn't too bad simply because it still has that great tune that made the first so great. I agree that the original is one of the best flashes I've seen (although I certainly have a lot of favorite flashes), but the wide variety of crazy stuff going on with all the images really made it for me.

WonkyTonkBotty responds:

I gave it the low score with excessive 0 voting. ;D

Doughnuts are awesome!

I'm a huge fan of doughnuts, and it's pretty satisfying to see one in an actual story! I thought the animation and voicework was done pretty well, and it's just a satisfying feeling to think of a land made of frosting in the clouds! While it didn't have the best of jokes, I have to like how that blue doughnut (how many of those are there?) is so dumb it's funny.

StupidlyEPIC responds:

RayG likes drawing circles. I remember he showed me this donut character one day where we both worked and i said "stick a crown on him!" and he did. The rest is history!

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
