Very fast paced!

I just love a game that knows how to be fast paced, but at the same time isn't too hard. The only one that I really had a problem with was Level 03 in the first world. Thank you for answering my question. That is probably the worst part of it, because it is hard to remember how you jump. It's still great to go across all these cool levels blasting everything in sight! The funny thing is that I died in every way except being eaten by the monster.

Running, shooting, and jumping are great staples of any game. The detail in this game is especially good with the uniqueness of the enemies. They're so ugly you're encouraged more to kill them! It might be hard to keep up for some people, but I had a great time playing this. I chose a rabbit design the whole time.

Joelasticot responds:

Glad you liked it! And I'm sure the rabbit ears helped with your jumps

Very nicely done!

I'm not a fan of point and click adventures (especially when all you have is one secret medal) but this was fun. I really admired the amount of time put into all of the detail. It's great to see such a wide environment for the player to explore. All of the creatures have a nice original design to them. There is just such a nice rainbow of colors to go along with this fine game. It's hard to not like it, especially when you can advance pretty well while not being good at it.

I really like how this created your own strange world. It seems hard to believe this was based on Little Red Riding Hood or whatever it was. It's so innovative it seems like everything was something you created yourself. The sound is nice and sets up a good mood. This didn't come off as being scary to me, just more mysterious.

Hyptosis responds:

Thanks! I always planned the story to be more of a detective tale rather than a spooky one, but the story lends itself easily to fantasy halloween type elements.

Quite different

Well, I was hoping to walk away from this game with at least one medal and I did! I got the medal for having a 35+ combo! This wasn't as enjoyable as a lot of other games like this, mostly because it was a lot harder. I don't like it how you have to form a perfect cube. Then again, I have to give it credit for being unique. The music wasn't bad, and while a bit irritating, it did contribute to the more fun parts of the game.

It's cool how everything changes color when you go to another level. The graphics are pretty good. When something is just a bunch of squares over and over, you know you're good when you manage to make that look impressive. The bombs are easily the things you want to get the most. I'm not even sure how they work!

Azh321 responds:

Thanks a lot for your review. You should try the game out again some time, im sure you can figure out the bombs and how the combos work. Try to break your personal high score!

Nutty game!

I found this to be better than the first game, if only because it was a lot zanier. It really helps that the tone changes so quickly. First, we get to the part with the darkness and nothing happens and then we get this fast paced mine game! That is easily the hardest because you move too slowly. When I press the up button to get up, I don't have enough time to press it again as I don't hit the ground again! Anyway, the music (wherever it was) was extremely fitting as well.

For the first level, try to completley avoid the part of the bridge that will fall down. In the next part of the level, try to just jump at the beginning so the spikes won't hit you on the way down. Oh, and be sure to catch those buttons. It can be so annoying when your reaction time isn't good enough. Thank you for this awesome game!

NightDead responds:

Thank you for the comments and especially for the time to play and perceive what the game offers (good things and some bugs)

Have a creepy Halloween!

How different

With all the zombie stuff going around, it's great that people still work on original stuff. Granted, I would probably want more of the traditional zombie shooting games. Hey, you guys catch the new season of "The Walking Dead"? As usual, it's great to see so many talented people collaborating on this. The artwork is probably the most admirable part. I really like it how there seem to be so many body movements going on.

The sounds and voices are really well done and authentic too. It's the kind of game you can spend all day as you can really experiment with it. While not the biggest fan, it's interesting to see a zombie pet/buddy game. I think that might be the first time I ever even saw that written (or typed) under Genre. It's great to see so many good details.

Evil-Dog responds:

thanks for the detailed review dude, I'm sure gonna get those Walking Dead episodes :D

Mostly very enjoyable

What I find to be the coolest about this is how straightforward everything is. Dude, I think I rose the score from a 3.82 to a 3.94! That's got to be some record for me! This is a good game because the graphics are good and the medals make you want to continue playing. I thought that the third form was going to be the final, but there was even a fourth! The first and fourth are really the only ones where he seems to be actively attacking you.

All the other times, it's like there's just obstacles in your way. It's also great to have so many difficulty modes to interact with. At least I'm weak enough to get through the Easy mode, but held my own until Medium's third form. The music is nice and gives the player a good sense of being in a sci-fi world. I'm glad this got front paged.

Thx for the in-depth review and pushing the rating. :)

Mostly enjoyable

This was a fairly interesting game to play because the gameplay was quite abstract. While the artwork wasn't that good, it was still entertaining to see this guy just fly around everywhere. The music and graphics remind you of classic old games. Granted, I don't think I've ever even played old games like that, just ones similar to it here on this website. The best thing is how the lasers go from one side of the screen to another.

I am glad you do not have to collect the ship parts for every level. I was a bit confused when I had done that and still hadn't completed the first level. It's great how you have good mobility and control over yourself. It could probably use some better coloring effects, because it looks a tad sloppy. It's still worth checking out.

LilDwarf responds:

Thanks for the review!

Usually good

This was a good game, but its main problem was that it was rather incomprehensible. You have to touch the branch on the other half to get over the man (or should I say bunny) eating plant. It's amazing how I didn't figure that out at first. The music is great and it's interesting to see this world you created for yourself. It is weird how this game just seems to go on forever. The darkness makes it a little hard to see, too.

Of course, its dark appeal is what the game is supposed to be like. The graphics are certainly decent and it gives you a good sense of adventure. There are interesting things to see even though they make no sense to me. I somehow got a medal with 0 points. If you're a fan of surreal games, then check this out!

NightDead responds:

Thank you very much for the comments and suggestions.

Sorry about the medal, "The past always come back" ... is a medal test and was supposed to be secret, not even a real medal so it is not supposed to be discovered, HOWEVER I congratulate you find it.

regards
