Nice drawing

I am glad that people are becoming aware of how that is not his actual name. While the monster is given no name in the book, author Mary Shelley herself called the monster "Adam". This is a good picture because it treats a public domain character the way he should be treated. There is no attempt to be flashy or anything, just a bare bones nice picture. I like how you can see all of the lines drawn on his face. It kind of looks like you were working on the sketch, but didn't get finished.

This works for his character because he is a monster made from dead people. It gives a good sense of how he has been stitched together like this. Speaking of stitches, the most prominent one featured here is really well drawn, BTW. The shading is so good it's hard to even tell what color it is. It gets more pink at the bottom.

I'm finally done!

This is another awesome picture because it captures the spirit of the scariest vampire ever. It's mostly because his apperance with the grotesque head and teeth are so frightening. I am not quite sure if this character is the same as Dracula. I heard some say that "Noseferatu" was actually an alias of Dracula. As this picture was done in black and white, you captured just how well he looked in the movie. It's kind of sad how people don't appreciate good movies that are really old.

Granted, modern film techniques are better but these are still classics. I think he may have the longest nails/claws of any character you have ever drawn. He appears to have blood running out of his mouth. It is a relief to finally have a look and review every single one of your art pieces. You are the first person with whom I have ever done that with.

I do agree, I end up meeting a lot of people who dislike silent films and classics on the basis of "they're old" or excuses like that.

Oh, I get it

The reason the Grim Reaper is everywhere is because he is witnessing the deaths of all the leaves. I used to think he would be too busy taking care of all the people who were already dying. Now he's going to have to deal with all the leaves too! The coolest thing is probably how good the artwork is and how well the colors mix together. It's just so awesome to see such lush colors blend together so well. I like how there's little patches of light along the ground.

I guess they are supposed to represent the sunlight going through the trees. It's interesting because if you look closely there actually are some good colors being used. Everything just look so natural, just like what you would see in a professional painting. I can see people like you working on things like that. The tassles of Death's clothing are great too.

What character?

I really don't recall this character in any other material I have heard of. It is always interesting when you do other people favors by showing off their original pieces. I can easily see you co-working with someone on a great flash with you credited as the artist. It's amazing how you always manage to make so many great pictures. The realistic use of markers gives off the impression of them being actual paintings. It seems like the woman was carrying a baby carriage.

I don't know what story you were trying to get, but this certainly seems to be leading up to one. I love how the floor just curls around the room before meeting the red wall. The background even comes off as like a face, with the boards as the teeth and the masks as eyes. This is extremely creative and again wonderfully uses the claw-like twists everywhere. Keep up this great work.

Hey, this is alright!

Now, I do prefer that you have color in your submissions, but this was still not bad. The good thing is that you manage to show different versions of this character. Most of the versions are similar but the two in the lower right hand corner are more abstract. I think it's interesting how they stand out, given their position. The best is when he's slowly shapeshifting because that has the most unique design. It seems like this character might be similar to the Slenderman.

The claws seem to be different in this one in that there are only a few on each hand. In one part, it seems more like he's holding something rather than a part of his body being shown. At least you are nice enough to include brief descriptions. I am very glad to hear that you were fortunate enough to be part of a comic book company. You definitley have potential.

No, it doesn't

I would be thinking that the first thing that would come up on the art portal for Explosm would be a comic. I am fairly certain you guys can put that stuff up. This picture is disappointing because it doesn't seem anything like you. Well, I know what it's like to submit something just for the sake of it being your first one. Now, the drawing itself is not a terrible one it's just that it isn't much. If you guys can draw like this it would be cool to see it in some of your submissions.

I really don't think this guy looks hungry at all, I think he looks more curious. It's the way he lifts up his eyebrow and looks over that gives me the feeling. It's more like he's trying to look at something we do not see. I actually think that would have made a much more intriguing description. Next time, try to put in more detail or put an actual comic here.
