One of your best!

I'm not the biggest fan of teasers, but it was pure genius to not just show a teaser, but an entire movie with it! Looking back, it's easy to see why your Castle series is so popular, and some of my favorite stuff too. Both things had all the good animation and action you'd want from them. The music was also very cool, and it sounded like something from a German heavy metal band. You have truly shown that stick figures can be made into an art form and have their own style and characters. Even if it's pure action, it's still great.

What twists!

The animation was very impressive, and it's great to see so many people contributed to making it! It kind of reminded me of Appsro's stuff almost. It was great to see it being revealed he was actually playing with a joystick the whole time. But to not just reverse it, but show it was the girl on the milk carton is the ultimate foreshadowing! I was expecting him to ejaculate after saying "I'm coming!". This may have been short, but it really delivers its punchlines well.

Now I can say that in Spanish

I was half expecting to see him go up to a female dog and say that, but it was something else. I kind of thought this was some of your lesser work, as it didn't have much of a punchline. What really saves it is how good the animation is. It's funny to just see him jumping around (apparently, you can say, "la la la" in Spanish). It's easy to follow and it helps that there's a lot of setup for the final joke. It may have been predictable, but it isn't terrible at all.

Thanks...?

Hey, that was really funny!

The animation is as interesting as ever, and it's nice to be more associated with this popular series. I was a little disappointed that it seemed to only have one punchline. It should still be noted that this was still quite funny, due to the fact that it addressed that issue. I heard that are many gay penguins, but didn't know this was the cause. It's a pretty realistic representation of a reaction to something like that happening. I found it odd how one of the penguins was green, when they normally are not [green].

Darkar responds:

Apparently you put a lot of effort in the analysis of this type of artwork.

Well, you shouldn't. Cartoons are meant to be unexpected and ridiculous.

True story?

I am quite sad if this was indeed based on a true story, as it is pretty sad. Apart from that, there's really nothing noteworthy about how this was made. I think this looks a lot older, like it was made in 2000 or 2001. The story isn't much, as the crossing guard lady does literally nothing throughout the entire cartoon. I guess it does work well as being sad in that sense as she just seems so pathetic in everything she does (or doesn't do). With a lot more work in animation and more of a story, it could be waaay better.

That was original

I do think it's too late to put this into the "Christmas 2009" collection, but this was very nice! From the beginning, it really seemed like a Calvin and Hobbes comic strip. I love how there wasn't any dialogue at all, just a ton of cuteness. The cuteness was certainly disrupted by the giant pieces of snow falling, but I like how you didn't just go with gore everywhere. It was impressive to see the cute little animal critters everywhere too. It was all around cute and the snow falling didn't even strike me as that dark.

Very funny

That was a funny and creative idea to use, even if I didn't like it as much as everyone else here. I thought it was especially funny how he just bought a bunch of beer so casually. The irony is that he was helping everybody through his drunk driving but killed someone at the end. The punchline could have been a little better, but still very nice. The animation is as great as ever, especially with how the guy's foot goes down on the pedal. This had the usual clever and coolness Explosm gives us!

It's nice stuff

I usually expect more random or silly things from you, and most of Newgrounds for that matter. It's still nice that you take the premise of a standard slice of life idea. I couldn't quite understand the premise at first, but then I figured it out with the title. It perhaps wasn't the most innovative of ideas or stories, but it's the heart that counts. You were obviously trying to put a nice, tender hearted feeling into this and you succeeded. It may have been better if you put this around Valentine's Day.
