I found this to be a fairly enjoyable game. I did have the complaint of how hard it was on the second level. It just seemed impossible to get the right angle. I also think that the graphics could have been better. It was a bit hard to even see that those things were candy. It still isn't bad at all.

I like games where you can float with fans. It's just a very cool concept to me. The music is fairly good. As it's December, it really does remind me of Christmas candy. It's simply quite popular around that time of year.

EggysGames responds:

Thanks, it's a very old game now of mine I didn't realise it still got plays at christmas so thats great. Yeah the game was a little too hard lol, needs toning down. Thanks for the review.

Well, I wasn't very turned on by this game. It just had too many faults. The worst part was probably how I could not really tell how to advance. It was apparently the same level. I don't think I did anything particularly wrong there. I managed to get a medal for trying.

It also didn't help that there was no music. It came across as too bland. I couldn't really tell the difference between what the keys and hourglasses did. I assume I had to collect them all to advance. That's one stupid expression.

sabikDK responds:

Thanks for you review, but Reading could have solved the hourglass problem ;) the hourglass freezes the time for one sec. And you'll have to collect all all Keys to finish the level. I'll trye to make This more clear in the next version ;)

I was quite surprised at how much fun I had with this. I think its biggest strength was how you are just so motivated to see what happens next. You probably could have made a new enemy appear, but that's okay. I couldn't control myself when I was jumping with those henchmen. I didn't have much trouble in the air though. The music is pretty nice.

I'm surprised this didn't win a higher award. I guess you have competition or something. I was in fact thinking this would be more of a standard platformer. It's still a very nice game. I'm glad you don't have to search anywhere for a shop.

rhys510 responds:

Waw thanks :P - i released it with loads of bugs still in the game as it was a 5 month project and i was getting to the point of no return (stuck doing nothing with the game) so one night i stayed up and finished then released it without get any beta testers for the last test ><

thanks :D

I knew it would be a game like this with that title. I don't know why, but the drawings reminded me of Dave (from Retarded Animal Babies). Of course, this game didn't have near as much nudity as his usual stuff. I think it's pretty cool to have so many of these things. What makes it better is how there is always something different going on. It keeps you on your toes.

I also appreciated the music. Maybe it could have used a background, but it's still great. It's better than something like the OCD game where you just do the same thing forever. This game should have medals. A pity it seems to be too late.

RatherRandomReality responds:

Thank, Ericho. I don't think it's ever too late for medals. I'll see if I can throw some in there in the future. Check out the sequel "The Timewaster Ultra" as well, cheers.

Is "Chimeny" how it's pronounced in the UK? I just assume all alternate spellings are from there. It is where the English language came from, after all! I really like how simple it is. Unfortunately, it can be a bit unrewarding. I don't see why these giant meatballs are supposed to be gifts. It is a unique design at least.

It seems a bit too slow, so it is good when you speed it up. A pity one hit kills you. You really have to get close to them, which is dangerous. Timing is everything here. I know this sounds kind fo weird, but Happy Thanksgiving!

Skeik responds:

This was back before I cared to check the spelling of my games haha. I'm honestly surprised you found this game at all, seeing how it's 7 years old!

I get what you mean about it being unrewarding, I had a lot of ideas I didn't really know how to implement. Thanks for playing and reviewing though, I've noticed you reviewing a lot of my games lately.

There is definitley something wrong with the medal system. I manage to get at least two of them, but only one show up on screen. At least I can still review most things. I admit that I'm kind of turned off by the idea of not having a means of defense. Of course, I'm sure there's some item that helps you out with that. The music is pretty sweet.

I just like how the colors are done in the style of a Game Boy game. Nostalgia is always good. There were some pretty interesting locations and enemies. It did, however, take awhile for it to truly be enjoyable. It's still pretty much worth the wait.

AdventureIslands responds:

If by defense you mean a weapon, well you get throwing knives little later on to defeat enemies and to solve puzzles with.

Wow, you certainly know how to make someone eager for something. I think I had in fact heard about this. I knew what it would be like from the background. I'm sorry, but I'm pretty low on money. This actually is a pretty entertaining game in itself. The music really does set the mood.

I appreciate you making a game with such a noble cause. Hopefully, more people will become aware of it. I don't need to just click on the red cross, as it works for anything. A pity you can't win this game. Well, you can certainly help.

keybol responds:

That's great to hear. There are worse pictures and videos than the background. If you get to see it, it will really affect you like what it did to me. You're right, the idea isn't to reach the red cross link, just be aware of it as there are many ways to send help.

It's pretty hard to rate something when you have no clue how to succeed in it. I am familiar with the story of the scorpion and turtle. Then again, I didn't read that hard, so maybe I'm thinking of something else. I thought the music was quite nice. It does in fact have a pretty clear format. I just couldn't get far in it.

You do not get a medal from not skipping. Maybe you do and it's just not working at the moment. I like how slice of life this is. I'm not just into these kinds of games. I guess that's kind of too bad, seeing the sheer number of reviews I've done.

Tumetsu responds:

To succeed in the game you have to read at least some of the text since it gives hints etc. Only thing you have to do is to get the turtle out while avoiding to get stung.
Game doesn't really have relation to the story. Actually I heard about it only afterwards :)
No you don't get medal from not skipping.

I admit that this game wasn't quite as good as I thought it would be. It just has a very cool layout. I think I'm going to the next stage at least when I'm at the end of the screen and start something new. I did like how fast paced it was. These are what a lot of classic arcade games were like. The enemies don't seem that alien to me.

They seem more robotic. I think the graphics are done pretty well. You really have to learn how to duck. It's nice to have some pretty good variety in how the enemies look. All in all, definitley a good game.

SinclairStrange responds:

I made it pretty quick, the main bulk was done in five days while I spent an extra day making an extra level when I waiting for Halloween to die down. Given more time and more resources I would of made it more rich with enemy designs and weapon pick ups.

Thanks for the review, it's just a little hard to make "alien" sprites with such a limited palette and size annoyingly :P

Just in time for Halloween! I was truly impressed by this, seeing as how everyone's done with real photographs. If not, then they're pretty dang realistic! I just appreciated how quiet everything was. It really set up the atmosphere. Most people should be able to do this, but I'll mention it anyway.

The master key found in the glove compartment opens the door. The scariest part was probably when the dead body was shown. Yeah, our protagonist definitley saw that. I had a great Halloween this year and I hope you did too! The dripping sounds are great too.

Asvegren responds:

thanks for the kudos, and yes, i had a good halloween!
