It is your masterpiece

This is an awesome stick flash and some of the best kind that I have seen on this website! While not the best thing you have made, it was certainly great in its day and in today! The characters just move so fluidly everywhere and have no point at all except killing each other. The sound effects and voices ("Freeze, sucker!") are very authentic as well. I also like the little quotes that go everywhere like, "I see you up there". There's great creativity with all the different weapons being used in this too.

Needs work

This was kind of terrible in my opinion. It was just a stick figure going on to a skateboard and doing nothing. The best thing about this was that I thought it was cheap how there was no sound but you did indeed put a song in it. I would suggest working a lot more on backgrounds and color and make it far longer. It seems like this took a minimal amount of effort. Try adding in a loading screen at the beginning at least if you are able to, as I was not.

Nice reference

I like the Clock Crew just as much as the next guy, but this was not entertaining to see. It is nothing but a single frame and the only reason it is high rated is because it was made on Clock Day. I guess the reason my cheesy Clock Day flash has such a low score is because I advertise myself a lot, and everything sees my stuff and hates it. I should have stuck with just making something clock featured. I just think it would be more appropriate to mark this under "Spam". At least it was a reference that I have not heard of and you had a nice series of author's comments.

SilentCobra responds:

Like I said, everyone is just fuckin zombies on Clock Day. "OH, GOTTA 5 EVERYTHING ON CLOCK DAY." <insert zombie noises here>. The rest of the year, we THINK about what each submission deserves and vote accordingly. I really don't know why it's like that. It just really pisses me off that we can't do better.

That's Facebook

I recently got a profile on Facebook, but I never use it unless I get an e-mail from someone who wants to confirm as a friend. I never got into MySpace as Facebook is now the most popular thing. I think that both are the same and people do just go over the one that is most popular. This had decent enough animation even though it was short. I thought it was weird how gerbils were being used, when that seemed to serve no purpose for a joke. Still, it did not make it any stupider than it would have been if you used another animal.

It was nice

I thought it was nice how you updated this, even though at first I thought it was a sequel. The cartoon was definitley more, beg your pardon, extreme with the visual chainsaws and stuff. It was really cool how you put an uncensored version here on Newgrounds. It was not as good as the original, as it does just kind of seem like a copy of your most popular flash. I think the voices in the original were better, but this one had better character design. I guess it just seems to be losing its impact as "Loonatics Unleashed" is cancelled or at least it should be.

Quite good

I remember seeing the first version of this and it was not very impressive. This, however, is much better even though I do admit that the animation really needs work. It helps that the song is so catchy even if you did not make it yourself. It was pretty long for a single theme song but that added to its goodness. I have never heard of this band before, but it was interesting to be introduced to someone new. I am glad you got frontpage and the recognition for this.

Nice and colorful

It was cool to see you make a flash that had more of a plot although the last one I saw did too. The negative side was that this was just not that creative as it was people throwing snowballs. I will say that it was cool to see something make a tribute to the winter Olympics, even if it is a bit late. I had heard of the "Hetalia" series before, but never seen a flash made about it. It was a nice change of pace. This looked like it could be an advertisement for the Olympics, but I guess you made it too late.

Your best work

You have showed off talent by showing that you still had all your great stuff even this early in the years of this website. The animation is just as good as it would be today. My favorite part is definitley, "Plot device, Mr. Frodo, plot device". As this was made the year the final LOTR movie was made, this movie was only fitting. Sauron, despite being an important character, never really appeared much in the series. It is great to see him have such a big role, even if it is in a parody.

I don't think it will be

I was hoping it would be about the "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" thing, but it actually was not. This was not among the most horrible things I have seen, but it definitley was not something I would recommend. The song just comes off as kind of dumb, as it is about boogers and stuff. The animation could really use some work, as it looks pretty primitive. With more advances in flash, you could make it better. I am sorry this did not become nearly as popular as the Peanut Butter Jelly Time song.

Don't worry ericho, it's received over 4,000 views on youtube :P.

Awesome stuff!

When I was looking into this series, I was hoping this would be something you would put in every year, but it wasn't. At least you managed to make a great tribute in addition to your other Madness stuff. I love how it starts off with that rock Grinch music and then goes into the normal Madness music. The animation is loyal and authentic to the Madness style and I especially like the outlines. Santa Claus and the elves make good characters to fight in these tributes.

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
