He did approve them!

This was a pretty interesting game because it had a very simple design to it. My biggest complaint is that it is annoying with how you have to move around so much to see the approaching meteors. At least the graphics are nice. I especially admire the music, which truly gives you a sense of being in a space adventure. Everything just sounds so ambitious in this especially with how the weapons fire. It's interesting how something so simple seeming can be fairly hard.

I suggest most people just go all around the planet to look for oncoming meteors. Be sure to immediately destroy them as soon as they come in sight. The way the planet becomes smaller might actually help you. It allows you to get a better look at what's coming on the other side of the planet. The controls work well, too.

Hi Ericho, thanks for your feedback!

Harder than I thought

I thought that with all these medals, it was going to be a really easy game. This is actually a lot harder than it looks, which I have to give you credit for. It is just amazing how these fruits can cause so much damage to you. The graphics are as good as any other game that is similar to "Duck Hunt". It makes me think there should be a "Duck Hunt" collection here. I love how the sounds are decent and it's so satisfying to shoot these clocks.

It's the kind of game that's hard to do with a laptop. A more flexible mouse seems to make more sense with this game. It's always nice to get upgrades, because it can be a pain when you have to reload. I never thought a game like that could be really challenging, but it was because you were damaged if so much as one of those guys escaped. Happy Clock Day 2011!

thinking-man responds:

Happy clock day to you too!

Pretty typical

I have played games like this before and there doesn't seem to be that much that stands out. It does, however, still manage to have some of the enjoyability of games like this. I suggest you make it more detailed. You could put some more details in the background instead of just the same things and obstacles. The witch could also be better designed. I just didn't see how a cave fitted a witch that much. It is still a pretty good effort.

The music gives off a pretty good sense of action. After awhile, you do kind of realize you are just punching the same button and getting the same result over and over. Word of advice, it's nearly impossible to get above those things. I am glad you can just keep your finger on the mouse to get higher. It gets harder than you would think.

Thank you for your review Ericho. :)

Sweet game!

Probably the best game I have played in awhile because it was so much fun! It did get worse as you lost your weapons. To think, at first I thought you didn't lose your weapons as you died, but I was wrong. Another cool thing was how the graphics were so simplistic, but it was still very hard! It made sense that you got a medal simply for completing each level. The graphics reminded me of some of the games made by poxpower.

Obviously, you are good in your own right. Another neat thing was how the enemies all had fairly unique designs. They came out in some of the weirdest and funniest shapes I could imagine for a game like this. I have little doubt such a cool game will pass judgement. With all those enemies coming at you, the bosses are actually the easiest of all!

RatherRandomReality responds:

I'm quite happy how all those enemies turned out considering that that's my first project in which I use pixelated graphics. Thank you for playing!

Pretty interesting

This was a decent game because it had a pretty original premise to it. You would think that zombie babies would be a lot more disgusting in their depiction. It was great because I didn't even know how I was supposed to win or lose at first. I had no idea that the game ended when the baby just stopped moving, although I guess it makes sense now. It was funny to hear the cooing baby sound over the destruction. You basically had nothing to do but click the accelerator button.

After that, the game pretty much played itself. It was so fun watching the baby bounce around you didn't even care when the game ended. The graphics are decent, but they could be a bit more flashy. I also suggest you put in some more things like obstacles and different kinds of powerups. It is still good for a quick play.

FightClub69 responds:

Thanks for the review Ericho!
The basic idea is to try to catch the baby when he bounces up into the air by accelerating and braking to keep the pram underneath him.

Very elaborate!

I have just been playing great game after great game today! The most awesome thing about this was that it really did seem like one of the most original things I had come across with on this website in awhile. It was sweet to hear that monster scream out loud when it was being taken to the square. The animation, for some reason, reminds me of Dr. Tran. It's times like these that make me wish a series like that was on this website.

It was great that so many people manage to come up with custom made levels. The music is also extremely glorious and gives off a good sense of adventure. It sounds a lot like it was remixed from some "Legend Of Zelda" game. We will always need puzzle games like this to learn to truly concentrate on our games. You come up with the best stuff, nutcasenightmare!

Nutcasenightmare responds:

You're right, I just realized that the screaming mouth looks like that of a certain true American legend, who killed his own mother with a broken lawn chair!

Thank you for the review! Puzzle on, fellow monster.

Hard, but good

This was a fairly interesting game to play because it had a nice appeal to it. At first, it seemed so easy but there were so many things going on you had to take note of. The worst thing was probably the timer. I don't know why, but I have never been good at these games where you move at that angle with the arrow keys. I keep getting everything mixed up. I could swear that some of these keys actually change their function after awhile.

It's nice how you are trying to get medal points, not that I would ever get them. The best thing about this was probably the music. It just gave off a really good mysterious feeling especially with the explanation at the beginning. For a square with not that many pixels, I thought the main character was pretty good. Auto-saves are always a plus.

maxman43 responds:

The changing of the controls was a gameplay element to make it more difficult, the keys are supposed to move you in random directions which change when the timer runs out. Thanks for playing, good to hear you thought it was interesting anyway.

Too hard

I thought this was pretty good because of the design. The only real problem I had with it was that I could not understand it at all. The instructions told me to simply go and click the bunny, but nothing seems to happen. The most that happens is that there's this one barrel that I click and it opens and then I click on a sword that comes out. That is seriously as far as I have gotten. I still have to give you credit for having a cool theme with the pirates and bunnies.

This reminds me of that episode of "South Park" with all the guinea monsters. I never realized how much bunnies look like guinea pigs. Please try to give instructions that are more clear so it's easier to progress. It seemed more like a point and click adventure than a puzzle game. Not that I would know as I didn't get far.

Zonferno responds:

Sorry to hear about the difficulty you are having. What the instructions are meant to mean is that you use the mouse to interact with different objects IN ORDER TO save Pirate Bunny.

Try and see if you can get any further. If not, and you want some help, send me a PM.

Thanks for your review!

Quite underrated!

This was great to play probably because I was so good at it. I'm not that much for racing games on this website, but I did so well in this! Every single time I went on a new lap, I managed to set a shorter time period for myself! It was probably because I really knew how to learn from my mistakes and understood the track better. The graphics in this are great as well. The only bad thing is that I don't like some of the sound, particularly with the stratching ones you make when you turn.

There's a nice amount of detail put into all of the courses. It seems like I'm riding in a mansion or something. I guess someone that rich probably wouldn't mind if I tossed their furniture around a bit. The music is also decent and gives you a good sense of an actual race. I may never care for Nascar in real life, but this is cool.

Clever yarn

Dude, I can't believe I somehow missed this when I was going through the daily stuff. This is a sweet game and it's great to see you working again. The best part about it was probably that it was not too long, so it didn't get frustrating. All the graphics/animation are presented in a nice way too. It's fun to see how much personality you can put into stick figures. This even managed to have a style as original as your previous game.

While there could have been some more jokes, it was still a good play. I also have to give you credit for having a wide variety of ways to do things. Sometimes you clicked on things, other times you used the keyboard. It was great just to see how you could even die or lose. While not the best in terms of animation, still tons of fun.

PuffballsUnited responds:

Working again? I've been working on this since October :p I had more jokes in the game but I cut them because it was getting too big.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
