Hey, it was my brother's birthday yesterday! Anyway, this was absolutely hilarious. Welcome to becoming a cartoonist here! They're some of the most cartoonish stuff I've come across in awhile! The voices and tone just fit everything perfectly. I loved the credits where she got swept up.

Damn, I wish this was a series. I'd love to learn more about these characters and see this as a full fledged series. It certainly can become one. It's easy to tell that you're into bakertoons. It was kind of too short and one note, but still great.

PutukSpitsVenom responds:

Thanks for all the kind words!
Also Baker is a friend of mine, so you're not wrong!

Not one of your best, but still good. My favorite part was the animation. I mean, it was really fell set up here with good movements. I knew where that leg joke was going. I have in fact heard of ToeJam and Earl. They had platformers with everyone and everything in the 90s.

This was definitely funky. It was quite authentic to the original game. Well, from what I know of it. The animation, while fluid, did look a bit dated. I'm still happy to have seen it.

Bobert-Rob responds:

Well thanks! I mostly enjoyed the script because of the censorship line, to be honest. But the flow of the whole thing was good enough that i figured it'd be fun for a quick animation. Not cream of the crop by any means, but still fun.

Also, not sure what you mean by 'dated' in regards to the animation style. I'm trying new things all the time, not sure how it can look dated. I mean, I don't do that uber anime inspired everything-has-to-be-dynamic-camera-angles-and-action-movie-visual-porn that seems to be the trend, but I see that as a good thing. That crap gets old quick. Also I'm just one animator?

My only complaint is that I wish you would have gone into more detail about love. You know, like a specific girl you were talking about. Well, this was still amazing. I've never been part of a dorm like this. I've still always tried to be social. The parties just never got wild.

I've had maybe three glasses of wine in my whole life. I've never smoked. I've never even done the grabass thing. I'd love to see more detail about this, but it was still very heartwarming. I've just never been into really loud social gatherings.

Raziberry responds:

I wasn't too much of a party guy, either. I was normally just observing conversations, or enjoying the atmosphere, wishing I knew how to be engaging. I'm still not great at it now, but I enjoying being at parties regardless.
The specific girl I was talking about was the one sitting next to me, silly! She'll be back...

It's weird because I consider 4.20 to be the score that I have to review something (it's a habit). Now, I realize that's 420! Well, I liked this but didn't think it was great. The idea could have been more original. Maybe I'm just too used to stick figures. This was still very watchable.

I wish it didn't end that abruptly! It was starting to get real gold. The artwork is mostly quite good. I even like that "Dojo" logo shown in the beginning. Everyone else just likes it more.

MayruAnimation responds:

I agree, I didnt even do anything to build up the fight... I made a lot of mistakes in planning, that's one of the reasons I cut it into 2 parts and end it so abruptly, because I wanted to have a fresh start and do a better job for the second half!

I have to admit that I wasn't following the plot that well. I thought it was just random stuff going on. I'm glad I understand it better. I can now appreciate how wonderful it is. It works great with its simplicity. It reminds me of "There She Is!!".

It's just something about rabbits. You can throw in cats too. Anyone can appreciate the gorgeous animation. You show off great colors too. I guess all silent cartoons like this are music videos.

9Hammer responds:

Kinda, yeah! I was contemplating on the idea of it being under an MV for a bit. And thank you!

I feel like we might need a "Parappa The Rapper" collection eventually! Maybe a Batman collection? I loved how these characters were so authentic to the game. I just wished there was more rapping. Well, that isn't the point. The point is that it's great seeing all these characters together.

I don't recognize most of them. I guess I'm not that familiar with Parappa. I certainly don't recognize Lammy. The green guy looks like Yoshi. I just now noticed the chalk outlines.

tscoct responds:

Most of the characters belong to fellow newgrounders, all the credits are in the description of the animation! Lammy is actually from Parappa universe, she was featured in a spinoff psx title "Um Jammer Lammy" as a main character and as background character in later parappa titles

Wow, this got surprisingly deep in the end. I did at least like this for the beautiful animation. I had no idea it would get like that. Pixel Day has brought us some great animations too! Damn, that's one hideous nose. It seems like a cutscene from a game submitted here.

It probably will be one day. These guys' fingers look like spider limbs. I've just always loved spider legs. Happy Pixel Day! I've never seen such high rated stuff since FNF submissions.

MaxJohnsonINK responds:

Thanks for the kind words!

This makes me sad. You know why? It didn't win Daily Feature! That's a crying shame! Anyway, this cartoon was absolutely fantastic. I think it may have the best animation I've ever seen from you! Damn, they had sex fast.

I really feel for these characters. I really sorry it had to end like this. It's always great to see those representations of the sponsors at the end. In the very first scene, it kind of looked like he was masturbating. Well, things get dirtier. At least the rating is still amazingly high.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

Glad you enjoyed it, Ericho.

Now that was awesome! It was easily the best submission for Pixel Day! I was so impressed at how good the action was. It looked like it was going to end around the one minute mark. Boy, am I glad it didn't! It was just oozing with creativity.

That sounds dirty. It's usually more about saving the day. Well, not always literally. I'd love to see this as an actual game! This is more like Sprite Day.

gatekid3 responds:

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I appreciate it.

This is great because of how well it flows. Now, we don't need to have infinite loops here. We can have the timed program do that! It reminds me of Smaug. He'd probably be better off with those gold coins. I have a lot of marbles.

I like their cool designs. The sounds are quite nice too. You have a pretty good background as well. Klecc is a pretty odd name. You know, the more I watch it, the more it grows on me.

Butzbo responds:

Oooh indeed! I thought a lot about the classic Hobbit chapter with Smaug while making it.
Also, funny that you commented on the name, goblin names in fantasy are usually short with an unusual sound to them so I just tried to come up with something in that line, it's an odd one indeed haha. Thanks for the review!

I am one of the most prolific reviewers on this website and even on the Internet! I am proud to be such a huge fan of this website!
