I honestly didn't find this to be as bad as everyone thinks. I mean, it is technically bad, but not downright terrible. It's nice to see these characters together. The main problem is that this is too long. No, I mean the screen is literally too long. The sprites could be better.

The cartoon itself is probably too short. I like how you praise Randy Solem. I've been reviewing his stuff recently too. Yeah, it holds up poorly. At least it was original at the time.

This was beautifully animated! My only problem was that the song wasn't that good. I am used to catchier stuff from you. I still loved this because of how wonderful the animation was. You seem to be getting better all the time. I could understand most of it.

I had to watch this because it was well, click bait! It didn't seem to have that much of it now that I think about it. It's still worth looking at your latest stuff. Everything flows so wonderfully. I just love the designs.

This is only going to be a segment? I thought we'd be funding a whole movie! It doesn't matter that much, because this is still awesome. Yeah, you could call me a fan of Alfred. I really am impressed at how good the animation is. It's just so beautiful to look at!

The colors and effects are wonderfully vibrant. I love seeing all this insanity. I'm familiar enough with the character to recognize this tone. I assume that's you in the video. I hope this gets made!

Yeah, it will be a whole movie! It's just being released segmentally as completed so I don't dissapear for the next year.

I found this to just be okay. I personally didn't care for the story. It did have some funny parts though. It didn't really have much porn onscreen. A lot of the stuff wasn't that funny. There's not much with just plain stills.

The sounds were fine. I can see why you don't regard this very much. The title is still kind of weird. You should have the penetrating part here. Wow, that sounds dirty.

Is there a followup to this? It's so weird how this is the first Sonic Vs. Mario cartoon I've ever seen on this website. It was even before Randy Solem's version! Mario doesn't even appear in this. I guess I'll give this credit for being the first of its kind. I don't think Mario is known for eating.

It just doesn't make much sense. I can tell you haven't animated much. I do like the music. I'd like to hear the song. I guess this fight could be interesting. He's a hedgehog, but the song sounds like it's being sung by a chipmunk.

Yeah, I agree that this was the weakest entry in this series. The main problem was that the animation wasn't good at all. I didn't even notice the sounds that much. The artwork was simply too distracting. I still like how this qualifies for an entry. It did have all those sounds.

You can tell these cartoons are meant to be simple. This one just wasn't detailed at all. There should be something going on with this. I guess it was at least kind of unique. You need to work harder with lines.

I think this is probably the best entry in this whole series of cartoons. It's just weird to hear no music. You still manage to tell the story very well. I think the guy here looks like Black Mage from "Final Fantasy". I haven't seen that design in a long time. I felt like the length was great too.

I really could associate more with this character. The colors work really well too. I'm glad you listed all the sounds. It truly shows how hard you worked. It's a nice environment that this guy is in.

I think the rating should be higher. It's just that this doesn't seem different than a lot of other stuff here. I liked this because the brevity made sense. It took some fine details to draw this. I was more interested in that than the sounds. I love this guy's facial expression.

It really does tell the story without dialogue. That's what these cartoons should be. It's pretty unpredictable too. These characters have pretty unique designs. I'm glad it made front page.

I feel bad for not giving this a higher score. I was interested as to what this jam was even about. I am glad I now know. All I can say is that it seemed to work out pretty well. This cartoon does seem vaguely familiar to me. Maybe it was just another cartoon you made that I'm thinking of.

I think the animation was pretty good. I was kind of turned off by the lack of dialogue. It is something that will take getting used to. I'm still glad it's the highest of anything in this collection. I guess I'm just not a fan of these jams.

Butzbo responds:

Hmmm; I think it may seem similar to an earlier cartoon from 2013, 'The Fish Tower', it has a similar premise (some sort of adventurer wandering into an abandoned place); I actually thought of this one as some sort of spiritual successor since it's just a an idea that worked well for this theme of the jam.

And yeah, these jams are really cool for practicing, but it's sometimes necessary to have the context of these to properly judge them, since the level of polish or storytelling can vary a lot.

Now that you mention it, I should do dialogue at some point; As much as I enjoy the potential of telling a story without words, it could bring more possibilities and points of view to my shorts.

Thanks for reviewing! :)
