Now that was awesome! It was easily the best submission for Pixel Day! I was so impressed at how good the action was. It looked like it was going to end around the one minute mark. Boy, am I glad it didn't! It was just oozing with creativity.

That sounds dirty. It's usually more about saving the day. Well, not always literally. I'd love to see this as an actual game! This is more like Sprite Day.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I appreciate it.

This is great because of how well it flows. Now, we don't need to have infinite loops here. We can have the timed program do that! It reminds me of Smaug. He'd probably be better off with those gold coins. I have a lot of marbles.

I like their cool designs. The sounds are quite nice too. You have a pretty good background as well. Klecc is a pretty odd name. You know, the more I watch it, the more it grows on me.

Butzbo responds:

Oooh indeed! I thought a lot about the classic Hobbit chapter with Smaug while making it.
Also, funny that you commented on the name, goblin names in fantasy are usually short with an unusual sound to them so I just tried to come up with something in that line, it's an odd one indeed haha. Thanks for the review!

Well, it did indeed get frontpaged! Don't worry, they didn't just have pity on you. This is in fact a great cartoon. Well, maybe it could have had more sound. I totally believe feeling like this. It goes for things showing up on the other Portals too.

We all posted stuff on our fridges as kids. Heck, we still do as adults! It was a very quaint cartoon. Anything good gets the front page. Well, in most people's opinion.

Thanks for the review!

I love that little thing at the end. The best part about this is the guy's voice. I mean, it just seems so authentic! I'm glad this didn't get too violent. I really thought you were going to mention something really bad happening to the kid. I hope this isn't based on a true story. Well, at least not involving someone YOU know...

I liked the projector-like images at first. I really liked the backgrounds in this. I never got into BB guns. Eh, my folks would never let me have one. I'm glad it was that same kid.

AustinKimmell responds:

Thanks so much! I was so glad to bring my grandfather into this and have him voice it

Nice how you got a 4.20. Wait, 420? Yeah, this is a bizarre cartoon. I appreciate the little things going on. I just wished there was more CGI. I loved seeing the amazing world you created.

It really started out cynical, but got happier. I'm glad you could show off the two well. You earned your degree! I guess cartoons without words don't count as music videos. For something experimental, it did have a plot.

ChillyCheese responds:

Hell yeah 420, thanks for immortalizing the score with this comment since it will surely change by this afternoon. Glad you like Ericho! I did have more CGI scenes in my storyboard, unfortunately had to cut them due to time limitations. I had a really cool effect of him falling into the scribble where the lines sort of became stretchy and fibrous as he fell through, snapping through them. I had the effect constructed and everything using bifrost and was really proud of how it looked, didnt have time for the animation and compositing though sadly.

That first 3d scene with the camera moving right took so long to compose, and unfortunately even though its a 3d model, it only works for that one angle of the camera. Its basically the simpson meme where all his flesh is tied off in the back, but you the viewer get the good angle :)

I have to admit that I didn't quite like the animation in this. It just could have been better detailed. It's still nice for a little cartoon. I especially love the Charlie Brown music at the end. That's my favorite Christmas movie! Well, I know it's more of a special!

Everyone celebrates Christmas nowadays. I always love seeing Satina. I'm glad it didn't end right away. You stretched the story out well. It probably wasn't meant to be that well drawn.

POSTBOY responds:

You're right. The look was meant to emulate frosty the snowman but i also had limited time and rushed certain parts

Wow, what a beautiful cartoon! You tell so much in such a short time. Maybe I should stop saying that. I would love to see this made into a longer cartoon. She actually kind of looks like Hatsune Miku. Well, people have just seen her everywhere.

You have such fine detail to her eyes. I mean, more so than most anime. I'm kind of reminded of "Amelie". Well, that's only because of the title. It actually does tell a story on a small scale.

CuteNikeChan responds:

thanks so much! i really appreciate it! <3

That was short, but boy was it hilarious! I just loved seeing this beautiful animation. She kind of sounded like Naga the Serpent. I don't know anything about Blocky Hours. I'm so glad it didn't turn into something really obscene. I mean, I know it wasn't going to be completely pleasant.

I'm just glad it didn't go too far. It worked wonderfully as a short gag. That can be hard to do here! The character designs were so creative. Well, I guess you didn't make them yourself.

Wazzaldorp responds:

I did make the character designs tho. They're my characters lol

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
