Rule 63!

I guess people obey certain rules of the Internet without even intentionally trying! This is a very interesting and well made picture. It's strongest points are that the colors and shading are really well done. It's also great to see all the detail put into making a feminine version of the Joker. I always kind of thought of Harley Quinn as being a female Joker. This is of course a more literal example and I can understand why this character is so popular.

People love male characters, so they'd probably also love female versions too. I like how this chick has such a long body and she's a Joker adjusted to have curves. Shotguns are probably the coolest kinds of guns out there. It's great to see all the different kinds of colors used. Granted, the Joker looked like that, but it's great to see it recreated.

Not familiar but great picture!

I am not familiar with Street Fighter Alpha. Geez, you would think a guy on this website would know everything there is to know about every popular video game. I can still appreciate the wonderful work done to show this character. It really helps that you show the sprite version of him in the background. It pretty much puts every sprite work out there to shame. It's been awhile since you've submitted a plain old cartoon or at least something with this artwork.

I like how there's so much detail put into every and every little crevice this character has. The best part is the shading because his body is covered in it. The outlines are not black, but instead they exist through the color of the character. It makes me appreciate all the hard work and effort put into making stuff like this. You can't see a single sprite cube in this!

Very nice!

As a big fan of "DuckTales" I thought this was an interesting picture. It mostly works because of how good the coloring and shading is. I see a lot of artworks going around that show human versions of popular animal characters. I was never a fan of those things, but I am really fascinated by this. The large eyes are probably the closest feature this drawing has to the duck characters. Interestingly enough, did you know that the guy who made "Astro Boy" said that large eyes in Donald Duck comics inspired him?

It's stuff like that made Disney comics shape the world. Another detail I like is how there is a nice way of showing off the little strands of hair the character has. I've always noticed how many hairs a person has and admired that sort of thing in drawings. She doesn't even look that menacing. The red background gives kind of a goofier tone.

I want some of that crunch!

Another one of your best art pieces (if not the best). What was awesome was how you included such a nice explanation of what was in the picture in your author's comments. I remember commercials for those kinds of cereals being played. I don't think I ever had any, but it would probably be the cereal I would want most. How ironic Fred Flintstone is the marketing character who has stood the test of time. Everything is just perfectly done in this.

I love the details put into all of the little cereal pieces presented. It's also great that you even describe the series in your comments. I'm not a fan, but can definitley appreciate its popularity, particularly with how it led to such sweet (literally) fanart! The shadings and lines around all of the clothes and faces are flawless. The letters are even written in an extremely awesome way! The backgrounds are great too.

This is weird

I guess I do have to appreciate these art pieces, because they are in fact completely ridiculous. I have no idea if you are trying to give out a political message or anything else. I didn't really care for this one because it didn't seem to have anything unique. I'm not sure what the big deal is about a guy with a lion's head. I notice that his hands indicated he's black. Is that because black people live in Africa and if so that's racist!

Well, I have to compliment you for having a unique style. I think the shading is a bit better in this one, but you still need work with the dark outlines. It looks like this dude has a candle on top of his drums. The other coloring effects are decent, but do often come off as being too weird. I still like it how he streaks off at the bottom.

Mekka23 responds:

Thanks for the feedback, His hand's are the same color as his fur, which is a dark brown. And even if i made him have black hand's it wouldn't be racist. Also, that's a crash cymbal and the candle object is the device to fasten it to it's stand

Very well detailed

Well, it's nice to get an art submission from you that doesn't involve rape in any way. There was barely anything suggestive about it at all! This is a great picture because everything is just wonderfully detailed. It reminds me of when there was a Castle Crashers series depicting the pink knight. It's great to see how many little details there are and how straight the lines are. It's even fantastic in the background with again, how it contrasts with the foreground.

Everything is pink, but it still shows you how awesome that color can be. I like how the character here is represented as being really spunky. Now, I don't know much about "Gears Of War" for comparison, but it's a flawless picture none the less. The weapon is awesome and makes you realize how detailed the game is. There's so many good details like the smoke coming out of the gun. Your signature looks nice in pink.

Not terrible

Forgive me as I did not find this as good as most people seemed to. I guess my problem is that it doesn't seem that unique. Then again, I have seen so many different art designs it's hard to even find ones that are unique. It does seem like you are trying to incorporate a style of your own and it's not that bad. The best thing is probably the shadings. It's not the highest class, but it does show that you put effort into showing the appearance of this lion.

I also like how the lion figure kind of melts down at the end. Well, fades away is the better term as it also does that with the guitar. It reminds me of those freaky commercails were people have animal heads. It's mostly dogs, but it was interesting to put a lion in it. I like the outlines might be a bit too dark, but not horrible.

FLAWLESS!

Dude, this is one of the greatest art pieces I have ever encountered on this website or even in general! It's just great to see all of these wonderfully bright colors. It was also a brilliant idea to completely omit the black lines and just let the colors tell the story. It makes me want to learn Japanese just so I can figure out what the neon lights mean! Every single line is wonderfully done and gorgeous to look at. I notice that there's only one lone plane going after the robot.

All of the proportions on everything is just perfectly done. I would just LOVE to see artwork like this be used in actual flash submission. All of these buttons and stuff on the robot make it lok so well detailed. It makes sense a Pac-Man poster would appear in a pixellated world colored red and yellow. Is the robot trying to say Bruce Willis' line from the "Die Hard" movies? This makes you want to go to Tokyo.

Quite innovative

It's always great to see innovative art pieces done on Newgrounds. Of all the ones I have seen, I found this to be quite original. It mostly works because the artwork is just fantastic. All of the lines are wonderfully done and it seems like it took forever to get the shading just right. I imagine that if a person had a robot arm like that, they probably would need to use maintenance like this. It's interesting to see something so high-tech go through mundane looking tweaking.

The background is awesome, particularly with how well it contrasts with the foreground. The way it is shifted out of focus is nicely done. What I also like about this is how the character's skin is drawn. It really gives an indication that this is an actual person with blood flowing through their body. The left half of the bench kind of looks like an anvil from where I'm reviewing.

Gorgeous...

This is among the most beautiful work I have ever come across on this website! The colors are beautiful and so lush. This reminds me of those great "Longcat" pictures that went all the way down. This is the probably the longest picture I've seen here and it does a great job of shifting emotions at the right time. Assuming that's Hell, it's like there is no Earth between them, only the effects of gravity to bring you, well, down.

The little girl portrayed here gives off a perfect sense of innocence. I love the way the demons are thrashing about and trying to invade the much higher better place. It's a perfect metaphor for the beauty and ugliness in the world around us. I am soooo glad this is not Sonic eating a hamburger. You are right in making three foot poster prints available of this masterpiece. May gorgeousness live on forever.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
