Now that was weird

It is interesting to be introduced to a new series of yours. I have to say that this could have used a bit more action, but it supposed to be surreal, so I should not complain much. I had no idea that you were going to show three separate episodes in this. The best part was probably at the end where the "series" seem to come full circle. It was also pretty cool to have that intro which is irrelevant to the actual cartoon. It is also pretty weird to see it spelled "Whitmore" and not "Widmore".

A little too short

I appreciated this for having interesting animation not to mention some really good effects. It does seem a bit regretful that it is so short. I can understand why the creator of "Cuboy" favorited this flash. Some strong points were the three little alien creatures that were around the title character (if that even was his name). It kind of seemed as though you were trying to tell a story about childhood innocence lost. The music selected just seem to really set the tone for that interpretation.

Pretty enjoyable

It sounded like the beast master was trying to communicate using his Twitter account. I liked how you used that music, I am pretty sure it was in the "Urban Legends" series. It was really cool to begin by saying, "The Tale Of...", which reminded me of the "Are You Afraid Of The Dark?" series. I could tell that this was an early animation. It was good that you threw in surrealism from the start with those strange turtle babies. Having story time with someone is always fun when you were a kid.

I knew it was familiar

It was great to you to use that awesome music from "The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya" which always has great music. The sprite work was really well done and all the lips and instruments synched up well. My only complaint is that it would have been better if there was more action. I would have liked to see some people in the seats standing up or something. Still, you can simply never go wrong with music as good as this. The credits were really cool and I did even notice an additional song.

Now that is groovy

It is really cool how so many people with similar names are working together on something as cool as this. The weird thing is that this is probably one of the most comprehensible Catoblepas flashes out there. It does not have a bunch of fantasy creatures flying around. I love the reference to Hiati, as it is always good to riff on current news. Everything just struts out of the screen, like I can see the layers and backgrounds moving around! It was also nice to have a character who acknowledged some of the crazy stuff around there.

A great world

The most admirable thing about these submissions is that they are so insane and completely relish in their insanity. It really helps that the title character is the happiest character. You guys have truly created a world of your own with tons of crazy things going on. For some reason, it reminds me of "Wallace And Gromit". Besides the animation, the story is good and so are the jokes with the innocence again of the main character. It would be pretty lame if your only power was flying, especially with those other superheroes.

Sure was obvious

Yeah, I know you were pretty much pounding the idea that superstition is bad over our heads. It is of course a great lesson that we should all know and be aware of. I loved the reference to the "Twilight Zone" episode "Time Enough At Last" with the broken glasses near the bookstore. The animation in this was pretty good and unique. I thought it might be a game at first, but it definitley works better as a short film. The thing is, nothing can ever trump science because any observed and confirmed way of how the Universe works is a part of science.

The games are still different

The only reason, and I mean the ONLY reason this did not win any award is because it was made on Madness Day. It is pretty much never a good idea to make a great submission that is not Madness related. I still appreciate this even though I have not played some of the games and could not really understand some jokes. At this point, I realize that listening to you before choosing a movie works as part of the humor. The best was probably "Awesome Crossing", especially with the angry and sad elephant.

That is art

I almost feel guilty because I did not enjoy this as much as a lot of other people did. I even played the piano a lot in real life, before I eventually bade it a tearful farewell. I love how the opening gives voices in a musical thing that sets the tone for what this character is going through. The animation is as good as ever. I love how inspiring the entire story is and how the guy is able to express himself through music despite all the hardships he has gone through. Hopefully, we can do great things too throughout our lives.
