Nice head

Judging from the ridiculous title, I just had the feeling that this wasn't going to be very long. It was a pretty enjoyable thing to watch, if only for the art shift where Pico was made at Nene. I also thought it was cool to include that song at the end. An ordinary guy would've ended with Pico getting his head cut off. Showing the extra effort by having him throw his head (and I guess they both die) was very nice. While I'm way off, I can at least say Happy Pico Day and a Merry Christmas to you this season!

Very stylistic

I wasn't expecting much as first, as the title just seemed so random. I am glad that you turned this into a pretty flashy song, even if it didn't seem to have any story or anything. I was especially impressed by the different things that showed up in this. While the song may not be the best, it makes up for that in animation. I like how this was just a flashy experimental film showing all the themes related to "Portal" you could make. I was waiting for that cake to come with the caption that it was a lie.

Quite interesting

At first I was expecting this to use your robot character from other stuff, but apparently I was wrong. Then I realized I was right, even though he wasn't the focus of the cartoon. I thought the guy looked a lot like someone from an Egoraptor thing. Anyway, this had some pretty good things in its own right. I like the designs, especially that of the big monster. I was a bit disappointed that this wasn't longer and it didn't have great action scenes, but it was not bad at all.

well thanks. it was for a small school contest (which explains the lack of a good action sequence) , but it got a lot further than i expected it to go and i thought it was worth posting.

Ancient Chinese secret, huh?

I was not impressed at how it was really only one image, but it was a colorful one. I guess this did have a lot of funny moments like mentioning the character was a Christian or something like that. It was also funny when he mentioned Confucius wasn't born yet either. I don't know that much about Chinese history, but it sounds like you did your research. If you did this with a better voice and with movement, I would have liked this better. It wasn't terrible; it just had many areas to improve on.

Very different!

I was a little disappointed this didn't use more of the nature of drawing things everywhere, but it was great! It really helps that this is the entry with more variety and designs than anything else. It is like you are taking on a new art form and it seems to work well for you. I like it how you also tried to send a good political message. It might seem silly to be preachy, but at least you ended with the house about to be burned down (lol). You are really coming up with different ideas in this series.

AWESOME!!!

It helps that I'm a huge fan of cats and "Star Wars" so combining the two would create something awesome! What I love is that it looks like something that could be made in 2000 with the animation. This isn't an insult; it is a demonstration on how you can something fantastic despite not having the flashiest effects. I just loved how the cat's voice sounded. I thought it was odd how Cat Vader was after a frog, as those are about the only kinds of animals cats won't eat. I have seen my cat go after geckos, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did go after frogs.

You have created something on standard with any other great cat video, if not the best one on Newgrounds. It is nothing but cuteness from start to finish and that is all it needs. I love the lines fit the cat and Star Wars themes.

Very emotional

I really liked the wide variety (or at least the number) of songs that you used for this. The human characters had sort of simple designs, but that wasn't what you were trying to do. I really like the animation in this one; being able to idenitfy the little dots reminded me of the stuff in the Sunday comics (which I still read). It was also nice how you got an environmental message across with the trees being cut down. I'm glad it ended on at least a somewhat optimistic note. Merry Christmas to you now and forever, Sonucais!

Sonucais responds:

Hey ericho, thanks for reviewing again.

Pretty fun

The segment where Bomberman poops reminded me of this one guy named BlackTangledHeart who made a similar flash. Anyway, this had a lot of interesting things going for it in its own right. It's pretty interesting to see something made by all of you guys from Spanish speaking countries. I was especially delighted to see those different styles like using sprites or pain animation like with the Electrode. It was also great to see you pay some tribute to Michael Jackson. An impressive bit from BlackerOuT and friends!

Unforgettable

With the title "A Bid For Freedom" I had no idea it was going to be about bad breath and King Kong. While there was no animation, you managed to take me back to the days of when I read traditional story books. This remembered me of this one book about a bad word that became a cloud which I think you may have based it on. It was also pretty funny how the ending made it all pointless as in a shaggy dog story. The artwork was all done fantastically and seemed like something any great professional illustrationist could do. You should have this published as an actual book!

Wow, thanks for that fantastic review, and congratulations on joining the echelon of the top 25 all-time reviewers! You've clearly seen a heap of Flash in your time, so I'm honoured that you enjoyed our work so much!
Although I've read many books in my youth by talents like Roald Dahl and Dr Seuss, I've haven't had the pleasure of reading your specific title (though it sounds bizarre and interesting).
ABFF was pretty much conceived off-the-cuff to concur with the competition deadline, with partial reflection on my own experiences (being at deathlydull parties etc.) and fairly obvious pop-cult influences (that 1933 monster movie that the Lord of the Rings guy remade, title keeps slipping my mind...).
I'm really glad you like our style and our sense of humour; it was great fun to produce, I'll try my damnedest to get a new published edition out at some point along the way (I'll let you know when I do) and we'll all certainly work hard to produce more great entertainment for viewers like you in the near future!
