Name it!

I assumed this was going to be more about Pico characters, but it actually wasn't. What was really cool about this was that there was such a massive variety of people to choose from! It almost makes me ashamed that I did not do better with this. I'm one of the most prolific reviewers in online history for crying out loud! I can't really give any hints because to describe everything would take too long. Besides, what I could describe everyone would know already.

At least this had a lot of things going on and it was an amusing submission for Pico Day. I like the sounds especially the clicking ones you made when you got something right. It's a bit hard to tell the names of some of these characters as I'm only familiar with the series they are from. It makes it easier when the series is named after the main character. Boy, was this harder than I thought.

Quite a lot of fun!

This was really cool to play because you had a really original theme to it. The coolest thing was how you were able to let the game play itself for only for a few times. I kind of would have liked it if there were more enemies, but that might be a cliche. I liked the part in the opening about the honeycomb being worth a platformer game. If you can collect as many parts as that, I say it's worth it. What was also cool was the truly upbeat music.

I thought at first that maybe you would have to keep your cursor on the purple object to get across, but you don't. That is a very nice touch and is quite convienient for the player! Everything here just had a really colorful appeal to it. It's just the kind of lighthearted thing to play in your spare time. BTW, this is the first review I've written since I went to my graduation today!

Still a good game

I imagine it must be strange getting this Daily Feature award on Pico Day. This was still cool because it had all the features that made the other games so good. This is really a game where you have to go to the tutorial. While I was familiar with the gameplay, I was still completely lost with this. The best part was being able to speed up the action. If you are in a hurry for whatever reason, that always is a plus.

I also really like the graphics and the designs of the monsters that are attacking you. It's fun to just see the little sparks fly around and hit the enemies. Another nice touch was how you were able to pause it any time you wanted. The sound effects were nicely done, especially with the pouring rain. Those jewels are pretty.

Those arenas!

This was a very interesting game to play because the graphics were done very well. It seemed like you really knew where you could go in your enivronment. The only downside is that the controls are a bit annoying. I can get used to them, but it becomes frustrating when I know I'm firing right next to some guys, but I guess I'm too close. It's still creative with all the environments Pico is in. I wanted to also say that this is the first Pico flash for 2011 I have reviewed today!

It also managed to be the first game on the front page and with medals! The music was decent and fits the urban mode of the game. It looks like we have a good enough logo for Pico Day this year as well. You just need to work on controls and not make it so hard to fire as it seems to be more precise than some games. At least it's fun destroying the enemies!

I've added shooting someone while they're right next to you of my list of bugs and stuff to do. Hopefully that should be in the upcoming patch along with other fixes and tweaks.

Not bad, in fact I like it!

This was a good game because it was made with a fairly good amount of spirit. What was also neat was how cute the sounds and everything else really was. It was fun to just watch these little critters plop around the screen going from one place to another. While a bit difficult, it's of course something that you have to learn to get used to. It is not the most detailed game, but it doesn't have to be to be playable. The coolest thing was learning how each character's limitations helped you.

I don't know what these guys are supposed to be, but they're pretty cute. These guys kind of look like the claymation dudes from "Gumby". The music is also fairly cheery as well. It was interesting to throw in a level editor as well as custom made levels by users. It was also nice to have something to collect in the game.

Kenney responds:

Hah yeah, they DO look like Gumby characters :) Thanks for your review!

Nice little game

This was a pretty interesting game to play mostly because the graphics are good. The only problem is that it can get confusing on how you're supposed to build everything. I think you're originally just going to send the guys after you and the towers you build are more extra things. The best thing is how the graphics move so clearly in this game. It's stuff like this that makes freeworldgroup impressive. It's a bit of a headstratcher when you're the only one credited with it.

I also like it how the characters just seem to plop around the screen. You really have to be wise with your spending, because pyramids are quite expensive. There's also a good amount of detail into the background. Now I can't tell if the defense word is spelled with a "C" or "S". It was funny to see the little bullets fly out of the characters' bodies.

Good for something quick

This game definitley had fun parts to it, but its main fault was that there was fairly little detail in it. I would have liked it if it was more than just the same set of gray blocks over and over. I still have to praise it because the sound effects are good. I also think it's cool how this game just seems to go on forever. I have not yet gotten past the first level but I wouldn't be surprised if you were pulling one on me. I don't see why people would consider this stolen.

I mean, it has a fairly small number of views so it can't be that popular. I wish I could understand what the title means. It's interesting for a quick play but probably not the most addictive thing out there. At least you get some happy feelings swinging around. It feels that people should be making more swing games.

How does it start?

There must have been some glitch or something because it automatically took me to Level 9 at first. I am glad it did not start off being that hard. The best thing about this was the graphics. The plane itself seemed to have this really impressive design with how CGI it looked. In fact, even when the plane crashed and burned, it was actually cool to watch! My biggest gripe is that you could have put in a background.

There isn't a lot of space to go around when there are so many other obstacles around. At least the obstacles have different degrees of danger. It was nice how you could select any level you wanted to go on your own pace. I should have read the title better to understand the gameplay. The controls are pretty easy.

Not bad

I didn't even know this was a game at first. Judging from the title, it seemed like it was going to be a regular cartoon. This was still pretty fun to play because it is fairly harder than it looks and you do have to memorize every single thing that goes on. What I did not like was that the animation you showed didn't look that good. I have no idea if this is based on an anime or some cartoon but the quality coudl have been higher. At least you seemed to have a good sense of spirit.

What I also liked was how there was a difference between "Almost" and "Miss". There could have also been perhaps some more detail in the background. I am not a big fan of this music but it's alright. Next time I suggest probably having slicker artwork, but then again I'm not a fan of games like this anyway. It's impressive you've managed to make so many games.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
