[Flapjack failed contest entry]

I do in fact remember these characters. It's sad to say I never watched the show. If I was a fan, I'd probably give this the full score. This really is some impressive work. You don't even recognize the characters at first. Well, that might be because I never watched the show, but that's not the point.

This is just wonderful abstract art you have. I've always been into those things. The captain looks like some kind of dolphin. The way his teeth go off is just grotesque, but awesome! Everything is so wonderfully distorted.

[One]

While not a classic, this was still very well done. You really do get a sense of understanding human anatomy. That's something I'm fascinated by. Then again, maybe you were just trying to be gross and stuff, but that's not the point. The point is that the shadings in this are done quite well. It's not as gory as it could be.

It looks like his skin has been ripped off. I don't see any skull where the brain should be under. I can understand where the title comes from. It seems like you got better as it went along. His flesh looks like a mustache.

I'm glad to introduce myself to your artwork. This is really great, man! I remember all the insanely creepy stuff you submitted in flash cartoons. I can easily recognize this. At least this one didn't have too many bodily fluids. I don't recall that enemy from the games.

Then again, I haven't really played them all. I love Link's eyes in this. It looks like his pupils are popping out of his head. The veins are greatly done too. Yeah, I know what Link looks like.

I was quite impressed at how charming this turned out to be. At the same time, I kind of don't like the way the eyes are done. It's a bit too cartoonish. It's still a wonderful art piece. She reminds me of the Jolly Green Giant. I don't see anyone but her in this picture. How can "everyone" die?

I guess fairies (or sprites?) are cool things to draw. They really do capture a good sense of innocence. There's a lot of detail put into everything here. I'd like to see it made in a full cartoon, if that's what you're aiming for. It's just a very charming picture.

[Pizzaface]

I remember seeing this kind of stuff in that one cartoon you made. Why does this have such a low rating? I thought it was great! It really does show off some well done imagery. I can tell that you put a lot of effort into this. At least the reviewers are nicer to it.

It really does look more like pizza than any ugly person I've seen. Then again, this guy technically is an ugly person. It seems like he's made of actual pizza. I like the occasional photograph here. Hey, maybe because it's not drawn that's why it's low rated?

[Donkey Kong]

I guess I can't really give this a perfect score because I have the same thoughts on it as I do the Mario one. Well, Donkey Kong's technically a Mario character. I really do love how you design these things. Everything just looks so perfect. His face is what really strikes me.

It seems very Homer Simpson-esque. I think Homer's mouth is modeled after a gorilla anyway. You really can see the little marks on his skin here. Actually, that's kind of gross. Still a wonderful picture.

[Mario]

I freaking love this! It reminds me of those "untoon" pictures I see a lot. What makes this better than those is because it's nowhere near as scary! I'm just impressed you managed to make this without looking too frightening. Then again, that may have not been your goal. I think you capture a cartoonish aspect quite well.

It's probably the most realistic drawing of Mario I'll ever see. The other ones just come off as creepy. I really do notice how wonderful the lines look. Honestly, I can see every part of his clothes. I can make out the cloth in them. That's rare in a picture.

Wow, that was very strange. I mean, strange as in it's not like the normal things you make. Then again, it seems like none of your art pieces are like that. I really did like how it seemed like some strange version of Samus. I guess the green and red just made me think of her. I like the reflection.

This really does show off some great creativity. I'm glad to know you've worked on different styles as an artist. It seems like all the best ones are British. He looks like he's in a battle from the position he's in. I'd like to see the rest of that.

[Birdy]

I am sorry, but I did not like this. I couldn't help but think there was some underlying tone I wasn't looking into. I can see the birdy's feet under the water. That's probably the most entertaining thing there was. Yeah, not much of a compliment. I don't know what kind of message you were trying to send.

I guess this was just something done fast and for fun. You could have put in some author's comments. If you had fun making this, good for you. I really don't recognize your style here. I believe that's a good thing.

While you don't have that many, this is easily your best picture ever! I think it's because it really is a new kind of thing for you to draw. I've never seen you go into the Madness work before. I at least think this was supposed to be a Madness character. If not, you've got something great in its own right! I like the little cuts.

Maybe next time, you could show this guy off in action. It almost looks like he has cat paws. Wait, is this supposed to be an enemy of Cat Face? I just watched an episode of him, so he's on my mind. How does he see?
