I was kind of confused by this. The actual parable didn't start until halfway through the whole cartoon. It was a weird narrative device. I would have preferred if you just told us the story directly. I wasn't expecting that turtle's throat to be slit. It is rather unpleasant.

Well, I guess it made sense with the story. It was nice to see this animation. The voices are quite good too. It is a pretty unique cartoon. It's just not one of your best, IMHO.

RiverJordan responds:

Yeah the intro is too long. I cut it shorter in the next one, and they'll probably only get shorter from there :P

It's great to have you back! I even notice you have a new avatar. I love the animation! I am weirded out by the fact that this was so short. I mean, you have so much more potential! I would love to see longer stuff from you.

Of course, it's okay to make shorts. It just doesn't come off as that rewarding. This is still great to watch. I thought it was great, but not...that great? It just didn't seem good enough to earn a 4.60, but at least we get to hear fart noises.

chluaid responds:

My plan is to release very short shorts between my more substantial projects which can take anywhere from 4-12 months to complete. I decided to try releasing these 1-2 min pieces in between, to produce regularly and frequently

I like your animation style. This just seems pretty pointless. I will give it credit for not being disgusting. You often have too many disgusting things. Then again, maybe it was supposed to be more disgusting. It could either make it or break it.

I guess the designs were pretty good. I don't like it how you used the same short audio loop. It should have been longer. It was already a loop. You have just done a lot better things.

golfinho responds:

thats is true.

I found this to be just mediocre. The main problem was that the animation wasn't very good. It seemed to drag on. Were the actors to close to the microphone? The voice acting seemed rough too. There should have been shading.

I guess it was at least kind of different. The animation was its own style. It seemed to move too slow. I have seen a lot better. I always want to see stuff with zombies.

rodstew2 responds:

Yep this was pretty weak film of mine, I made it back in high-school and have gotten a lot better with flash since then.

I am sorry, but I didn't care much for this. It was just a short cartoon with a single joke. I guess more people liked this. The voices are pretty good. I just watched that movie yesterday and you know what? This was still better than that movie!

The animation was pretty good. You got their looks down well. It just didn't seem to really make fun of the movie. There was a lot to make fun of! It's just one of your weaker cartoons.

M4KBOT responds:

I always enjoy your reviews!

Don't let what other people think of a submission sway you though, if you dont like something thats cool :)

YES, THAT WAS AWESOME! It's weird because I was just noticing how I hadn't favorited a lot of stuff here lately. I was afraid this website was declining. I am so glad this proved me wrong with how amazing it was. I admit that at first, it didn't seem like much. At 0:32, everything became wonderful.

I hope this becomes a series! The animation was absolutely flawless. The voice acting was incredible. Everything about it was adorable with great action, style, and elegance! You've created a wonderfully flashy world to live in. I can hear all the distinct voices.

Kreid responds:

Thanks a lot! Hoping to make more!

Raziberry was the only one I'd heard of. I love this if only because of how realistic it was. You were just talking about your experiences with the website. Then again, I don't know if any of this was real. Someone probably was high working on this. The colors were gorgeous.

You just come off as someone I'd want to talk to. I have been to numerous cons. I rarely get to meet people that I want to. I'm glad you guys have at least gotten close. You sound like you're having fun.

Raziberry responds:

I promise I wasn't high when I wrote this.
But I do have all those brain problems...

I was really amazed at how authentic this was. You really see slice of life stories here. It's nice to see something so mundane. The music was great. I really felt sorry for her in the flashback! That drawing looked nice enough!

The animation is quite good. It's just a very sincere little cartoon. I even liked hearing all that school stuff. It's been awhile since I've been there, but I remember what it's like. I'm glad you're promoting the formation of relationships like this.

KenSkaii responds:

Thanks for checking this out 10 years after it was made! I'm tempted to redo the audio to make it sound better and more presentable. I also saw all your other reviews. I appreciate you checking everything out!

I really like how you're trying something new here. I've never seen you do orcs before. Come to think of it, there's relatively few stuff about orcs here at all. The animation was as wonderful as ever. Do you ever get tired of making these high ranked cartoons? I mean, I think it would drive you nuts!

I'm glad to be a fan of your work. Then again, everyone is. You draw thick nipples. The final joke was probably the best. Are strokes contagious?

Sexual-Lobster responds:

haha thanks Ericho.
I don't think a great deal about how things will be received, I just try to make them good according to my own values.

someone said you can get strokes smoking meth, so maybe all the whores were smoking his meth behind his back?

It's great that you make consistently great cartoons. It’s nice to learn more about this guy. At the end, I can tell the girl’s name is Laura. It’s always great to mock censorship. I was confused as to why there weren’t more bleeps when he was in the sub. Then they came about!

It’s just great to have all these wacky images. I appreciate the length of these cartoons as well. It didn’t make much sense, but was quite funny. I just like the way his thoughts make things pop up onscreen. What does NWAR stand for?

danmarkowitz responds:

Glad you enjoyed it! NWAR doesn't stand for anything -- our hero is Detective Phillip Nwar, named after old film noir detective stories.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
