[Half-Life For The Win]

Headcrabs!

I am not the biggest Half-Life fan, but this was still a really fun cartoon because of its creativity. I really enjoyed how the headcrab came off and showed his real head. It would be funny to have more headcrab action, but I just liked it in its randomness. I really like these character designs and how well they interacted with their environment. The animation is very interesting, especially with how the cameras move. It is not often someone gets an award two days after submitting a flash.

That was very random

I have not seen the first "Hey Jim" so I can not compare with how well it was in comparison to the first one. I guess I understand the joke more as I think about it. The first guy was talking about how someone was calling the phone as a metaphor. Jim talked about the phone in a metaphor too, but used it in a way to mess with him. The animation was not half bad, but could have used some more uniqueness. On a side note, I think that TomaMoto is slowly becoming the male Rina-chan.

Pretzels?

Well, that was a pretty enjoyable cartoon, if only because the animation was really nice. I could not understand the punchline at all and why there would even be pretzels in Heaven. You do acknowledge the fact that it is supposed to be stupid and short, so it achieved its purpose well. I really like it when people are honest, particularly when they make something bad. I admit that the "Jim" joke was pretty funny, but I could have sworn I heard "Kim". I do in fact just have problems with my headphones.

THE FIRST EVER GREAT SUBMISSION!!

As I am a huge fan of this website and its history obviously, this holds great significance to me as it shows off the first flash submitted to Newgrounds that I would favorite! If I had been here from the start, this is the flash that would have got me hooked. You can basically sum up all of the humor in this by saying, "It's f*cked basically". I have done my research and found out that, yes, the pygmy shrew is in fact a real animal. As a big fan of nature stuff, it is always fun to see satire/parody of it. Congradulations on being the first truly great flash in this website's history to me!

While you may have figured this out by now, I wanted to let you know that we do not normally accept tests here as submissions. I do not know if there is any official rule, but there may be. You should work harder to make something and I guess that was your intention. It would have been better if there had at least been some music. I guess the animation by itself is not terrible. While I like cheese (I thought it was butter at first) you need to work with a way that gives you more creativity.

I love demos

Demos are great to watch even though they do not show off or escalate any new production. What matters is that you are one of the best animators out there, and it is awesome to see samples of your stuff. I could recognize most of it, as I have seen most of your things. I think this may be the first demo reel I saw that actually used a song I had heard of. Yes, I do think this is the first time anybody referenced the "Trololo" meme here on Newgrounds. I look foward to your future work as you obviously have things planned.

One of the best 2000 submissions

I love this cartoon if only because it is so cool to hear that awesome Mentos music. I also like the animation in this one and how it seems to have so much variety. While it may seem primitive by modern standards, I love how the characters move. There is no idea what is going to happen next, but hey, it has pointless violence! That and a catchy theme song and are all that you need in a great Newgrounds submission. I would probably not want to find out what a chop shop is.

All around flawless

This is one of the best cartoons you have created, but I do not understand why it is in the "Funny Cartoons" section. It may be because it is a great example of dark humor, with how insane everything is. The animation and voice work is as good as anything else. As the story goes in reverse, it is hard to find any structure, but it is just so wonderfully twisted, I do not really care. The cockroaches reminded me a lot of Franz Kefka's short story "The Metamorphosis" which you probably love. It may not have a comprehensible them, just creativity at its finest.
