Not a bad collab

It's been awhile since I've seen a collab game, so this was quite refereshing. What I didn't like about it was how it wasn't that well detailed. At least you guys managed to create some fairly different levels to interact with. I think the weirdest part about this was probably how I was foolish enough to go with the "Hard" mode at first, which was a disaster. I also liked how you could play Pong while you waited for the game to load. It's fairly nice all around.

Now, it could have more going on but a collab like this doesn't need that. If a game was really that complicated, it would have made a submission in itself. It's interesting to hear how things worked out for this. I liked the wide variety of songs being used. Seeing as how it's numerous games, it makes sense there would be a lot of music.

Fairly well done

What I found to be strange about this was how it looked like I was playing Sasuke. I don't know why this would have a "Naruto" character in it. I guess some people don't like this because it's like a ripoff of "Tetris'd". While the two games are similar, they are still quite different and this is not as good. This does have good styles in its own right because I liked how there were a lot of different sizes. The arrangements the blocks made were really cool.

The weirdest part was probably how I swear I could jump through the bricks. Of course, most of the time, I could not. I don't really know what's up with that, but it isn't that bad of a game. You could have probably made it a little better detailed, as the background was kind of bland. It's the kind of game that's probably above average.

How wonderful!

This was one of my favorite games when the original version came out so it's great to see this! What I love about this is how you have truly improved in terms of graphics. It's only been a couple of years, but it looks so different! I do, however, think I might like the other one better because this one didn't have gameplay that was as good. It's still great to play and it's wonderful that you made it. The music is flawless and really gives you a sense of being in a peaceful world.

It's weird to see those looming shadowy cultish figures sometimes. The rest of the game has such a playful tone, but that's fairly dark. At least you get a good oppurtunity to look into every crevice. I've noticed that this time it seems like you can jump from one place to another with the map a lot easier. That's still not the best thing to do, because there are hidden things to explore that are not on the map. It's simply an all around great game.

Nice for what it is

I would probably enjoy this a lot more if I had some idea as to how to get ahead in it. The weirdest thing is that you don't have much control over your ship. It would help if you could get a clearer view of what's going on and where your ship will land. I will have to give you credit for creating some fairly good music to go with this. It's very ambitious sounding music and it makes you want to go on. I like how it brings a sweet tone to the overall game.

The graphics weren't bad, but I felt this could have been more detailed. At least this has a fairly fun appeal to it. I guess next time, you could make it so that you didn't have to start all the way from the beginning on the first level if you fail. The colors look fairly nice in this. It really looks like you had a fun time making this with its nice appeal.

Thank you for your critique, I've tried it with the trajectory lines always on, and it doesn't work out very well in motion. We are thinking about working on a sequel where you can pause the ships movement to aim your trajectory changing shot.. and offering the standard slingshot type of control like most of these games have as a default option and leaving in this skill click system as an optional gameplay mode. Also you can skip the tutorial in the first level, there is a skip button on the bottom left =)

It gets better

What I found to be coolest about this was how well it was in terms of pacing. Everything just goes so wonderfully together when you're firing at everybody. It was great how you really had an oppurtunity to dodge the bullets. The guys with the rapid fire machine guns were the worst. It's nice to review something by you as it seems like it's been awhile. I hope you had a merry Christmas even though this had nothing to do with the holiday.

I couldn't understand the title, but the game was so fun I simply didn't care at all. It's also nice how you had such a good variety of music being played and stuff. It's nice to see me going out and making carnage in this weird world. I do wish that the enemies had some better designs to them. It just seemed like the same thing over and over.

Arkuni responds:

It's always nice to see reoccuring reviewers :)
Yeah, more enemies would have been optimal but I had to cut some corners to get it out in a timely fashion.

Another strange game

Here's another game where all the medals are secret. I couldn't tell you how to get them, because it's up to you guys to figure it out. What I found to be really cool about this was how fast paced it was. I didn't even realize this was a defense game at first. This one is really cool because of how simplistic it is. Even with its simplicity, it manages to be very effective in being entertaining because there's simply so much going on.

You have to keep on turning the turrets into fighting mode or whatever. I like how fast everything moves in this. It's so hard to keep track of because it just all whizzes by you so much. I appreciate all the hard work put into making something as cool as this. Oh, and I hope you had a merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas!

It's always nice to see Christmas stuff. What really struck me about this as cool was how everything has such a sweet demeanor. The weakest part was probably how it didn't seem to really add that much that was really new to the table. It was hard for me to tell at times exactly how I was supposed to play it. It looked like some of the screens were just loading parts, but they were in fact part of the game. It's great that you're trying to take part in the Christmas spirit.

I hope you had a great Christmas. The first version of this game was so popular I am quite surprised that this has relatively few views. The music was nice and it was just interesting feel good music. You probably could have detailed this better with a stronger emphasis on using different colors. It's stuff like this that makes me wish I could see snow, even though this wasn't snow.

Presented well

What I liked about this was how well you made the graphics. There isn't that much in terms of graphics, but it's actually pretty cool to look at. What I especially like is in the opening where you get a great overview of the game. Even the pictures on the cards are very well done. It seems to be a new kind of sprite use, or at least a fairly original one. What I was freaked out was how many different tiles there were and I am glad to know the same kinds are used more than once.

I'm not kidding, I got the first set right on my first try! It's the kind of game where you obviously have to form a map in your mind. It's just cool to see how many you can do in a single time and it's nice to see how it goes out in your mind. Mario is one of those characters who will never die out in popularity no matter what you do with him. Oh, and Merry Christmas!

Cool game!

I think there might have been some error, because I died on the first level on my first try. What I really like about this game is how you are easily able to go back and make up for your mistakes. The coolest part is probably how you guys keep up this great animation. It's really just one guy, Matthew Annal, who does this? You are so good at this it seems like you should be on a website with other works that you founded. It's just as fun as ever.

While it wasn't about Christmas, it was at least a Winter game, which reminded me of Christmas. Speaking of which, Merry Christmas now and forever! I have had myself a great day watching a movie and just having dinner with my grandparents. Anything winter related can be like Christmas. I hope you continue to make great games.

Now that's something!

Well, it doesn't have that much going on, but it certainly doesn't need to! This is a great submission mostly because you can get anything you want! I find it hard to believe there are even enough medals listed for what you can get. This is something you should play if only because you'll get some great medals with it. Maybe someday I'll get every single one. Thank you, for making such a well working non sequitor movie that's so well.

It seems like you just opened up a dictionary and got every "B" word you can find. Well, you probably only went for the more well known ones. The voice is pretty nice in this too. This is something really unique because of how ridiculous it is. I can just go on for all eternity pressing these buttons and having medals pop up over and over!

BanglaBoy96 responds:

Thanks man! :) It did take A LOT of time and effort to put together (especially the typing and voices)
Thanks I love reading your reviews :)
