Loved the slo-mo

This was a very nice game of me to play, simply because I love the graphics. It was a little annoying with how I was not able to go anywhere, but still good. I just wish that I could shoot those stupid grannies that keep popping up. I also love how the madness just seems to never end and while it is hard, it does give you time to come up with strategy. There is so little thought to this game, I could not help but love it. The slow motion is among the most fun that I have ever seen used in any game here.

Arkuni responds:

All my submissions have slow-motion somewhere.
People can love it & hate it all they want. I'm still gonna use it ^_^

Great title

I knew this was going to be a very interesting game just from the great title it had. At first, I thought it might be a joke game where it was simply no gameplay at all and that guy talking on for so long. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it did indeed have a story and adventure of its own. I do not know how to talk to the princess or fight the dragon or anything. It is still a very cute effort because you are simply able to have those cute little graphics. I like how stupidly the character's legs move.

squidly responds:

Ouch, I don't like those "joke games" where the joke is that the game doesn't exist.
I like some substance, you know?
And uh, to talk to the princess, I mean, it's just like the info booth guy.
And the dragon, just keep going right... You'll go through the "dangerous outside," the forest of homicidal trees, and eventually you'll get to his cave.

I am a fast typer

I was also a fast typer and this seemed to be a good way to test out my true skills. My highest score is 269,000 which at least ended me up on the Top 40. I love this game simply because I have always prided myself on being a great typist and this is such a great way to do it. It reminds me of that scene in the movie "Bruce Almighty" where Bruce basically does that. He is, in fact, playing God in that scene. I like the holy music that is played to truly give the player a sense that he or she is a God.

A good game

I kept thinking that this was going to be an actual tutorial about how to make a game like this in Flash Player. I mean, that was the title, but this was interesting to play at least. It has been awhile since I have played a game like this, so it is good to be back. You were definitley right on how Level 7 was the hardest one (or at least the hardest so far). My biggest complaint is that the graphics are a little simplistic. It is still a creative game and gives you a lot of freedom to make strategy and combos.

kegogrog responds:

Wow, thank you. I thought this game was already buried somewhere deep under newgrounds' floor tiles. You may enjoy FLU!!2, same concept, better graphics.
Anyway, thanks for your review and the tutorial is on my blog.

FLAWLESS!

This is easily one of the best games that I have ever played! I simply love all of the powerups and how they all have such unique characteristics to them, especially with how you can divide them up into four balls! There are small balls and giant balls flying everywhere exploding everything in sight! It is perhaps the most epic javanoid like game that I have ever played! The graphics are superb, and everything is done in an extremely original manner! I loved every second of playing this!

Thank you for the great review! We're very happy that you enjoyed the game.

Nice that you respond

"A Christmas Story" is also one of my favorite movies as well. I used to go on to soundboards all the time, but I do not really do that much more, as people do not make them anymore. That being said, I am very glad you went along and made this. It obviously has everything that you could want in a "A Christmas Story" soundboard. It is interesting to just put all of the sounds on and one time and find out which takes the longest to hear. The soundboards and the sounds in this themselves give you nostalgia.

Frenzy responds:

Thanks man! It is one of the greatest movies of all time, particularly to watch around Christmas time.

Quite an onslaught

This was an underappreciate game I played and a very unique one. At first, I thought it was just going to be like this other game that had medals, but it was quite different. While the graphics were not flawless, it was still really fun to play. I do not quite understand how to get the upgrades, but that is my fault. It is embarassing how I was killed with that one boss not even by the boss himself, but by the little spiders it sent out. It is a pretty interesting environment and it is always fun to shoot guys up.

ZT responds:

Oh, man! Got snuffed by the spiders, huh? Don't be embarrassed, they can be tricky ;)

Upgrades are handled in the Shop, which is located in the Main Menu to the right of the Campaign button. Hope you can find it!

Thanks for playing, glad you liked it!

Great game!

This was a very enjoyable thing to play and to watch as well. I was disappointed it was a little short, but with all the different ways you can do things, makes it last longer. I am glad to be introduced to a new author and a new style of things to make. The animation was great in this and the gameplay reminded me of the "Johnny Rocketfingers" series. This, however, worked really hard to make an original style. The voices are also done quite well and it was also pretty unpredictable.

PuffballsUnited responds:

Yeah, it's short if you only play through one ending, but if you go for all three endings, and all the FAILs, the movie is almost 9 minutes long!

Another great zombie game!

What is so impressive is that people never fail to entertain me with zombie games. Sure, I realize now that is pretty much the same thing in every single game. However, the idea is that you are not changing a good idea, which this definitley is. The zombies and the graphics are all used quite well. It seemed like it was taking forever to just kill all the zombies on a single level, which is probably the point of the game. At least you are able to get upgrades in a fairly easy way.

Xplored responds:

yes, we preferred to let you focus on action, while giving upgrades in an easy way.
For the curious players: each weapon upgrade increases damage, rate of fire, magazine capacity and reloading time (in a different measure weapon by weapon).

Pretty good game

I admit that the graphics in this were pretty simplistic looking. Of course, seeing as how it had such an upbeat tune, I could not help but think that that was part of the appeal of the game. I am not able to advance very far, due to some glitch where I keep jumping up and down. When I do that, I hit the red square which kills me simply be touching it. This game does seem to have some appeal, due to the fact that it has a really cute premise. It has most of the things you would want in a game like this, and the music is pretty nice.

candyapplezero responds:

I'm glad u like the music.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
