Hard, but original

I wasn't even aware you only had to control one of those pong things (on the right)in the first place! I admit that the idea was pretty original, and it was cool to merge two really popular similar games into one.

Ab9003 responds:

Thanks :).

Dull, but informative

While not on par as a lot of other tutorials, it was still good because this is pretty relevant information that a person should know when making flash.

Renandchi2 responds:

Dull... D:
Just kidding, thanks!

Pretty good game

I didn't even expect this to be a game in the first place! Anyway, the enemies were fun to destroy and I like how you could jump so high with those attacks. I will say that I'm not very good as this game, as it just seems too hard. I mean, these guys can hurt me so easily, especially the tank guy, I can barely do anything without getting hurt! Still, nice enough to recommend, I suppose.

MasterMarioMX responds:

Well, thank you! it's supposed to be a little hard to play actually, but I might change that a little in the next game, if i ever make it!

Great point-and-click game!

I was never really a fan of point-and-click games, but this one worked very well for me. It helped that the idea was so easy for me to follow, and it was really just a matter of finding things and narrowing down your choices. While the graphics weren't that great, it was still a very well done game.

JunkYardAnimations responds:

thanks a lot :)

Best game I've seen in awhile

Sure, there weren't a lot of great effects, but this idea was so cool!! I'm a defenseless ship in space where my only attack is to make other ships attack each other! It's just so satisfying to see a homing shot hit another guy. I see that you make exactly one flash/game a year. Maybe you could break the pattern and give us more of these great games!

moogoat responds:

I don't actually calculate it, it just happens! I've gotten a lot better at Flash, so I think my output can be a bit faster now :P

Besides, all these great reviews really get me going! Thanks!

First time

This the first time I've reviewed a flash (or game) that was the newest in coming to the portal, and let me say it was good! It helped that I'm such a big fan of cats and it was so cute overall. The best part is how your movement affects the movement of the people/obstacles. Very original concept. Good for you, and I sure hope this gets passed!

Megadev responds:

Thanks for the review - glad you like it! It's very hard to come up with anything completely original these days, but we can't think of any other games that use the same mechanism.

Cheers!

Megadev.

Nice job for a first game!

This was pretty fun to play. I didn't even realize you could attack the enemies at first! I would like to say that I wished there was more music. Still, it was a good achievement for a first game! You have some potential.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Yeah I havent made a game in a loongggg time.. but I am working on one right now!

Nice tutorial

While I was not interested in reading every little thing, it's still a very useful game/flash. If I DO ever make flash one day, this would be a good way to start!

Girdf responds:

thanks. recommend this to the flash tutorial collection :)

Very original

I'm going to admit that this was a very original concept. Finding differences has become kind of cliche, but by adding a moving story going in, it keeps you on your toes!

pseikow responds:

Thanks a lot, you got our point.
It had been a project for an animation course and since we put this kinda twist in, it kept us on our toes as well :)

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
