This game was a lot more complicated than I thought. It really did make me think, so I liked it. I'm glad I got one medal, even though it didn't show up on the screen. Whatever, this really was a very smart game. I think the best part is when you dash so fast. I was wondering how I was supposed to get past some parts.

It works as a puzzle game but could also be something else. It certainly required you to do some action. There's no medal for not skipping the opening cutscenes. I always look for those in secret levels. The sounds were pretty cool too.

swishcheese responds:

Thanks for the awesome review. Check the walkthrough if having trouble get by some parts. sorry didn't include a medal for not skipping intro scene. That would have been a good idea.

I admit to being confused by this game. I don't even think it had that much to do with robots. I didn't like it how there was not any sound. I guess it was nice to get some easy medals. It still didn't really amount to much in the long run. I didn't even know how to get past the second level!

The design isn't that bad. I think I know what a synapse is. It's something to do with the brain. I think you shouldn't live up to your name, lol. I'm sorry, but while it was pretty original, it needed some sounds and better gameplay.

TerribleDesign responds:

To get past the second level you need to move diagonally into the three blue arrows. That way you will not be pushed down into the red wall. I have noticed that several medals in later levels are not achieved as often, so you are not alone in getting stuck at the second level. I didn't think that it would cause that much trouble. Now I know better! Also, you can get quite a few medals without getting past the second level it will just take a long time.

Could you expand on your gameplay comment? What exactly in the first two levels did you not like?

I guess this game doesn't work that well on its own. It's still hard to hate it because it was pretty good. I really had no idea what would happen next. I managed to get the secret medal. I think the drawings were really quite good in this. Of course, everyone's drawn pokemon.

Yeah, it's impossible to win. You certainly had me guessing. I even liked your voice. This was a bit too short, though. I felt you could have used more jokes. Then again, it was made in a short time.

Made this bad boy in 13 hours.
Thank you so much for the feedback, brother, I really do appreciate it and I must say that I agree entirely with everything you've said. Cheers.

I think there might be something wrong with this. I got a medal, but then it didn't show up. It happened when I refreshed the page. I still think this is a pretty good game. I am not that interested to get too much into it, though. I don't really like these kinds of games.

It still has a lot of hard work put into it. I especially like how well detailed everything is. It's always nice to get a big open picture of everything that's going on. I'm kind of familiar with the games you mentioned. The music gives off a great feeling of outer space.

JackAstral responds:

Thanks for playing + reviewing :)

I'm not sure about the medals thing- it seems to be working properly for me. I'll look into it!

I really did enjoy this, if only because of how simple it was to understand. That didn't mean I was that good at it. Then again, it seems like most people aren't. You do know how to motivate the player. No one wants to see a dead kitten! Well, except at Kitten Cannon!

I was amazed at how simple this was. It was still very difficult. I like crocodiles too. It seemed like it was mostly luck for awhile. I also like the music.

Wiesi responds:

Thanks for the review!

I found this to be a good game. I've had a rough day, so I want an easy medal or two. The best part was probably how it was easy to understand. I think it could have been more detailed, though. It does seem like a game that motivates you to go on. You have a nice voice cast too.

I thought KirbzVA was related to Kirbopher. I do not think so. The music is quite nice and soft. I always like people who create a large environment. It makes you remember how much work was put into making the game.

TheEnkian responds:

Haha, some of the medals will be easy, others will require a lot more work to reach. I don't believe there's any relation to Kirbopher there. Glad you appreciate the amount of work that's done into the game because believe me, there was a lot :D

Well, I guess this wasn't that bad of a game. What struck me as strange was how it didn't have that much going on. It seems like you had to advance a lot in order to get the medals. Of course, most games are like that anyway. Except for the easy ones. I was impressed by all the music in this.

I really like the title, even though I don't understand it. I think the designs are pretty silly. That was probably intentional. While not terrible, I don't think I would recommend it. It was pretty alright, I suppose.

BoobMarley responds:

lol, "Wouldn't recommend it... 3.5/5 Stars" Looking at your medals, you didn't even finish the game.
I love the NG community so much.

Yes, the wiggly portrait style is intentional. That's how I do.
The "Chalice of Marfa" is the name of the macguffin mentioned repeatedly in the game, so that should really be all there is to understand as far as titling goes. Right?
Lastly, I got all the wonderful music from an obscure website called the Newgrounds Audio Portal.

Well, I have reached a point where I can not advance. It was pretty fun while it lasted. I didn't understand what it was all about. I do like the notion of cats dreaming. This is his dream, right? I found the graphics to be pretty good.

While I couldn't get that far, it was good from what I was able to do. I like how you can save the game like that. Of course, that's an indicator it's going to take awhile before you can get that medal. The music was really soothing. In case you're wondering, I'm typing this review in a hotel in front of ocean waves.

Raiyumi responds:

Thanks. And lucky you! I'd like to go out traveling sometime. :)

YES!!! NEVER in my entire life have I worked harder on a game than this one. It took me two and a half hours to beat this stupid thing and I've finally done it! I was just amazed at how hard the first boss was. You really did have to predict every single move he could make. I couldn't even touch the final one, not that I really even care. The graphics were fantastic and I loved the wide variety of enemies.

I just HAD to get a medal in this. I've written more game reviews than anyone online! I just have to say I love this because of how hooked I got to it. I imagine beating the final boss unlocks the other modes. I had no idea what kind of crazy thing would show up next! I had a hell of a time playing this and I got my medal!

Morbidware responds:

Hi, thank you so much and congratulations on killing Yog!

I found this game to be okay. I did not like the controls. If you're going to move with the arrow keys, then you should be able to jump with them too. I didn't think the designs were anything that good. I would have preferred if you just jumped on enemies to kill them. Then again, people might claim that was a ripoff of Mario.

The music's fairly nice. I can't really get much control out of this guy. I wish I could kill the spike guys. They at least SEEM like they're alive, not that that's stopped people from not killing them before. I wasn't even motivated enough to get a medal.

TheEnkian responds:

Fair enough, the game may not appeal to everybody. Thanks for giving it a shot though. Honestly, the carrot spikes were just animated because it was nice to have them animated rather than them actually being alive.

The musician, Lloyde, reads these too so he'll be glad to hear you liked his tracks!

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
