Hard to hate

This was one of the goofiest games I have played on this website or at least the goofiest in a long time! It's hard to say that I recommend it because it's so amazingly ridiculous. It's certianly good for a quick laugh. The funniest part was definitley at the beginning when you guys were getting hit by the water bottles. The graphics were really cheesy in this but that added to the camp appeal. You also had a good amount of music for everything that was needed.

It is difficult to suggest you to do anything different, because it seems like you accomplished what you were trying to do. The most fun part was actually in the house, probably because it was the hardest! I was a bit annoyed with how you could not jump further on the buildings. Wouldn't the water and fire cancel each other out there? The acting is so amazingly goofy as well.

MonoFlauta responds:

Mmm, sorry, didn't undesrtand the problem with jumping and that, but great that you liked the room escape part, thanks for reviewing! :)

Certainly playable

While not a great game, this was okay so it can't really go in the good or bad category. The biggest strength is probably how it has a simple enough premise to understand. It has most of what makes a platformer entertaining. Where you lost points was that this was not detailed very well and there was not much in the background or anything. It just seems like you could have put more design in everything. Simplicity can work, but there should also be some uniqueness.

That music is pretty popular as I recognized it. I guess from all the audio stuff I have reviewed, it would only make sense that I would find some stuff that I recognized! The medals in this game, that is their design was too simplistic. You could work by putting shading and shadows into the objects. Making something one color rarely impresses people.

What part? The part with the score grabbers? They are enemis.
I can add shadows in The Floorsland Zero: Ancient Adventure, which will be after the game that I`m working on right now.

Dinosaurs on jetpacks!

That sounds like something the next "Yu-Gi-Oh" spinoff would feature or at least the next card. While the graphics were not that great, what really mattered was that this was pretty fun. The part I had the hardest time with was the place with the two missile launchers on both sides. You can't go in the middle because there's something that burns you. The best thing to do is wait for the launchers to go around. It was really neat with how you were able to see what you were expecting in the rest of the level.

That chart showing the records takes awhile to load. There have to be a lot of things I'm missing because I only got a score of 36,000! One thing to keep note of are those crevices where coins are hiding. There was a good variety of obstacles in your path. When you have dinosaurs using jetpacks, it's hard to go wrong.

Different for a zombie game

I did not count the number of zombies that appeared in this, but I would not be surprised if it was about a million. The coolest thing was how this was simply never ending and well, that was about all there was. It was extremely fast paced, but it can be annoying with how you have to keep up with them. It is amazing how you managed to have over 50 medals and all of them are exactly 5 points! Granted, I was only able to get one so far. At least it has zombies, which is always good.

This is very fast-paced, so if you intend to get various medals, be sure to keep yourself on your toes. Honestly, you would have to play this for hours to get every single medal. I imagine it would be like that for any game with over fifty medals. I kind of wish there had been more of an actual story in this. It's still great to play!

Thanks for your reply. I'm glad you liked it :)

Can't hate it

I am unfamiliar with your other projects, so I can not judge this on how good it is on relation to them. It was weird to have no sound, and that is really something that you should try to avoid. Even if the music can come off as annoying, you can always have a button that mutes it. That being said, I still did not find this to be that terrible. The coolest thing about it was the interesting designs. It makes you realize that rock, paper, scissors, can be a popular game.

We even have a Pico version of that game that's truly popular! It was interesting to see the weird variety of characters used! The designs in this were good, but it does feel fairly lazy when it appears to be just still images after each other. You could use stop-motion to depict what the characters are doing. Well, it was fairly good in detail at least.

Madeinpda responds:

Your suggestions should made the game an overall +1 or +2 improvement but I would have worked twice the time ... this game doesn't worth it.

But thanks for your tips :-)

Pretty neat

I thought this was a cool game because it was just fun to look at. The Catch-22 with that is the graphics seem to be taking some time for me to get used to. There was a lot of detail in them, but it seemed to come off to me as being a little silly. Everyone just bulged out so much. This is still a good game because it is unlike any zombie game you have played before. I know by now that every shooting game like this is going to feature zombies.

It was good to have TomaMoto's voice in this, as usual. This actually appears to be taking place in a well lit area, even though the areas you can not see are dark. It's kind of a point and click game when you have to find keys and stuff. The quality was not that good for me at first, but did get better. The sound effects were authentic as well.

Xplored responds:

Thank you.

Good and hard

I can't hate this game because it is very well done! The coolest thing is the graphics. I mean, for a game that's nothing but a screen with some bubbles on it, it is very nice to just look at. Even the actions the bubbles make when you press them are hardcore! What I did not like was just how hard this turned out to be! There were so many different sounds to choose from and even if you listened carefully, you still had to inspect each and every one hoping to get the right color.

I was thinking it would be more like a "Simon Says" game, but man, was I wrong. If this does not make you more aware of music, nothing will. I thought it would be something where you would try to pop bubbles or something. All in all, this is a very sophisticated game and a recommendation for someone who really wants a challenge. It's so difficult it's very highbrow!

GameBalance responds:

It's far not simon. The name fit the game tho, you touch the bubbles haha!
Color in game is random.
The game requires some music ear. But I think it's good because it might train it some.

For those who have no music ear - I m sorry :(

murp is Number 1 today!

I am surprised that this did not get any medals to go with it. I think this might also be the first time I found out your name was Felix Wiesner, as I thought it had a "Maus" in it. Anyway, the "Powerfox" series was one of my all time favorite games on the Internet! It was great to see PF finally back and kicking butt like he should! This game was probably the hardest at least with the Difficulty modes I tried. I understand why you chose India instead of going all around the world this time.

It was because India has over a billion people and their Hindu religion has over a million gods (seriously)! I don't know if that was intentional, but some Fridge Brilliance I saw. I loved the references to your other games, like the giant crab claw. The genie powerups were easily the best, with the Foxzilla powerup the best of them all. You still keep the tradition of so many things going on at one time.

Wiesi responds:

Thank you!

Nice game!

It is always great for people to pay tribute to Newgrounds, even if it's on the website already. It was amazing with how you managed to not only get a lot of characters, but different drawings of the characters! I will probably never be able to draw characters for animations, but can at least appreciate it. I hope other people can learn from this. If it is forgotten, then at least you know it won an award. The wide selection of music was also great and how you could also mute or pause it.

The best thing is that you waste no time going in detail. You do not try to turn this into a game or anything just a nice tutorial. It is rare that I see a game like this that does not have the word "tutorial" in the title. I was impressed by the drawings themselves! Nothing was done with sprite work or anything as it goes more basic.

Aprime responds:

I'm glad you liked the music player, although I don't think I should really put music on my content especially since its copyright. Then again, I can't even remember what music I put on this. I don't think I'd be very good at animating them either, but I'm glad you learnt something!

I'm glad you said I go into detail, usually people say I'm to vague LOL
Tutorial in the title doesn't sound nice
Sprites would be mad

Thanks for the review :)

Seems familiar

This reminds me of "8-bit Theater" especially with the Red Mage designs and everything. While I do not read that, I have seen some flash versions on this very website. This was really cool to play because there were just so many things going on! I loved the detail that was put into everything. It was apparently made in pixels, but the pixellation flowed together so well it was just good to look at. While not action-oriented, it is certainly an RPG that I can get behind.

The best part is that there are so many places to explore. You really have to make your sword slash at everything if you want to get every hidden goodie out there. I love how you guys really went out and created a world of your own. I hope that you manage to get medals with points on them soon. The author comments are very informative as well.

ryoshenron responds:

Thanks for the compliments. The medals in the game are NG medals so they should have points and stuff as soon as an admin approves all the medals.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
