Well, I thought this game has a good layout, but I'm pretty bad at it. It's mostly because I'm getting to the fight with Argas and losing badly. It's still a good RPG. I was really impressed at how huge it was. Even out of the forest, I couldn't get a medal! The artwork could have been a bit better, though.

For the most part, the game is pretty fair to you. It's just so massive. I'm glad I managed to get as far as I did at least. I would recommend this, even though I'm not usually into RPG's. I think they're a bit too complicated.

RockLou responds:

Okay, thanks! How are you losing against Argas though? He's not even supposed to be able to kill you or anything.
Unfortunately, I keep having problems with the medals. Hopefully they willl get fixed soon.

I thought this game wasn't bad. I wouldn't quite recommend it, though. It didn't really have anything out of the usual. It's still pretty good. I think the graphics and gameplay are just okay. The best part is probably how the enemies are designed.

They really are done well! The music is pretty nice too. I do think it's a bit too big. It seems like a game that large would have better design. It still isn't bad.

TheEnkian responds:

Yeah, that's fair enough. The art style of it is quite simple in places and the game isn't too difficult to get through.

Wow, you deserve props for making something like this. A pity it really is too complicated to figure out. It took me awhile to understand that I was the white box running around. I'm glad to have a game with such unique design. Unfortunately, I'm not that good at it. It's too hard to even get a medal.

I appreciate how good the music is. I would definitely recommend this. I don't even know HOW to get a medal. While a frustrating game, still one worth looking at. I appreciate that.

TerribleDesign responds:

Yay, someone liked the graphics! :)
How would you make the game more approachable? I tend to have difficulty with easy difficulty curves. So I thought that having multiple solutions to one puzzle that allowed for branching paths per screen would be a good idea. It is just as difficult as ever, but non linear!

The way I approached the game was with "action paths" that focus on avoid red squares and "puzzle paths" that take you though some crazy mazes! I also mix the two at times. I don't know if having that insight will really help you though.

Please support the music artists by checking the Bandcamp links in the description. Most albums are pay-what-you-want and that includes free! So be sure to check out the full tracks!

Well, I guess I can't say I would recommend this. It seemed weird to have a game with goombas where you couldn't kill them. Jumping on them just seems like the standard thing. I did at least think that this game was done pretty well. I think it's at least creative.

I'm glad that there was a lot of good music. I could understand how you didn't have to go all the way around with the large goomba. I don't think there's even a way to get past that guy. It was easy to understand how to get the medals. While not great, it wasn't bad.

JackAstral responds:

Thanks for playing and leaving a review anyway :)

I am sorry, but I could not really get anywhere with this. It was basically just these two areas. I wasn't able to get ahead at all. I think you actually made it a bit too difficult. I would liked it if you didn't have to specifically touch certain areas to get ahead. I think the graphics could be better too.

The music isn't bad, though. This just doesn't seem like anything particularly special. While not a fan of point and click adventure games, I have played better ones. You need some more detail. I would have forgotten the other games by now.

selfdefiant responds:

You know, well, I know you don't like these so it really doesn't make much sense to make so many complaints. For one, this is the 4th part. If you haven't played the other 3, you won't get this one. I know you think the graphics could be better, why don't you just say they could be worse? We have gone over this several times. I am so amazed that you play my games when you know you won't like it. I don't like dress up games, so when a super cool one comes out, I'm not going to go play and review it. It wouldn't be fair since, I don't like them and don't know if one is better than the next. Also the graphics of any game could be better. Some are so bad it's scary. Who cares, some art is better than other art and some art isn't like by everyone. :)

This really is a great game. I think the best part is how well it flows. I got a medal even though I didn't get to any high level. I still like this, well I would in that I got a medal. It reminds me of some other games you guys have made. The sounds are good too.

There really are some unique enemies in this. It's nice to see their different formations. It's still pretty hard to avoid their attacks. At least I know how to hit them. There's no medal for not skipping the opening cutscenes.

BerzerkStudio responds:

Thanks for the feedback! :)

I admit that it really is getting harder. It's probably because the paintings are getting more and more obscure. I think I still do a pretty good job. It's nice to see who gets the medals. I do admit the series is getting a little tiring. I guess it's just because there have been so many of them.

I still like this. The music is really good. I'm glad you did all of these yourself, right? You could have just flooded the art portal with them, but put them all here. You seem organized like that.

Munguia responds:

Thanks Ericho, yes all was made by my self, music, drawings, puns and program, besides i really enjoy to study art from the past, theres a lot of information,

Well, this is one hell of a frustrating game. I honestly couldn't advance much at all. I managed to get the jumping 100 times medal. It's not showing up. I have to praise you for having an original idea. I think the bird still looks dead some times.

I don't know if that's intentional. You REALLY have to train with this game. Even jumping over is almost impossible for me. I don't like it enough to keep on trying. Well, it's certainly challenging!

Mantis1 responds:

I'm sorry that the medal didn't register on NG, but if you refresh the game, the unlock notice will be re-sent and you'll probably end up unlocking it.

Yes, it was intentional that the game was a little hard. But I thought that was necessary because otherwise, winning wouldn't feel good. I feel that easy flash games frustrate me more than hard ones.

Well, here we go again. Honestly, I'm not getting into these games that much. It does seem like it's just the same thing of looking around finding stuff. It doesn't help that the graphics don't seem that good. The music was probably the best part. The furthest I got was getting my tent up.

I am glad other people seem to like it. I have just never been into point and click adventure games. I'm sure you're a wonderful person, but you don't really make stuff for me. That is alright. You could improve on stuff like visuals.

selfdefiant responds:

Well when you develop on your own like I do you tend to play the role of many people. I do the best I can and improve as much as possible. I really don't mind if you and a few others don't like the games I make. There are far too many people who do like my work, I say thank you to them. I also must ask, what keeps drawing you into playing my games if you dislike them so?

You do deserve credit for making something so stylized. There really is a lot to this game! Granted, I can't really get that far, but it's still good. My last death was when I couldn't cross the hole. I thought the parachute just went on until you were on the ground. That's where that one achievement seemed to take place.

It reminds me of Thing-Thing. I know you're not the guy who made that, though. It was fun to just go around and jump on these people. There are pretty fine details in everything too. The sounds and music seemed to work fine, but I don't think my medal's showing up.

SoulGame responds:

Many thanks for the nice review. We're working on fixing medals, but having some troubles with it!
