Well, it doesn't seem like this was intended to be anything that great. I do appreciate the good animation. I have seen so many Pico stuff popping up, it was interesting to see something that wasn't related to it. The sounds weren't that great, but it's just too short. It just seems to work for a single joke which is admittedly funny in its own right. It just isn't enough for a full cartoon.

I guess in this case, calling it a "full" cartoon would be a bit of a stretch. It might have worked better as an Easter Egg in one of your cartoons. Of course, with the new formats we're using, it is in fact hard to make Easter Eggs like that. I guess I was just hoping for more recognizable characters. It's harmless by itself.

Eddache responds:

You're the reason I wasn't going to bother putting this up in the first place. It was just a YouTube toon but I thought I'd share it today.
"It's too short" is the dumbest review anyone can say. Things are as long as they need to be. There's no reason for this to be longer and there's no reason why more "short" cartoons can't go onto Newgrounds, aside from malcontent reviewers complaining "it's too short" like it's a bad thing.

You know, there is one disadvantage of having cartoons like this. There are basically not going to be any clickable Easter eggs in it. Oh well, this was still a great cartoon. I was simply amazed at how much was going on in this cartoon! I think its strongest point is probably how it seems like not a single frame of animation is different. It's the kind of artwork that would make John K. proud, not that you would care.

There's so much going on and it's so funny. I love how everyone here looks so stupid and they're all just killing each other in a ridiculous manner. Congradulations on being featured on the top of the page. It isn't that great, but it's still great enough to recommend. I appreciate how long it must have taken to put in every detail.

kalabor106 responds:

If it is John Kricfalusi then I would care.
Thanks for your honest review.

Wow, this was one of your most bizarre submissions. Because of this, I mostly thought it was great. The funniest part was probably how he kept talking about his dick over and over. I have never played Mass Effect, so I don't know much about the game or its gameplay. What matters is that this is a wonderfully goofy cartoon. It's fairly short, but that's all it needs, and it has so many funny parts like how he keeps punching people's faces off.

It's great how wacky these characters are. I love how you randomly have Buzz Aldrin. I think this was a reference to that one video that shows everyone saying how much they love the world. The voices really fit the insane tone of the cartoon. I like how you make all sorts of different submissions.

El-Cid responds:

Ha, thanks. Well, Buzz Aldrin does make an appearance in the actual ending. I guess Bioware didn't think it was pretentious enough as it was.

I kind of wish this was longer, but this is still great for what it is. What's cool is that the animation is as fantastic as ever. You will never cease to have a colorful arrangement of characters doing random mischief. I admit, I was not expecting a scorpion monkey to come into this. At first, I thought it would be mostly a music video at full length. It was more of a one joke thing, but still wonderfully done.

I like how sinister and deadpan the voices are. If it's the same guy doing all the voices, then he's (or your) doing a great job. Once again, you deviated from having any recognizable characters as your stuff is so random, you don't need to use them. At least the guy behind it had his arm broken. I guess they are even in that sense.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

thanks ericho - i voiced the blonde dude and my friend peter voiced tony.

I don't think I'll review the fourth episode. Well, it's been a long time since I watched the first entry. I think the sprite work was actually pretty good in this. There were a lot of problems, though. First, there wasn't enough action. I have no problem with there being dialogue everywhere, but it doesn't really add up to much.

I noticed there were some spelling errors and when the characters show up with their dialogue, they get kind of a scrunched image of themselves. I think "Dragonball Z" and "Sailor Moon" are the two most popular series for crossovers. The credits also seem pretty slow. You could maybe work on having the characters fit into the series better. There's just so much stuff out there, it's hard to find stuff that unique.

Punisher33 responds:

I chose these two cause i did a story of them when i was in jhs of the redo of the cell games it involved the street fighters also. so i said why the hell not. i will go into everything in my new series.

It's too bad the lyrics never surfaced. Then again, this did have some music with it, so it does have sound in a sense. What's funny is how I was a bit disappointed with how this didn't seem to be as wacky as some of your other submissions. I was pleasantly surprised when it randomly had the Devil appearing and destroying things. It's really the kind of cartoon where you have no idea what is going to happen next. I guess it could have had more action, but it doesn't need it.

I guess the moral is something along the lines of don't steal doughnuts or the Devil will destroy everything. Well, at least you're sending a good message! This seemed to be something new as it didn't have any recognizable characters from your other stuff. Dude, I think this is the highest score of anything I've seen since the new website layout! Congradulations!

Sexual-Lobster responds:

thanks ericho

What I thought was funny about this was that it really did seem different than other things you had made. It's probably the darkest thing you ever made. It seems more like something David Firth would do. I appreciate you trying on a new style. There wasn't a lot of wacky animation in this, but the overall premise was wacky enough. I think the best part is when the baby burns the person's skin.

I like how you consistently keep up that voice. It's great how you used the name "Penny" as it's a very cute name. While not very long, this still delivered the goods. You will simply never stop submitting good stuff to the Portal, will you? One of the most prolific artists I've seen.

LazyMuffin responds:

This is dark? I think that Desktop Stripper and even the second half of Lazy Writing 5 is a lot darker than this. I don't even consider it a new style, I just tried to make it more commercial-ish cause it's also sort of making fun of toy commercials.

Thank you for all the comments, I read them all.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
