Not bad!

Admittedly during the beginning I was pretty turned off by all of the gay stuff going on (it just seemed so random), but it was still very enjoyable. I especially love the animation (the explosion is the best) and it was great to see some sketches you made at the credits. What gave you a 9 was the scene after the credits, which was simply made of awesome. While Dickneck may not be the biggest Internet celebrity ever, at least he'll be a celebrity here on Newgrounds, which I have memories of him first appearing on the forums!

Galneda responds:

The sketches in the credits were actually provided by badass, busty, ball-busting moderator, JadeTheAssassin.

The scene with the cybord LordTurnip (or now "Prime Turnip") was completely added at the last minute by myself, as it was never clearly established what happened to him in the story. It's implied that he died, but never addressed.

It's my intention that you'll catch up on Prime Turnip's origin in the trailer for the sequel.

Also, you can rest assured, there will be slightly less gayness in the sequel, and hopefully, much more complex animations.

THATS WHY I have to pump out many more flashes before the sequel. So I can get better at the frame-by-frame badassery. (Still not confident enough for what I envisioned. Time will be my judge)

I'm really glad you liked it!

I liked it

Well, I managed to catch a glimpse of one of your other flashes, and I was surprised to immediately find this one just out in the open! In short, I thought the animation was really done well. While obviously it was hard to get into the song because it was in another language, I can at least praise you for creativity and recommend this flash.

Thanks a lot! n_n

Best in the series!

I am now still watching these cartoons in reverse order, as my checking of the top rated forces me to. That being said, I can say that this is the best one in the series! I thought that the voice work was really nice in this one, not to mention all the crazy jokes that went on. I especially liked the sprite and all her (his?) crazy antics.

Emptygoddess responds:

You're like a time traveler. Tell me, in the future do we still use primitive textile based typing?

Dick neck?!

I remember first going onto this website and noticing all of the memes that were made exclusively just for flash cartoons. Then I went over to the forums and I was delighted to find the memes that started there, particuarly one that stood out was Dick Neck. It's a great example of a meme, and I seriously can't wait for the actual movie to come out! Thank you so much!

Galneda responds:

You're very welcome! Hope you enjoy the feature!

Different kind of movie

I wasn't all that impressed by the animation (it really seemed like it was just a bunch of still images put together, and not that many different ones at that. I haven't played this video game so I couldn't really get the jokes. I will say that of all the mediocre things in this flash, at least you put in a really cool song to go with it.

eat-at-joes-guy responds:

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. You say you've never played the game, first mistake. Don't question the source material or the humour involved, otherwise you have no place judging anything but the appearance and animation in the first place. Still images? Please, go watch something else if you don't like intentional pose-to-pose animation. It's relevant to the humour.

Better than the fourth

I know it's weird reviewing these flashes in backwards order, but now that I knew a little more about it I was able to understand it more. I knew that this now supposed to be more of a comedy-like series so I could learn to appreciate it more for what it was meant to be, although I was kind of disturbed by all the gay jokes at the beginning.

Emptygoddess responds:

I don't know how much they were jokes and how much they just... were.

Not great

While this was far from being terrible, I didn't really enjoy it. The voices were nice, but I was looking forward to more battle scenes. Of course, this is the only entry in the series I've watched, so I already don't know much about what's going on. Still, it was a nice little time waster, and I praise you for the high ratings you've gotten at least.

Emptygoddess responds:

Thanks. to warn you, this is the most action heavy of all of them.

Wow....

Okay, I had absolutely no idea what was going on, but I loved every minute of it! I really think that if executives did go out and make a Canadian show about a talking pineapple, this is exactly how it would play it! Those crazy Canadians!

I loved seeing all the different animation, though I was a bit confused by Oney's contribution. Who eats the raw outside of a pineapple anyway? Then again, who meets a talking pineapple in the first place? I also liked Pilote with her (his?) possessed looking eyes, and when Pilote went through the skeleton's body.

On an educational note, it was nice that I got to learn some French at least. I'm no good at learning languages, but it still worked out very well! For the rest of my life, I swear I will now that French for "pineapple" is "ananas". Speaking of langauge, it must be weird to say "seal" in French, as it sounds just like a common curse word in English. Oh well, I had a great time watching this!

Bobert-Rob responds:

Yeah, I have no idea how they came up with this one... it's like the budget was so low that they just scrounged up as much as they could for show elements, making it up as they went along. Crazy Canadians indeed. And in Oney's part, well, he was probably just hungry. When you're hungry, you'll do just about anything... including biting a living pineapple in the eye.
Glad you enjoyed it!

I'M A BACKGROUND ACTOR

Wow, dude, clocking in at about 20 minutes, it's the longest flash I've seen in a long time. Anyway, all I can say that this was pretty satisfying to watch. While I admit it wasn't a great one (maybe a bit too much with the sex jokes and the animation was pretty cheesy) the jokes worked well on their own, and I felt it kept a continuing story for that long a time. I haven't seen the others, so it's a little hard to understand what's going on, but still nice.

JunkYardAnimations responds:

hahaha thanks glad u liked it, and yeah i wanna get this series on tv so i can hire animators and sound guys :P
